0745 HOURS-  PREMISE CHECK- 5400 BLOCK 85TH AVE.-  ALL CLEAR.

0832 HOURS- PREMISE CHECK- 8500 BLOCK ANNAPOLIS RD.-  ALL CLEAR.

0916 HOURS- 6300 BLOCK 85TH PLACE- PROPERTY DAMAGE-  OFFICERS RESPONDED TO THE LOCATION AFTER THE CALLER DISCOVERED HER VEHICLE DAMAGED BY UNKNOWN MEANS.  OFFICERS GATHERED ALL REQUIRED INFORMATION FOR REPORT AND THE CALLER WAS PROVIDED CASE NUMBERS FOR THIS INCIDENT. REPORT WRITTEN

0948 HOURS- BREAK-IN- 8600 BLOCK POWHATAN ST- OFFICERS RESPONDED TO THE LOCATION AFTER THE CALLER REPORTED BEING NOTIFIED BY HER ALARM COMPANY OF A MOTION ALARM FROM THE PREVIOUS DAY.  OFFICERS WERE UNABLE TO VERIFY A BREAK-IN OCCURRED, THE RESIDENCE WAS UNDAMAGED AND THE CALLER WAS NOT MISSING ANY PROPERTY.  THE CALLER WAS ADVISED TO CONTACT HER ALARM COMPANY FOR A SERVICE CHECK.

1013 HOURS- PREMISE CHECK- 6200 BLOCK WESTBROOK DR.-  ALL CLEAR.

1135 HOURS- CHILD CUSTODY DISPUTE- 6600 BLOCK ADRIAN ST.-  OFFICERS RESPONDED TO THE LOCATION AFTER THE CALLER COMPLAINED THAT HER EX WOULD NO ALLOW HER TO SEE THEIR CHILDREN.  OFFICERS DID A WELFARE CHECK ON THE CHILDREN, WHO WERE OKAY, AND THE CALLER WAS ADVISED TO FILE FOR CUSTODY.

1208 HOURS- CHECK WELFARE- 7500 BLOCK RIVERDALE RD. - OFFICERS RESPONDED TO THE LOCATION TO CHECK THE WELFARE OF A PATIENT WHO LEFT P.G.H. WITHOUT MEDICAL STAFF REMOVING HIS I.V.'S.   OFFICERS MADE CONTACT WITH BOTH MALE RESIDENTS OF THE APARTMENT AND NEITHER WAS THE MALE IN QUESTION.  INCORRECT ADDRESS.

1220 HOURS- PREMISE CHECK- 8400 BLOCK ANNAPOLIS RD.-  ALL CLEAR.

1231 HOURS- DISABLED VEHICLE- 85TH AVE. /ANNAPOLIS RD. -  OFFICERS ON PATROL OBSERVED A VEHICLE DISABLED IN THE ROADWAY.  THE VEHICLE WAS UNREGISTERED, DISPLAYING TAGS ISSUED TO ANOTHER VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS IMPOUNDED BY CHARLIE'S TOWING FOR SAFEKEEPING, THE DRIVER WAS NOT IDENTIFIED. REPORT WRITTEN

1305 HOURS- ACCIDENT- 8600 BLOCK ANNAPOLIS RD.- UNIT 1 STRUCK UNIT 2 CAUSING MINOR DAMAGE TO BOTH VEHICLES.  OFFICERS RESPONDED TO SCENE AND FACILITATED AN EXCHANGE OF ALL REQUIRED INFORMATION BETWEEN THE INVOLVED PARTIES.

1356 HOURS- STOLEN VEHICLE- 8300 BLOCK ANNAPOLIS RD.-  OFFICERS RESPONDED TO THE LOCATION AFTER THE SERVICE MANAGER REPORTED A CUSTOMER TOOK THEIR VEHICLE WITHOUT PAYING THE MAINTENANCE BILL.  OFFICERS ADVISED THE SERVICE MANAGER THAT THE ISSUE WAS A CIVIL DISPUTE AND REFERRED HIM TO THE COURTS FOR SERVICES.

1436 HOURS- CHECK WELFARE- 7400 BLOCK FARMCREST DR.-   OFFICERS RESPONDED TO THE AREA FOR REPORT OF A MALE ACTING ERRATICALLY.   THE MALE WAS LOCATED, IDENTIFIED, CHECKED NEGATIVE, PHOTOGRAPHED, CLEARED BY P.G.F.D., THEN SENT ON HIS WAY. REPORT WRITTEN

1510 HOURS- FOUND PROPERTY- NCPD HQ- OFFICERS RESPONDED TO THE STATION AFTER A NON-RESIDENT CITIZEN LEFT THEIR CHECKBOOK IN THE FRONT LOBBY.  THE PROPERTY WAS SECURED AND ENTERED INTO NCPD PROPERTY FOR SAFEKEEPING. REPORT WRITTEN

1623 HOURS- PREMISE CHECK- 5400 BLOCK 85TH AVE.-  ALL CLEAR.

1830 Hrs., Suspicious Person / Jodie Street and Quentin Street (Intersection), An anonymous caller reported a Hispanic male operating a blue minivan possibly intoxicated and acting suspiciously. Officers responded and canvassed the area with nothing found.    
1945 Hrs., Premise Check / 8300 block Annapolis Road / all clear 
2103 Hrs., Property Damage / 5300 block 85th Avenue, Caller, reported he parked his car earlier on (08/22/2018), and everything was excellent, and upon his return same day, he observed minor damages to his vehicle. The caller was provided with the report number and advised to contact his insurance carrier for further assistance. REPORT WRITTEN

0657 Hours - Stolen Auto - 7700 Block of Riverdale Road: An unknown suspect stole the victim's vehicle during the overnight hours fleeing in an unknown direction. The victim was provided case numbers and advised to contact her insurance company. Report Written 0807 Hours - Suspicious Person - 7700 Block of Riverdale Rd: An unknown caller advised a male in gray was asleep under the stairwell unresponsive. Officers responded and made contact with the subject who advised he was on the bus all night and needed a place to sleep. The male checked negative for warrants and was sent on his way. Upon arrival, officers spoke with both drivers, who claimed no injuries while on the scene. Both vehicle was disabled in the roadway and impounded for safekeeping.
