0557 Vandalism to Auto/ 7700 block Riverdale Rd/ unknown suspect shattered the front passenger window of the victim's vehicle parked in the parking lot.

0604 Suspicious Person/ 5400 block 85th Ave/ male was observed on a balcony by a resident. Male was stopped, identified, checked for warrants.

0820 Premise Check/ 85th Ave Apts area was clear, no suspicious activity observed

0900-1130 Traffic Assignment/ BLOCK THE BOX 85th Ave @ Annapolis Rd

1323 MPS/ 8400 block Annapolis Rd/ elderly woman suffering from Alzheimer's alleged abuse by her husband. EMS responded and transported her to Doctors. PGPD CVA was notified and refused to respond. Family arrived and advised this is an ongoing problem with her and no abuse is happening.

1350 Premise Check/ Fountain Club Apts area was clear, no suspicious activity

1419 Accident/ 8400 block Annapolis Rd parties exchanged information

1505 Traffic Assignment/ 6100 block Lamont Dr./ assisted with school dismissal

1550 DUI Arrest/ 7800 block Annapolis Rd/ intoxicated driver struck another vehicle while in transit. The intoxicated driver submitted to chemical test.

1640 Theft from Auto/ 7700 block Riverdale Rd/ the complainant was unavailable upon arrival

1700 Premise Check/ 8500 block Annapolis Rd/ business as usual

1825 hrs. Business check/ Carrollton Enterprises, check clear.

1900 hrs. Business check/ Plaza 30, check clear.

1925 hrs. Residential check/ 5300-5400 Block of 85th Ave, Citizens complaint of Suspicious Persons loitering in front of buildings and around the vehicles, check clear.

2030 hrs. Business check/ City of New Carrollton Pool check clear.

2050 hrs. 8400 block Annapolis Rd/ Alarm, all doors and windows were checked and secure. unknown cause for activation.  

2100 hrs. 6000 Block of Mentana St and the Pathway between Vera Cope Park and Powhatan St, Officers conducted a foot patrol in the area.  Citizens have been complaining about suspicious behavior, possible sale of drugs, gambling, and loitering of unknown persons, check clear.

2130 hrs., Beckett Field/ Kids were playing in the park, they were at the party behind the park.  They were advised and parents assisted in cleaning up the park.

2140 hrs., Residential check/ 5300-5400 Block of 85th Ave, Citizens complaint of Suspicious Persons loitering in front of buildings and around the vehicles, check clear.

2150 hrs., 5300 block 85th Ave/ Suspicious Vehicle Occupied.  A male was sitting inside of his vehicle after officers made trips past him.  Officers stopped and identified that he lived in the building, he was just using his phone before entering his residence.

2210 hrs., Longfellow St and 84th Ave/ Traffic stop, stop cleared without incident.

2220 hrs., CVS/ Suspicious person, caller stated a female had been sitting in front of the business in what appears to be hospital clothing.  Officers located the female, who was elderly, homeless, and suffering from several medical issues.  Officers contacted fire board who transported her to the hospital.

2235 hrs., 6400 block Fairbanks St/ Domestic, male half called because he and his wife got into an argument.  The argument was over the male half stated the female was home all day and should have cooked him dinner.  She stated they were to go to a party and eat there that is why she did not cook for him.  The female half was given information she needed and the male half was advised.

2335 hrs., 7600 block Riverdale Rd/ Hit and Run, caller stated a vehicle struck hers, but there was no damage done.  The accident occurred outside of the City of New Carrollton; therefore Prince George's County Police were contacted to come to the scene.  

0020 hrs., 8300 block Annapolis Rd/ Suspicious Person, male was standing behind the business counting his money.  Officers have dealt with the male on prior occasions he was checked on and sent on his way.

0030 hrs., 5400 block 85th Ave/ Unknown trouble, while conducting a premise check officers could hear a male yelling in this area.  Officers located a male who was intoxicated and attempting to get the attention of his girlfriend to let him in so he could see her.  Female half did not want to answer the door so a cab was called for the male to take him home to his residence.

0110 hrs., Residential check/ 5500 block of Karen Elaine Dr. Citizens complaint of Suspicious Persons loitering in front of buildings and around the vehicles, check clear.

0205 hrs., Area of Harland St and Sara St/ Sound of 6 gunshots were heard in the area, one call on it.  Officers checked the areas of Harland St, Sara St, Rycroft St, Inlet St, and Gavin St along with all of the parks in the area on foot.  There were no signs of any casings in the area or persons injured.  Officers asked several persons walking out of a party on Harland St and they did not hear or see anything at the time of the call.  Officers stopped a vehicle in the area as well; the driver was dropping off his intoxicated cousin who lives on Inlet St.
