0922 hrs Disorderly 5500 block Karen Elaine Drive/ Caller wanted guest removed from his residence; he was escorted without any incident. All clear no report

1107 hrs residential Alarm 7600 block Topton Street/ accidental by home owner all clear

1218 hrs Residential alarm 5500 block Karen Elaine Drive/ accidental by home owner everything checks clear. 

1220 hrs Welfare check 7600 block Fontaineblue drive/ Caller stated he wasn't feeling well, and he was transported to Doctors Hospital all clear. 

1420 hrs Disorderly 7700 block Riverdale Road/ Caller reported he heard his neighbors arguing and he wanted officers to check and make sure everything was ok.  Officers made contact with the neighbor who stated she was ok and refused police services. The neighbor showed no injuries or signs from an assault. All clear no report 

1450 hrs Disorderly 8400 block Annapolis Road/ Anonymous caller said, a male was standing outside with a megaphone playing loud music disturbing the peace of citizens walking by. He turned off the music, he was advised of the city noise ordinance, and no Loitering laws then sent on his way.

1500 hrs   Vehicle accident 7700 block Riverdale Road/ two-car accident, just property damages with no injuries. Information was exchanged. 

1530 hrs Premise check 8500 block Annapolis Road/ all clear. 

1600 hrs Theft 6400 block Inlet Street/ No theft verified, the caller wanted to report damage to his fence. Further, inspection revealed no damage, the caller informed. No report. 

1640 hrs Disorderly 8500 block Annapolis Road/ Hotel general manager wanted a guest removed. After the guest had been escorted, she wanted to report a theft that occurred on 06/25/17.  Report wrote

1750 hrs residential Alarm 5900 block 85th avenue/ accidental by home owner everything check clear no report.

1757 hrs 5900 blcok 85th Ave/ Alarm,  Officers checked the residence and found  all doors and windows were secure and no signs of forced entry.  No cause for activation was observed.

1820 hrs Business check/ Plaza 30, check clear.

1919 hrs 5900 block 87th Ave/ Identity Theft, caller stated he was notified by his bank of “insufficient funds” in his checking and savings accounts.  When he attempted to check into it they advised him they would start a claim but would not investigate it until a police report was filed.  Only information was two checks were cashed in New York, and the caller advised he has not been in New York and has no idea who may have done it.  All possible information was taken in order to start an investigation and Detective Sgt. Robinson was notified and the amount of the money missing is approximately $10,100.00.  The call is changed to a Fraud call.  Report Written

2030 hrs 6000 Block of Mentana St/ and the Pathway between Vera Cope Park and Powhatan St, Officers conducted a foot patrol in the area.  Citizens have been complaining about suspicious behavior, possible sale of drugs, gambling, and loitering of unknown persons, check clear.

2110 hrs Business check/ Metro Points Hotel, check clear.

2135 hrs School check/ Carrollton Elementary School, check clear.

2205 hrs Residential Check/ 8500 Block of Madison St, 5900 Block of 87th Ave, 8500 Block of Legation St., and Beckett Field, complaint of possible drug activity, suspicious vehicles in the area, illegal dumping, and vandalism to the street lights.  Officers checked the area with no signs of the listed.

2240 hrs 6000 Block of Harland St/ Residential check, 6000 block of Harland St and 6400 block of Inlet St./ citizen complaints of CDS use by male hanging out in the area and do not live there, check clear.

2300 hrs Park Check/ Wildercroft Park (Foot Patrol), check clear.

2330 hrs School check/ Robert Frost Elementary School, check clear.

2340 hrs New Carrollton City Pool/ Suspicious vehicle occupied, persons inside stated they were on their way back from the beach and just wanted to spend more time together before she had to drop her boyfriend off at his residence.  Both parties were checked with negative results, advised, and sent on their way.

0020 hrs Vera Cope Park/ Suspicious vehicle occupied, couple in the car were spending time together before having to drop the female half off at her residence.  Both parties were checked with negative results, advised, and sent on their way.

0105 hrs Residential check/ 5500 Block of Karen Elaine Dr. Citizens complaint of Suspicious Persons loitering in front of buildings and around the vehicles, check clear.

0125 hrs Business check/ Heritage Square Apartments, check clear.

0150 hrs Residential check/ 5300-5400 Block of 85th Ave, Citizens complaint of Suspicious Persons loitering in front of buildings and around the vehicles, check clear.

0220 hrs Business check/ 7-11, check clear.

0235 hrs Business check/ Plaza 30, check clear.

0305 hrs Business check/ Shell Gas station, check clear.

0315 hrs 6400 block Fairbanks St/ Animal complaint, caller stated her neighbors dogs have been barking for 17 minutes and she wants the area checked.  Officers checked the area and we removed the trespassing Cat that was bothering the dogs.  When officers left the dogs were quiet.

0340 hrs School check/ Charles Carroll Middle School, check clear.

0400 hrs Business check/ City of New Carrollton Pool, check clear.

0430 hrs Business check/ Carrollton Enterprise, check clear.

0542 hrs 7600 block Fountainebleau Dr/ Family Dispute, caller stated she had her son evicted in September 2016 and he is continuously returning and sleeping on her porch.  Today he was banging very loudly at her back door to use the bathroom at 0530 in the morning.  She has advised him to not be on the property several times and he continues to return.  Officers ran him through NCIC and he had an active warrant through Baltimore City.  Officers placed him under arrest and transported to DOC for processing.   

Day shift graciously took the arrest for us.
