0625 Theft from Auto/ 5400 block 85th Ave unknown suspect(s) stole four tires from a vehicle parked in the parking lot. The victim was located and responded to the vehicle 

0750 Premise Check/ 8500 block Annapolis Rd business as usual

0840 Premise Check/ Mentana St to include the park and surrounding streets. No issues or suspicious activity observed

0855 ACRS-Pedestrian Struck/ 7700 block Annapolis Rd male was walking across the street. When he was struck in the crosswalk

1000 Premise Check/ 85th Ave Apts area was clear, no suspicious activity observed

1010 Theft from Auto/ 5200 block 85th Ave unknown suspect smashed the passenger window and stole the handicap placard and fled in an unknown direction. The victim did not have any information on the handicap placard

1022 Juvenile/ 8400 block Annapolis Rd three juveniles were observed sitting on the side of the location dividing food. All juveniles are known to the officer for issues in the past. One juvenile had marijuana in his backpack. All juveniles were transported to their schools and released to staff. All juveniles will be charged accordingly

1230 Premise Check/ 8500 block Annapolis Rd business as usual, no suspicious activity observed

1345 Premise Check/ 7700 block Riverdale Rd area was clear, no suspicious activity observed

1520 MPS/ 6100 block Lamont Dr student stated they wanted to hurt themselves. Administration couldn't reach the parent, per guidelines contacted the police. Contact was made with the parent, who responded to the school and picked up the child 

1640 Premise Check/ 87th Ave presence made due to dirt bikes and speeding vehicles. Nothing was observed


1729 hrs., 6000 block Mentana St/ Burglary, caller stated his shed was broken into on May 17th, he noticed several power tools were missing.  The shed was unlocked and reported several days later.  


1845 hrs., Residential Check/ Heritage Square Apartments, check clear.

1905 hrs., Residential check/ 5300-5400 Block of 85th Ave, Citizens complaint of Suspicious Persons loitering in front of buildings and around the vehicles, check clear.

1934 hrs., Business check/ Lowe's Home Improvement (Foot Patrol), check clear.

2010 hrs., Residential check/ 5500 block of Karen Elaine Dr, Citizens complaint of Suspicious Persons loitering in front of buildings and around the vehicles, check clear.

2050 hrs., 6000 Block of Mentana St and the Pathway between Vera Cope Park and Powhatan St, Officers conducted a foot patrol in the area.  Citizens have been complaining about,  suspicious behavior, possible sale of drugs, gambling, and loitering of unknown persons, check clear.

2129 hrs., 5300 block 85th Ave/ Burglary call, caller stated they left the residence in the afternoon and secured the door and all the windows.  But when they walked around the apartment they noticed several items missing.  While Officers searched the residence for evident purposes, they noticed the back bedroom screen was open and the window un-secure.


2137 hrs., 6400 block 85th Ave./ Unknown Trouble, Officers made contact with the owner of the residence who stated there was not anyone there who called 911.  Officers checked and checked the residence (due to prior Domestic Violence history) with nothing found.  Officers continued to search the area around the above listed address, with negative results

2222 hrs., 7700 block Riverdale Rd #203/ Hit and Run, caller stated his vehicle was damaged in the parking lot of the apartment complex by unknown means.  Caller stated the incident occurred a couple days ago and there was no evidence to assist Officers in the investigation of what may have occurred.  Caller was advised.

2300 hrs., 5400 block 85th Ave 3rd Floor/ Loud Music Complaint, caller stated there was loud music coming from the 3rd Floor.  Officer's checked the area with no sound of loud music.

2330 hrs., Residential Check/ 8500  Block of Harland St, Citizens complaining of Suspicious Persons loitering in the area, being disorderly, and being loud late at night, check clear.

2350 hrs., Residential Check/ 8500 Block of Madison St, 5900 Block of 87th Ave, 8500 Block of Legation St., and Beckett Field, complaint of possible drug activity, suspicious vehicles in the area, illegal dumping, and vandalism to the street lights.  Officers checked the area with no signs of the listed.

