Upon arrival, it was determined that the complainant had moved out of the apartment on 4/1/21, making the incident a landlord/tenant issue. The caller was advised to seek further assistance through landlord-tenant court. No report.

1745 hrs., 5300 block 85th Ave/ Assisted daywork, officers assisted daywork with an arrest and transport to DOC.

 

1839 hrs., 5800 block Nystrom St/ Residential alarm, caller was the alarm company who stated there was an alarm coming from this residence.  Officers checked the residence and spoke to the homeowner who stated it was a malfunctioning contact.  No Report.

 

1855 hrs., 7800 block Riverdale Rd/ Dispute, caller stated her roommate locked the top lock and stated to the caller that she was not ready to unlock the door and allow her back in.  Officers finally spoke to the roommate and advised her she was not legally allowed to lock her out and she had to allow her access.  She was advised what action she could correctly take if it was a civil matter of owing her the rent.  No Report.

 

1905 hrs., 7700 block Riverdale Rd/ Missing documents, caller stated she believed her father may have stolen her documents.  Officers spoke with the caller and discovered the documents were lost outside our jurisdiction at the residence of her father.  She was advised what she could do.  No Report.

 

1920 hrs., 5300 block 85th Ave/ Suspicious vehicle occupied, caller stated there were individuals in the vehicle parked out behind the building.  Caller stated it was illegal to park there and they did not believe they lived in the building.  Officers located the vehicle and spoke to the occupants who were just talking and lived in the building.  They were advised, No Report.

 

1935 hrs., 5300 block 85th Ave/ Fraud, caller states she bought a vehicle from a tow yard.  The seller told her she only needed brakes and roaders, but when she talked to the mechanic he told her she needed almost $3000 in repairs.  The caller felt she was frauded by the tow lot, she was advised it was a civil matter and what action she needed to take.  No Report.

 

1945 hrs., 8400 block Annapolis Rd/ Found Property, caller stated she found a wallet in the parking lot.  The caller stated they could not wait around but left the wallet with the business, however the caller gave officers the incorrect address previously.  Report written

2040 hrs., 5800 block Lamont Dr/ Alarm, caller was the alarm company who stated the alarm was coming from a door.  Officers checked all doors and windows and they were locked and secured, unknown cause of activation at this time.  No Report

 

2053 hrs., 5300 block 85th Ave/ Unknown trouble, caller stated there was a female on her balcony yelling for help.  Officers arrived and checked the area with negative results.  Officers then attempted to contact the caller for more specific apartment and they hung up on officers proving no further information.  Officers were unable to locate the female, No Report.

2322 hrs., 8300 block Annapolis Rd/ Suspicious person armed, caller stated he was security for the business and while attempting to throw a patron out of the establishment they brandished a gun at him.  Security guard was able to grab the suspect and escort them out of the business with no issues.  The male then got into a vehicle and leave the scene.  Officers canvassed for the vehicle and has assistance from Guardian 1, with negative results.  Report written

0500 hrs., 5400 block 85th Ave/ Unknown trouble, caller stated she could hear a female screaming from the building behind.  Officers observed and were able to hear some loud sounds.  While officers were approaching a female asked what was going on, as officers were in the building she approached them and stood there.  Officers asked her if she needed any assistance or if she was the person yelling.  She stood there swaying back and forth and officers could smell the alcoholic beverage emanating from her person.  Again officers asked what they could assist with when she then began to say her boyfriend beats her all the time and she is tired of it.  When asked about tonight she stated the incident happened in a club in Bladensburg.  She was advised what she needed to do since the incident did not occur in our jurisdiction.  No Report.
