1009 hrs. Property Damage - 5900 block Westbrook Terr.  Officers were dispatched to the listed location for a past breaking and entering. Upon arrival, it was determined that only the back glass door had been shattered. The homeowner was not on the scene and was advised that if they wanted a report, they would need to be home to do so. No report.

 

1044 hrs. Traffic Complaint - 6100 block Lamont Dr. Officers were dispatched to the listed location for a vehicle blocking the driveway. Officers arrived on the scene and spoke with the vehicle owner who moved their vehicle. No report.

1341 hrs. Suspicious Auto - Arehard Dr and Karen Elaine Dr. While on routine patrol, officers observed a vehicle with expired registration and issued a parking ticket. 

 

1346 hrs. Accident - 7800 block Riverdale Rd. Officers were dispatched to the listed location for an accident. Upon arrival, both vehicles were able to be driven and no one claimed any injuries. A driver's exchange was completed. 

 

1411 hrs. Accident - 8400 block Annapolis Rd. Officers were dispatched to the listed location for an accident. Upon arrival, both vehicles were able to be driven and no one claimed any injuries. A driver exchange was completed. 

 

1429 hrs. Theft - 5300 block 85th Ave. Officers were dispatched to the listed location for a past theft. Upon arrival, officers met with the complainant and who stated they just wanted case numbers. Case numbers were provided. No report. 

 

1440 hrs. Suspicious Auto - 7700 block Riverdale Rd. While on routine patrol, officers observed a vehicle that was parked in an open area behind the shopping plaza for multiple days. The vehicle was given a 48-hour notice to move from the location before the vehicle would become impounded. 

 

1444 hrs. Found Property - 7700 block Riverdale Rd. While on routine patrol, officers observed a blue backpack in a shed. The backpack was placed into NCPD property for safekeeping. Report written

 

1454 hrs. Lost Property - 5400 block 85th Ave. Officers were dispatched to the listed location for an individual who wanted to make a lost property report about her passport. Officers advised the individual to go to the Embassy to obtain papers in order to get a new passport. The caller was advised to use the reference numbers that were previously provided on 4/6/21. No report. 

 

1531 hrs. Notification/Assist Other Agency - 5300 block 85th Ave. Officers were dispatched to the listed location for a notification/assist other agencies. Officers were able to provide the other agency with the information they needed. No report

 

1610 hrs. Accident - Annapolis Rd and Riverdale Rd. Officers were dispatched to the listed location for an accident. Prior to the officer's arrival, both parties had already left. Prince Georges County Police Communications contacted the complainant who advised that a driver's exchange was completed. No report.

 

1641 hrs. Theft - 8400 block Annapolis Rd. Officers were dispatched to the listed location for theft. Officers canvassed the surrounding areas with negative results. The store asked for case numbers for inventory purposes and refused any other police services. No report. 

 

1716 hrs. Disorderly - 8400 block Annapolis Rd.  Officers were dispatched to the listed location for a disorderly individual not wanting to leave the store. Upon arrival, the individual had already cleared the area. No report. 

 

1733hrs. Hit and Run - 7600 block Fontainebleau Dr. Officers were dispatched to the listed location for a hit and run. Officers provided the owner of the vehicle case numbers and advised him to contact the insurance company. Report written

 

1805 hrs., 7700 block Riverdale Rd/ Disorderly, caller stated his roommate threw his belongings out of the residence while he was gone.  Officers arrived and noticed the caller’s belongings on the balcony and the caller stated nothing was missing or damaged.  Officers then spoke to the roommate who stated they were having an inspection today of the apartment and the roommate had not been home in several days.  They were both advised, it was a civil matter.  No Report.

2006 hrs., 5500 block Karen Elaine Dr/ Stolen Auto, caller stated she parked her vehicle in the parking lot last night but when she arrived home around 1630 hours she observed the vehicle was not there.  When officers began to gather the information for the vehicle tag, it was run through NCIC.  The response came back with the vehicle was impounded last night at an unknown time by Greg's Towing, the caller was advised.  No Report.

0150 hrs., 7-11/ Caller was the store employee who stated when they asked a customer to pay for his items, he refused and started yelling and threw water on the counter.  The water was all over the counter and in front of the counter.  The employee believed the money collection box may have been damaged by the water due to it not working now.  A report was taken and officers will find out in the morning, when the Manager comes in, if the box was damaged and how exactly.  Report written

0332 hrs., 6000 block Westbrook Dr/ Disorderly, caller stated his stepfather was knocking at their door to let him in.  When officers arrived the area was searched with negative results.  Officers then spoke to the caller who stated his stepfather moved out about a month ago, but was intoxicated tonight in an attempt to have his family let him inside.  Officers were shown areas were the stepfather made entry previous times, to reassure the caller and his mother that they were safe.  They were advised on what action to take to keep him out of the house.  No Report.