0010 hrs., School Check/ Charles Carroll Middle School, check clear.

0030 hrs., 6000 Block of Mentana St and the Pathway between Vera Cope Park and Powhatan St, Officers conducted a foot patrol in the area.  Citizens have been complaining about,  suspicious behavior, possible sale of drugs, gambling, and loitering of unknown persons, check clear.

0050 hrs., School Check/ Carrollton Elementary School, check clear.

0115 hrs., 5400 block 85th Ave/ Loud Music Complaint, caller stated they could hear neighbors being loud, area was checked nothing found.

0135 hrs., Residential check/ 5500 block of Karen Elaine Dr, Citizens complaint of Suspicious Persons loitering in front of buildings and around the vehicles, check clear.

0150 hrs., Residential check/ 5300-5400 Block of 85th Ave, Citizens complaint of Suspicious Persons loitering in front of buildings and around the vehicles, check clear.

0208 hrs., 6100 Block of Westbrook Dr./ Traffic stop, stop completed without incident.

0230 hrs., Business Check/ Darcar's Dodge, check clear.

0250 hrs., 6700 block Sunset Terrace/ Parking complaint, caller stated there was a house party and it was spilling into the street.  Officers made contact with the homeowner and asked his guests to move the vehicles from blocking the roadway.  All persons were quiet and cooperative and they moved their vehicles.

0325 hrs., Business Check/ Darcar's Dodge, check clear.

0335 hrs., Business Check/ 7-11, check clear.

0340 hrs., Fairborne Terrace and Spargue Place/ Unknown Trouble with an open line.  Call taker could hear yelling and a dog barking.  No specific address just located in the general vicinity.  Area checked by Officers and nothing found.

0400 hrs., 77th St and Emerson St/ Assist Prince George's County Police with a Suicidal female.  Caller stated she wanted to jump in front of a car and kill herself.  Officers searched the area to include the Park with nothing found.  Officers made contact with the caller by phone and after several minutes of her uncooperative behavior, talked her into going to the hospital for an evaluation  She was also given information for the Crisis Center.  Caller refused to give Officers her address or her name when we asked her she would hang up.  

0440 hrs., 7700 block Riverdale Rd #T-3/ Missing Person, caller stated she wanted to report her 16 year old son missing because he never came home last night.  Officers knocked on the door with no answer and when Communications attempted to contact her back, there was no answer.  Officers cleared with no ability to contact the caller.  

0510 hrs., Business Check/ 7-11, check clear.

0527 hrs., 6404 Lamont Dr/ Residential Alarm, Doors and windows checked and secure, unknown cause for activation.

0657 Hours - Stolen Auto - 7700 Block of Riverdale Road: An unknown suspect stole the victim's vehicle during the overnight hours fleeing in an unknown direction. The victim was provided case numbers and advised to contact her insurance company. Report Written 0807 Hours - Suspicious Person - 7700 Block of Riverdale Rd: An unknown caller advised a male in gray was asleep under the stairwell unresponsive. Officers responded and made contact with the subject who advised he was on the bus all night and needed a place to sleep. The male checked negative for warrants and was sent on his way. 0645 Hours -Premise Check- 8400 Block of Annapolis Rd: Officers checked the area for suspicious activity, but nothing was found. 0722 Hours -Premise Check- 8500 Block of Annapolis Rd: Officers checked the area for suspicious activity, but nothing was found. 0813 Hours -Vandalism- 7900 Block of Legation Rd: Officers responded to the listed location for the vandalism of a vehicle. Officers spoke with the caller who stated his vehicle had been broken into. Officers gathered all information needed and generated a report.  Report Written 1028 Hours -Disorderly- 8500 Block of Annapolis Rd: Officers responded to the listed location for a disorderly male. Upon the officers' arrival, the male subject was GOA.  No Report 1134 Hours -Theft- 7700 Block of Riverdale Rd: Officers responded to the listed location for theft.
