0659 Accident/ 8600 block Annapolis Rd/ unlicensed & uninsured driver struck another vehicle while in motion. The driver was cited and vehicle was impounded

0829 Accident/ Annapolis Rd @ Veterans Pkwy parties exchanged info prior to arrival

0850 Disorderly/ 6100 block Lamont Dr. / students threw an egg on a teacher's vehicle. Incident will be handled via school administration

***While at the school, I spoke with the juvenile in reference to He was advised notification would be made to his mother.....(1433 MPS/ 5800 block Nystrom St kids throwing rocks, the mother will address the issue at the school. Report will be forwarded to SRO). 

0915 Found/ 6300 block 85th Ave/ complainant called earlier in reference to suspicious subjects. The complainant called back and requested to speak with an officer. While speaking with officer, property was recovered

1012 Residential Alarm/ 8300 block Oliver St/ front door alarm from the residence. The front door was secure, there were windows cracked in the rear. No other alarms while on scene

1030 Premise Check/ 5800 block Nystrom St/ follow up with the complainant in reference to the rock throwing incident. Cpl. Parker was advised 

1127 Traffic Complaint/ 6100 block 85th Pl/ traffic in the area was light. No citations issued

1200 Premise Check/ Plaza 30 & 85th Ave Apts. both were clear, no suspicious activity observed

1236 Accident/ 8400 blcok Annapolis Rd commercial vehicle and passenger vehicle 

1300 Traffic Assignment/ 6100 block Lamont Dr. last day of school for students. 

1417 Vandalism/ 7600 block Fontainebleau Dr. Caller complained their a/c unit was vandalized. Officer observed the unit and determined no vandalism had taken place

1445 Disorderly/ 8500 block Annapolis Rd/ customer had a dispute with the store. Parties were advised to work it out, not a police matter 

1525 Missing/ 6600 block Ian St/ no missing, brother and sister had a disagreement and the sister left the house

1630 Premise Check/ 8400 block Annapolis Rd business as usual

1703 Premise Check/ 7700 block Riverdale Rd business as usual

1800 Forman Mills/ Theft, Loss Prevention for the store had a couple of juveniles and an adult in their office for stealing items from the store.  Loss Prevention Officers stated they only wanted to get the information on the adult and ban him from the store.  The juveniles were younger siblings and released to an adult on scene.  

1806 Annapolis Rd and Ardwick Ardmore Blvd/ Vehicle accident, four vehicles were involved with minor damage and no injuries.  Information was exchanged by Officers to all parties involved.

1855 8400 block Annapolis Rd/ Disorderly person, caller stated a patron came into the business and got her nails done.  She was not satisfied with the results so she stood in the lobby and began to yell about wanting to hit the stylist across the face.  After several minutes the stylist called to have her removed from the business.  Offices arrived on scene and the female was gone prior to our arrival. 

1910 5200 block 85th Ave/ Hit and Run, caller stated he parked his vehicle in the parking lot last night and someone hit it.  He called insurance in the morning and they advised him to call us to report it.  Caller stated he did not have time and left for work.  At this time we have no scene to make a determination where the accident occurred, or what may have caused the damage.  The caller could not provide any further information for us, therefor he was advised.

1945 5300 Block of 85th Ave/ Suspicious person stop. Officers stopped a female matching the description of the female from the earlier incident.  Officers spoke with her and she stated yes it was her but she had a different version of what occurred.  Information was taken to complete the above incident report.

2010 6000 Block of Mentana St and the Pathway between Vera Cope Park and Powhatan St, Officers conducted a foot patrol in the area.  Citizens have been complaining about suspicious behavior, possible sale of drugs, gambling, and loitering of unknown persons, check clear.

2045 Residential check/ 8600 block Preston St/ check due to the male half being involved in a prior violent domestic and having a Protective order against him.  Check clear.

2125 8500 block Verona Dr. / Disorderly Persons, caller stated there were people still in the public pool.  Officers made entry into the pool area and searched with no signs of anyone being in the area.

2212 6500 block Lamont Dr. / Alarm, alarm from the basement window.  All doors and windows were checked and secure, no visible FAR.

2225 BoJangles/ Disorderly male, caller stated a male was sleeping on the bench and refused to get up to let them close the business.  Officers attempted to assist him and he proceeded to make himself fall to the ground and causing himself to open an old wound.  Male failed to obey officer’s orders and was placed under arrest.  As a precaution the male was taken to Prince George's County Hospital and admitted by doctors so a warrant will be issued for his arrest.

2305 Residential check/ 5300-5400 Block of 85th Ave, Citizens complaint of Suspicious Persons loitering in front of buildings and around the vehicles, check clear.

2325 7700 block Riverdale Rd/ Domestic disturbance, caller spoke Spanish so once Officers arrived we asked for assistance from County for language.  Once they arrived on scene it was discovered that the female half was receiving text messages from other males and the male half got upset.  She stated he was calling her names and it hurt her feelings.  Both parties were advised and there was no physical altercation just name calling.

0010 Residential Check/ 8500 Block of Madison St, 5900 Block of 87th Ave, 8500 Block of Legation St., and Beckett Field, complaint of possible drug activity, suspicious vehicles in the area, illegal dumping, and vandalism to the street lights.  Officers checked the area with no signs of the listed.

0050 Business check/ Plaza 30, check clear.  

0120 Business check/ City of New Carrollton Pool, check clear.

0200 Business check/ Darcar's Dodge, check clear.  

0249 5500 block Karen Elaine Dr. / Suspicious Person call, caller stated an unknown male was knocking at her door.  Officers arrived on scene to find a male sitting on the steps in the hallway with medical paperwork and a boot on his foot.  He stated he was in pain and wanted to go to the hospital.  He used to live in the building and it was the last place he knew to come back to.  Handled by fireboard that transported him to Prince George's County Hospital.

0340 5400 block 85th Ave/ Loud noise, caller stated they could hear a loud noise coming from the apartment upstairs.  There was no caller information.  Officers searched the building and could find nothing.

0400 Business check/ Darcar's Dodge, check clear.

0430 Residential check/ 8600 block Preston St, check due to the male half being involved in a prior violent domestic and having a Protective order against him.  Check clear.

0445 6000 Block of Harland St/ Residential check, 6000 block of Harland St, citizen complaints of CDS use by male hanging out in the area and do not live there, check clear.

0500 Business check/ Darcar's Dodge, check clear.

0520 Business check/ Shell Gas station, check clear.

0530 Business check/ 7-11, check clear.

0657 Hours - Stolen Auto - 7700 Block of Riverdale Road: An unknown suspect stole the victim's vehicle during the overnight hours fleeing in an unknown direction. The victim was provided case numbers and advised to contact her insurance company. Report Written 0807 Hours - Suspicious Person - 7700 Block of Riverdale Rd: An unknown caller advised a male in gray was asleep under the stairwell unresponsive. Officers responded and made contact with the subject who advised he was on the bus all night and needed a place to sleep. The male checked negative for warrants and was sent on his way. 0622  Hours -Premise Check-  8400 Block of Annapolis Rd: Officers checked the area for suspicious activity, but nothing was found. 0712  Hours -Premise Check-  8500 Block of Annapolis Rd: Officers checked the area for suspicious activity, but nothing was found. 0822 Hours -Accident- 8300 Block of Annapolis Rd: Officers responded to the listed location for a two-vehicle accident. Upon arrival, officers spoke with both drivers, who claimed no injuries while on the scene. Both vehicle was disabled in the roadway and impounded for safekeeping.
