0550 hrs., 5200 block 85th Ave/ Suspicious person, caller stated there was a male sleeping in the stairwell of the building.  Officers located the male and advised him about trespass and sent him on his way.  No Report.

0930 hrs., 5300 block 85th Ave/ Neighbor Dispute, Caller stated his neighbor was sending him threatening texts.  When officers arrived the caller was not on scene and officers attempted to call him several times with no answer.  Officers spoke with the wife and advised her what he can do, with what little information we had., No Report.

1225 hrs., 5900 block 89th Ave/ Landlord Tenant, the caller, the landlord, stated he wanted the persons living in his house to vacate.  He stated he lives in Huston but allowed his friend to live there, however his friend brought another person in the house and he was upset.  The caller attempted to throw the tenants items out, and was advised he was unable to do that.  He was advised on what action he could legally take to remove the tenants from his residence.  No Report.

 

1300 hrs., Metro Points Hotel/ Suspicious person, officers, while on patrol observed a female sleeping beside the parking garage.  Officers checked on her and advised her she had to leave the area.  No Report.

 

1330 hrs., Premise Check/ Beckett Field and Hanko Building, check clear.

 

1345 hrs., 8300 block Donoghue Dr/ Check on Welfare, caller was a crisis center and stated the caller told her she took several pills yesterday.  Officers arrived and spoke to the caller and the female who stated she wanted to go to the hospital for an evaluation.  Due to the female wanting to get help she was voluntary and handled by Fireboard.  No Report.

 

1430 hrs., Premise Check/ Shops at New Carrollton, check clear.

 

1510 hrs., 7700 block Vicar St/ Missing Child, caller advised her 5 year old daughter was missing from the house and was last seen 30 minutes ago.  Officers checked the residence with negative results.  As officers were looking for the child her Aunt called the mother stating she was with her.  The Aunt brought the child back with no issues.  The Aunt did not hear anyone when she yelled who was home so she took the child thinking she was home alone.  Her family was inside but did not hear her yell over the noise.  No Report.

 

1541 hrs. 7600 block Vicar St/ Family Dispute, caller was the father who was yelling at the son and daughter for not doing chores in the house.  The father feels the son should move out and the daughter did not need her hair done.  The father agreed to let the daughter go to her room to cool down and the son left to cool down.  No Report.

 

1600 hrs., 8600 block Annapolis Rd/ Family dispute, caller stated she and her grandmother got into an argument.  When officers arrived they spoke to all parties and advised them what action they needed to take to assist the grandmother with her illness.  No Report.

 

1709 hrs., 8600 block Annapolis Rd/ Family dispute, caller stated her son was acting up and wanted him out of the house.  Officers spoke to the son who was just visiting and he was asked to leave the residence.  The son was upset and the mother was advised what she needed to do to keep him out of the residence.  Field Ops was written.

 

1745 hrs., Shoppers/ Shoplifter, caller said there was a female shoplifting inside the store.  When officers arrived they spoke to Loss Prevention who stated she did not steal any items she left them in the store and left prior to our arrival.  No Report.

1806 Hrs. Neighbor Dispute- 5300 block 85th Ave, Officers responded to the listed location for a dispute between neighbors. Once scene contact was made with the caller who stated his neighbor had made threats towards him because of a notice that was on his door about loud noise. The caller stated he received the same notice along with every other resident in the building. Officers attempted to make contact with the other party involved but were unsuccessful because he was no longer home.  The caller was advised to contact police if the neighbor returns. No Report

1837 Hrs. Accident- Annapolis Rd & 85th Ave, Officers responded to the listed location for a two-vehicle accident. Once on the scene, both drivers were checked for injuries related to the collision. Both drivers claimed no injuries while on scene. Officers then proceeded to conduct an exchange of information, during the verification of information it was discovered that the striking vehicle was not insured. At this time the vehicle was impounded and the driver was issued traffic citations. Report Written

2319 Hrs. Accident- Annapolis Rd & 85th Ave, Officers responded for a single-vehicle accident. Once on scene contact was made with the driver who claimed no injury while on scene. The driver stated he hit something but he was unsure what it was. Moments later Maryland State Police arrived on the scene and advised that our driver was involved in a hit & run on 495. SFT’S were administered with negative results showing the driver to have natural nystagmus. MSP issued the driver traffic citations and sent him on his way. No Report

 0030 Hrs. Accident- 6200 block Westbrook Dr, Officers responded to the listed location for a three-vehicle accident. Once on scene officers observed the same vehicle from the previous accident crashed into two parked vehicles. At this time it was apparent that the driver of the striking vehicle may be in a medical emergency. Prince George’s Fire & Ems was contacted and transported the driver to a local hospital for extremely low sugar levels. The striking vehicle was impounded by Tino’s towing to its destination. 0327 Hrs. Welfare Check- 8400 block Annapolis Rd, Officers responded to the listed location for a female subject who needed help. Once on scene officers made contact with the female subject who stated she was cold and that her feet hurt from being outside in the cold weather. Fire & Ems was on scene and transported the caller to a local hospital for treatment. No Report

0431 Hrs. Family Dispute- 7600 block Fontainbleau Dr., Officers responded to the listed location for a family dispute. Upon arrival, contact was made with the caller who stated her mother refused to answer the door and allow her into the residence. Officers then made contact with the caller's mother who allowed her daughter into the residence. No further police assistance was needed. No Report.

0439 Hrs. Notification- 6100 block 87th Ave, Officers responded to the listed location upon the request of another Law Enforcement Agency to a notification to the owner of a vehicle they had stopped that was occupied by a couple of juveniles. Officers made contact with a resident at the listed location, the resident advised that the name and vehicle provided didn’t belong to anyone at the residence. Officers made contact with the investigating officer and informed her of the outcome. No Report

The victim was provided case numbers and advised to contact her insurance company.
