1230 hours- Traffic stop- 7800 block Riverdale Rd. Officers observed a traffic violation and cited the driver.

1415 hours- Theft- 7700 block Riverdale Rd. Dispatched advised Loss Prevention had a male detained that attempted to steal $750 worth of merchandise. The male was taken into custody and transported to Upper Marlboro CDC without incident. Report written

 

1500hours - Accident- 7700 block of Annapolis Rd. Unit one was crossing over Annapolis Road from a side street. Unit two was traveling west bound on Annapolis Road. Unit two struck unit one in the passenger’s side door. Both vehicles were inoperable. Tinos Towing responded. Report written

 

1550 hours- Stalking- 5300 block 85th Ave - Call was handled via telephone. Female advised that she keeps seeing two males from her old neighborhood. She was advised. No report

 

1600 hours- Missing person- 5900 block Mentana St. Female caller advised her daughter has been missing since 1600 hours on 4/15/21. After entering the missing into NCIC officers were advised the missing was in the custody of Virginia police. NC3 notified. Report written

 

1647 hours- Check welfare- Annapolis Rd./ 85th Ave. Caller advised a male was walking on Annapolis Road about to fall in the street. Officers canvassed the area with negative results. No report

 

1710 hours- Disorderly- 8500 block Annapolis Rd. Manager advised that guest in room 807 were refusing to vacate the room. Officers spoke with the guest and they left. No report 

 

1800 hrs., 5300 block 85th Ave/ Stolen Vehicle, caller stated while a female was inside cleaning her residence, her vehicle was stolen.  The caller was translating for the victim, who stated she parked her vehicle in the lot to go into the apartment to clean.  3 hours later when she came out the vehicle was gone.  Report written

2100 hrs., Advance Auto/ 911 hang up call, call taker stated there was a call from the area of the business but the caller hung up prior to any information gathered.  The call taker called back and a female hung up again prior to any information being gathered.  Officers arrived and spoke to the manager who stated a male was inside just before closing asking questions and looking around to prevent them from closing.  The manager is unsure but believes the male may have stolen something.  A description was given to officers and a search of the area was conducted with negative results.  No Report.

0205 hrs., 5500 block Karen Elaine Dr/ Dispute, caller stated he was a tow truck driver who was attempting to tow an illegally parked vehicle when the owner began to argue with him.  The driver had hooked the vehicle onto the tow truck when the owner began to yell to stop he was illegally towing the vehicle.  The female was refusing to pay the drop fee to the tow truck driver.  Officers spoke to both parties and advised the female the tow truck driver had the right to tow her vehicle it was not properly parked.  The tow truck driver accepted the payment to drop the vehicle and the owner received her vehicle back.  No Report.

 

0255 hrs., 7600 block Fountainebleau Dr/ CDS complaint, caller stated his neighbor was smoking CDS and he wanted officers to tell him to stop.  Officers contacted the caller, like he requested, and advised him what action he needed to take.  No Report.
