0720 Welfare Check/ 5300 block 85th Ave male was sleeping in the hallway. He was recently homeless due to issues with his mother. He advised he was in the woods in the rain. Subject also made statements he wanted to die due to relationship and family issues. He agreed to speak with a professional and was EPS by EMS 

0917 Family Dispute/ 7500 block Riverdale Rd teenage son was mad at his mother for not waking him up and taking him to school

0935 Premise Check/ 8300 block Quintana St assisted with Career Day

1122 BURGLARY/ 7300 block GOOD LUCK RD unknown suspects gained entry into the residence through an unlocked door. While inside they stole televisions. The homeowner arrived and while the burglars were inside the residence. The suspects fled in a Gray Nissan Murano with Temp Tag.  

1345 VANDALISM/ 5400 block 85TH AVE #1 unknown suspect attempted to gain entry into the front door by using an unknown prying tool 

1400 Crossing Guard/ Westbrook Dr & Powhatan St assisted children crossing the street

1412 Stolen Auto/ 6300 block 85th Pl incident occurred outside of jurisdiction. Handled by PGPD

1500 Premise Check/ 8300 block Annapolis Rd business were operating normal, no issues observed

1530 Assist/ 7800 block Riverdale Rd assisted PGPD with a traffic stop to identify a driver. Stop was handled by WAVE who responded to the scene

1620 Accident/ 85th Ave at Longfellow St parties exchanged information

1753 hrs., 8100 block Quentin St./ Theft, caller stated her sons cell phone was taken.  Once on scene officers talked to the caller and she stated her son set his phone down and walked away from it, when he returned for it, it was gone.  Caller wanted to report it stolen but when asked she stated it happened in Greenbelt.  Caller stated she called Greenbelt Police but they would not help her and she wanted us to tell her why.  She was advised.

1820 hrs., Annapolis Rd and Veterans Hwy/ Hit and Run, caller stated the driver behind him hit him and drove off.  When Officers arrived both parties were on scene and Officers exchanged information between parties.

1900 hrs., Business check/ CVS Pharmacy, check clear.

1940 hrs., Business check/ Carrollton Enterprise (Foot Patrol), check clear.

2010 hrs.,  Residential check/ 5300-5400 Block of 85th Ave, Citizens complaint of Suspicious Persons loitering in front of buildings and around the vehicles, check clear.

2045 hrs., Residential check/ 5500 block of Karen Elaine Dr, Citizens complaint of Suspicious Persons loitering in front of buildings and around the vehicles, check clear.

2130 hrs., Residential check/ Heritage Square Apartments, check clear.

2145 hrs., Lamont Dr and Westbrook Dr/ Traffic stop, stop completed without incident.

2200 hrs., 6000 Block of Mentana St and the Pathway between Vera Cope Park and Powhatan St, Officers conducted a foot patrol in the area.  Citizens have been complaining about suspicious behavior, possible sale of drugs, gambling, and loitering of unknown persons, check clear.

2225 hrs., Harkins Dr and Annapolis Rd/ Suspicious Person, caller stated a Latino male dressed in a mechanics uniform walked up to his vehicle and tapped on the window, the male proceeded with yelling, "You can't do that."  Officers canvased the area with nothing found.

2256 hrs., 6000 Block of Harland St/ Residential check, 6000 block of Harland St, citizen complaints of CDS use by male hanging out in the area and do not live there, check clear.

2330 hrs., Residential Check/ 8500 Block of Madison St, 5900 Block of 87th Ave, 8500 Block of Legation St., and Beckett Field, complaint of possible drug activity, suspicious vehicles in the area, illegal dumping, and vandalism to the street lights.  Officers checked the area with no signs of the listed.

2356 hrs., 7700 block Riverdale Rd/ Loud Music, Officers were able to hear it coming up to the building. It was so loud.  After speaking with the neighbor Officers attempted to knock on the door to speak with the resident, but there was no answer.  Officers tried several more times, with negative results.  While attempting to speak to the resident, another call came out.  Officers left this scene to take the other more serious call first.

0015 hrs., 7800 block Riverdale Rd/ Property damage,  Officers arrived on scene to the caller stating the woman does not live here and she broke my window.  Officers spoke to the woman who stated the male half was attempting to kick her out and she did not have the key.  When speaking to the male half, he stated he was in the process of having her evicted but did not have the paperwork yet but he wanted to know who would be responsible to pay for the broken door, he was advised.  The property manager was notified of the incident and maintenance responded to fix the window.  **Officers were given the incorrect address and the male half on the phone with Communications, it took Officers extra time to find the correct location**

0035 hrs., Return to 7700 block Riverdale Rd, at this time the resident had turned the music down, shut the balcony sliding glass door, and gone to bed.  We spoke to the neighbor who stated he would speak to the office in the morning.

0111 hrs., 5400 block 85th Ave/ Child Custody, caller stated the Mother of his baby and he had an argument and she always leaves to go places without the child.  Today they had an argument and she left him with the child.  He stated he has custody of the child but could not find the paperwork and was willing to give the child to the Mother.  Mother stated she wanted the child since she was packed and ready to move out, due to the terrible relationship, she claims they have.  She wanted the child but if he did not want to give her the child she said he could keep her.  Finally after several minutes the male half gave the child to Officers to give to the Mother and he left the area.  Child was safe and being taken care of by the Mother now.

0145 hrs., Residential check/ 5300-5400 Block of 85th Ave, Citizens complaint of Suspicious Persons loitering in front of buildings and around the vehicles, check clear.

0230 hrs., Business check/ Plaza 30, check clear.

0250 hrs., Business check/ 7-11, check clear.

0300 hrs., Business check/ Darcar's Dodge, check clear.

0315 hrs., Business check/ Metro Points Hotel, check clear.

0340 hrs., Business check/ Shell Gas station, check clear.  

0400 hrs., Business check/ Darcar's Dodge, check clear.

0405 hrs., 5300 block 85th/ Theft from auto call, caller stated all 4 four tires on his vehicle were stolen.  They were stolen sometime during the night.

0415 hrs., Residential check/ 5500 block of Karen Elaine Dr, Citizens complaint of Suspicious Persons loitering in front of buildings and around the vehicles, check clear.

0445 hrs., Annapolis Rd and Veterans Pkwy/ Accident, both vehicles were disabled and airbags were deployed.  No injuries to either driver and Annapolis Rd was shut down for approximately 30 minutes, due to one vehicle being disabled in the middle of the road.  Both vehicles were impounded, Prince George's teletype was called and the vehicles were entered.

0657 Hours - Stolen Auto - 7700 Block of Riverdale Road: An unknown suspect stole the victim's vehicle during the overnight hours fleeing in an unknown direction. The victim was provided case numbers and advised to contact her insurance company. 0645 Hours -Premise Check- 8400 Block of Annapolis Rd: Officers checked the area for suspicious activity, but nothing was found. 0722 Hours -Premise Check- 8500 Block of Annapolis Rd: Officers checked the area for suspicious activity, but nothing was found. 0813 Hours -Vandalism- 7900 Block of Legation Rd: Officers responded to the listed location for the vandalism of a vehicle. Officers spoke with the caller who stated his vehicle had been broken into. Officers gathered all information needed and generated a report.  Report Written 1028 Hours -Disorderly- 8500 Block of Annapolis Rd: Officers responded to the listed location for a disorderly male. Upon the officers' arrival, the male subject was GOA.  No Report 1134 Hours -Theft- 7700 Block of Riverdale Rd: Officers responded to the listed location for theft.
