0745 hrs., Premise check/ 8500 block of Annapolis Rd (foot patrol), check clear.

 

0800 hrs., 7700 block Riverdale Rd/ Stolen auto, caller stated she noticed her vehicle last night in the parking lot, but when she looked this morning the vehicle was gone.  Officers checked impound repo with negative results.  Officers ran the registration tag and the vehicle had no issues with it.  Report written

 

0826 hrs., 8400 block Cathedral St./ Robbery, caller states her daughter was assaulted by a female and she was chasing her down the road.  Officers located the victim who stated the suspect assaulted her and took her money. Officers located the suspect as she was attempting to flee and took her into custody.  After interviewing the victim, it was determined to be a robbery. NC2 was notified and Detectives responded.  Report written

 

0826 hrs., 7800 block Riverdale Rd/ Theft from Auto, caller stated she observed items thrown around inside of her vehicle.  When she went to her vehicle she noticed the door open and while checking the car she observed several items missing.  No damage to her vehicle was observed.  Report written

 

0932 hrs., 5800 block 89th Ave/ Theft from auto, caller stated he went to his vehicle this morning and observed the passenger side door ajar.  When he checked the vehicle he observed several items tossed around and other items missing.  There was no damage to his vehicle.  Report written

 

0947 hrs., 5500 block Karen Elaine Dr. / Theft from Auto, caller stated he went to walk his dog and observed his vehicle passenger door open.  Caller went to his vehicle and went through and found several items missing.  Report written

 

1038 hrs., 5500 block Karen Elaine Dr. / Stolen Auto, caller stated they parked their vehicle in the parking lot last night and when they went to go to it today it was missing.  Officers checked and it was not in Impound or repo or towed by the complex tow company.  Report written

 

1101 hrs., 7500 block Riverdale Rd/ Theft from Auto, caller stated items were taken from his vehicle overnight.  There was no phone number given and when officers called (several times) with no response.  

 

1300 hrs., 5400 block 85th Ave./ Check on the welfare, caller stated he has not talked to his ex-wife and son in a week and he has not been in school.  Officers spoke to the female who advised she was going through domestic violence issues with the male and she moved away for her safety.  Officers called the male back and advised they were in good health.  Civil matter, No report.

 

1431 hrs., 5500 block Karen Elaine Dr/ Stolen Vehicle, caller stated she parked her vehicle last night and when she went to it today it was missing.  There was no apartment given and when officers attempted to call back (several times) with no answer.  At this time, officers unable to obtain any information for a report without being able to speak to the caller.  Officers were finally able to reach the caller.  Her vehicle was impounded last night due to it being involved in an accident.  No Report.

 

1449 hrs., 7500 block Riverdale Rd/ Theft from Auto, caller stated he parked his vehicle last night in the parking lot and when he went back to the vehicle today there were items thrown around the car.  Caller stated there were several items taken from his vehicle.  Report written

 

1540 hrs., 5500 block Karen Elaine Dr/ Vandalism, caller stated she parked her vehicle in the parking lot last night and when she returned to her vehicle in the afternoon she observed several items tossed around his car.  Caller stated her lock on her driver’s side was broken and unable to be used.  Report written

 

1600 hrs., 5500 block Karen Elaine Dr/ Theft from Auto, caller stated he went to his vehicle this morning and observed the passenger side door ajar.  When he checked the vehicle he observed several items tossed around and an iPad missing.  There was no damage to his vehicle.  Report written

0543 HOURS-Accident-7400 block Annapolis Rd.- Officers responded to this location for a report of a two-vehicle accident that caused minor damage. Officers assisted both parties with an exchange of information. NO REPORT

2026 HOURS-Hit and Run-7700 block Riverdale Rd.- Officers responded to this location for a report of a hit and run. Officers gathered the information from the caller and provided them with case numbers to further proceed. REPORT/ACRS WRITTEN

2030 HOURS-Residential Alarm-6600 block Adrian St.- Officers responded to this location for a report of an alarm being activated at this location. Officers met with the resident and found the alarm has been malfunctioning and she is unsure why; however, everything was okay. NO REPORT

2040 HOURS-Disorderly-8400 block Annapolis Rd.- Officers responded to this location for a report of a female disturbing customers. The female was gone prior to officers' arrival. NO REPORT

2227 HOURS-Premise Check-5200-5400 block 85th Ave.- Officers conducted a check of this area for any criminal activity. NO REPORT 

2319 HOURS-Premise Check-5500 Karen Elaine Dr.-Officers conducted a check of this area for any criminal activity. NO REPORT  

2352 HOURS-Premise Check-8400 block Ravenswood Rd.-Officers conducted a check of this area for any criminal activity. NO REPORT

0042 HOURS-Premise Check-8400 block Annapolis Rd.-Officers conducted a check of this location for any issues. NO REPORT

0137 HOURS-Premise Check-8100 block Gavin St.-Officers conducted a check of this location for any criminal activity. NO REPORT

0250 HOURS-Disorderly-6400 block Lamont Dr.- Officers responded to this location for a report of a woman screaming and banging on the door. It was found that the female in question lost her keys in the residence while at a party and was attempting to contact the homeowner. The female was granted access by the homeowner to search for her keys; however, the search was unsuccessful and the female was sent on her way. NO REPORT

0338 HOURS-Return Call-6400 block Lamont Dr.- Officers responded back to the location as the homeowner called back for the same female. Upon officers' arrival, the homeowner pointed to her basement window and stated the female did it while trying to make contact with her. The female was then detained for investigative purposes. The homeowner was asked if she would like to pursue charges against the female, to which the homeowner stated she did not. The female was then transported to the New Carrollton Metro Station so that she may find a different alternative to getting home and advised to come back at a later date to look for her keys.
