0730 Hours- Suspicious Unoccupied Vehicle- 8500 block 86^th Ct. Officers observed a commercial vehicle committing a parking violation. Officers issued the appropriate citation. No report

 

0820 Hours - Premise Check-5800 block of Westbrook Dr. Checked clear.

1100 hours-Theft- 8400 block Mentana St. - Caller advised someone stole the front tag off of his vehicle. It could not be determined where the tag was taken from. Caller was provided with case numbers. No report

1330Hours -Accident- 8400 block Annapolis Rd. Officers assisted with exchanging information with two parties that struck each other in the parking lot . No report

1630 Hours- Unknown Trouble -7600 block Fontainebleau Dr. Dispatch advised the caller gave this address and hung up. Officers made contact with a male that advised his son had friends over and he asked them to leave. The problem party had left before officers arrived on the scene. No report 

 

1650 Hours- Theft- 7700 block Riverdale Rd. Loss Prevention advised a male stole from the store a few weeks ago. The caller was requesting case number to take to the Commissioner’s Office. Case numbers were provided. No report

2000 hrs., New Carrollton Liquors/ Disorderly, caller was the manager who stated that there was a male sleeping in his store.  When he asked him to leave he refused, but after several minutes the male left the store but stayed out in front yelling at people.  When officers arrived he stated he needed the ambulance for his finger bleeding.  The male was transported to the hospital for treatment. Report written

 

2039 hrs., 7700 block Riverdale Rd/ Theft, caller stated she took several boxes to her vehicle and left them outside the vehicle to go and pack some more.  When she returned several minutes later the boxes were gone.  She did not see anyone take them nor could she locate any witness as to what may have happened to them.  She stated the items she could remember exactly in the boxes was her daughters IPad and her social security card.  Officers gathered the information and advised her to make a list and contact us when she can remember all of the other items.  Officers told her to contact Apple assistance to see if they were able to set her up with the find my iPad app in order to possibly locate that item.  Report written

 

2057 hrs., 6600 block Chestnut Ave/ Alarm, alarm company stated the alarm was coming from a rear door.  Officers checked all doors and windows and they were secure.  While officers were about to leave the homeowner arrived home and he stated he would check the house but if it was all secure there should be no issue.  He checked and nothing seemed disturbed.  No Report.

2215 hrs., 5200 block 85th Ave/ Disorderly, caller stated there were males in the basement of the building smoking CDS.  Officers arrived and located the males sitting in the basement.  There were no signs of CDS and the males were advised.  No Report.

 

2230 hrs., 7700 block Riverdale Rd/ Domestic, caller stated she could hear arguing and a baby crying for the last 2 hours.  She believed there was a domestic going on in the apartment above her.  Officers checked all the apartments and there were no children, nor were any couple arguing recently.  We attempted to contact the caller for more information but the apartment number given was not in the building and there was no answer on callback.  No Report.

2350 hrs., 7400 block Leahy Rd/ Notification, caller was an elderly female who was attempting to locate her home nurse.  She stated he was not answering his phone, his lives at this address and she needed medical attention.  Officers asked to make sure she did not need the ambulance until we could attempt contact, but she stated she did not need it just him to come to her residence.  Officers attempted to make contact, but the home nurse does not live there anymore.  The male there did have information to contact him so he did and was able to get in touch with him.  He stated he was asleep and would contact her as soon as he got off of the phone.  No Report.

0230 hrs., Metro Points Hotel/ Check on welfare, caller stated she booked a room at the hotel but they have no reservation under her name.  Officers located her and she stated she was homeless and booked a room but the reservation was never made with the hotel.  She was advised it was a civil matter she would have to take up with the booking company.  She then asked where she can go because she is homeless, we attempted locations, however all locations are not housing people now due to COVID or they are full.  No Report.

 

0250 hrs., 5500 block Karen Elaine Dr/ Noise complaint, caller stated there was loud music coming from a dark sedan in the parking lot.  Officers checked the area with nothing found.  No Report.
