0644 hrs Welfare check, 5300 block 85th Ave. A caller reported his Nephew called him and stated he was not feeling well. Upon officer’s arrival, the Nephew refused police and medical services. 

0845 Hrs Residential Alarm 5500 block Karen Elaine Drive/ all windows and doors secured, no sign of forced entry. Unknown reasons for activation; all clear no report. 

0900 hrs Welfare check/ Return Call 5300 block 85th Ave. Caller reported his nephew called again and stated he did not feel well. The nephew was then transported by Prince George’s County Ambulance 830 to Doctors for medical treatment.  All clear no report.  

0925 Hrs MPS 8300 block Stanwood Street, Upon arrival, officers met with  V-1 who reported at about 0400 hrs 06/18/2017 while sleeping; he heard seven to ten gunshots in the area and a vehicle accelerating at a high-speed. V-1 said at 0900 Hrs when he got up, he noticed a hole in his living room window and a bullet in the window frame. V-1 stated he was ok and refused medical attention. Det. Sgt. Robinson and Lt. Lyew were notified of this incident. Report generated

1212 hrs Premise check 5200-5400 Block of 85th Ave, Citizens complaint of Suspicious Persons loitering in front of buildings and around the vehicles, check clear.

1235 hrs Premise check, Harland St and Quentin Street, citizen allegations of CDS use by male hanging out in the area and do not live there, check clear.

1310 hrs Premise check 6000 Block of Mentana St and the Pathway between Vera Cope Park and Powhatan St, Officers conducted a foot patrol in the area.  Citizens have been complaining about suspicious behavior, the possible sale of drugs, gambling, and loitering of unknown persons, check clear.

1336 hrs Return call/Residential alarm 5500 block Karen Elaine Drive/ accidental by homeowner everything checked OK. 

1348 hrs Domestic 8600 block Preston Street, Caller reported she was involved in a domestic with her child's father in another jurisdiction; however, she did not want file report, and she just wanted to notify the police. All clear no report. 

1428 hrs Death Report 6200 block 86th Avenue for a death report. Upon arrival, officers made contact with the caller who stated she came home and found her husband unresponsive.  Engine 848 responded and pronounced D-1 deceased.  PGPD Homicide Detective (M93) and M.E. Graham notified. Austin funeral home services removed the deceased. No trauma or foul play observed on the scene. Notification made to NC4. Report

2130 hrs 6000 Block of Harland St/ Residential check, 6000 block of Harland St, citizen complaints of CDS use by male hanging out in the area and do not live there, check clear.

2207 hrs 7600 block Riverdale Rd/ Suspicious Person already left the area.  Caller stated he heard a knock at his daughter’s window and after several minutes he walked outside to check the area and approached a juvenile male standing across the street.  Caller stated he questioned the young man who stated it was not him who knocked on her window.  Caller stated he did not believe the juvenile but told him he needed to leave the area.  Caller was advised what actions he could take to prevent this from occurring again.  Officers canvassed the area but with the delay nothing was found.

2245 hrs Residential check/ 8600 block Preston St, check due to the male half being involved in a prior violent domestic and having a Protective order against him.  Check clear.

2315 hrs Business check/ Darcar's Dodge, check clear.

2330 hrs Residential check/ 5300-5400 Block of 85th Ave, Citizens complaint of Suspicious Persons loitering in front of buildings and around the vehicles, check clear.

2350 hrs Business check/ 7-11, check clear.

0015 hrs Residential Check/ 8500 Block of Madison St, 5900 Block of 87th Ave, 8500 Block of Legation St., and Beckett Field, complaint of possible drug activity, suspicious vehicles in the area, illegal dumping, and vandalism to the street lights.  Officers checked the area with no signs of the listed.

0040 hrs School check/ Robert Frost Elementary School, check clear.

0050 hrs 7600 block Riverdale Rd/ Check on welfare, caller stated they want us to go check on the children 12 yrs., 10 yrs. 8yrs, and 7 yrs.  No other information was left.  Officers finally made contact with the caller (who refused to give his name) who stated he just wants us to check to see if the children are there.  Officers asked several questions to find out if they are in danger or a custody order is in place.  He stated no danger and no custody order, he just thought you could call at any time and Officers would go check on them.  

0130 hrs Business check/ Metro Points Hotel; check clear.

0155 hrs 7700 block Riverdale Rd/ Missing Person, caller stated her 16 year old son was missing and she does not know where he would be.  Officers attempted to make contact with the caller by knocking loudly several times and called the call back number, with negative results.  Officers were not able to make contact with the caller at this time.  

0205 hrs 7-11/ Disorderly, Officers were flagged down by an intoxicated male having a problem with the taxi cab driver.  When speaking with the male he only wanted to talk to a Spanish Officer, with the assistance from Prince George's County Police we finally got the male to leave the location without incident.  

0220 hrs 7-11/Disorderly, Officers were flagged down by a taxi driver about a male in his taxi.  He stated the male was being rude and he just wants him out of his cab.  Officers got the male out of the cab and advised him the cab driver did not want him back in the cab.  Officers left to deal with the disorderly listed above and the cab driver let the male back in the cab because he was willing to pay him.  As they left the cab driver stopped the cab, got out, and began to yell at the male.  Officers again stopped the argument and the cab driver said as long as he paid him he would take him they were both sent on their way.

0657 Hours - Stolen Auto - 7700 Block of Riverdale Road: An unknown suspect stole the victim's vehicle during the overnight hours fleeing in an unknown direction. The victim was provided case numbers and advised to contact her insurance company. Officers responded and made contact with the subject who advised he was on the bus all night and needed a place to sleep. The male checked negative for warrants and was sent on his way. 0622  Hours -Premise Check-  8400 Block of Annapolis Rd: Officers checked the area for suspicious activity, but nothing was found. 0712  Hours -Premise Check-  8500 Block of Annapolis Rd: Officers checked the area for suspicious activity, but nothing was found. 0822 Hours -Accident- 8300 Block of Annapolis Rd: Officers responded to the listed location for a two-vehicle accident. Upon arrival, officers spoke with both drivers, who claimed no injuries while on the scene. Both vehicle was disabled in the roadway and impounded for safekeeping.
