Foot patrol conducted and the business was clear.
1107 hrs., 7700 block Riverdale Rd/Theft,
while conducting a premise check, store employees flagged down Officers due to
them observing a male stealing detergent. They stated the subject filled
a red bag with detergent and left without paying for the items. The male
was stopped several minutes later by Officers and issued a Criminal Citation
for the theft. REPORT WRITTEN
1120 hrs., Station call/ Female came to the
station to report an identity theft. Upon speaking with the female she
stated that the theft occurred almost a year ago while she was living in New
Carrollton. When asked what happened she stated she had gone through the
bank and they investigated the fraud but did not refund her the money, she
stated when she appealed it, the bank told her she needed a police report in
order for them to refund her the money. When officers spoke to the bank
they advised us it was fraud through PayPal and the female failed to close her
account when they advised her to so now there are charges on the account (from
her) she is claiming are still fraudulent. The bank advised her they
cannot return her money due to it being her activity and she failed to do what
they advised her to do. She was advised.

Prince George's County, they received a call for two males that stole items
from the Family Dollar on Annapolis and the males then ran behind the CVS and
TD Bank. Officers canvased the area with negative results.

1400-1420 hrs., Crosswalk Detail/ Powhatan St
and Westbrook Dr, all clear.
1445 hrs., Business
check/ City of New Carrollton Pool, check clear.
1500-1540 hrs., 6200-6400 Block of Lamont Dr./
Traffic detail with Charles Carroll exiting school, several cars moved out of
the roadway for blocking traffic, all cleared.
1604 hrs., Theft/ Forman Mills, Female was
stopped by Loss Prevention for placing a couple of items in her bag after she
removed the tags. The female failed to pay for the items and Loss
Prevention detained her until officers arrived. The female became
disorderly by being loud and attempting to flee. Once officers arrived
she calmed down. She was checked, issued a citation for theft, and sent
on her way. REPORT WRITTEN
1655 hrs., 7-11/ Disorderly males, Manager
stated two males were bothering customers for money and refused to leave.
Upon officers arrival both males cooperative and advised they cannot ask
customers of the business for money. They were sent on their way.
1741 hrs., 5900 block 85th Ave/ Residential alarm,
officers were en-route to this location for an alarm call but were cancelled
due to the proper code being received.
1834 Family Dispute/ 8500 block Oliver St father wanted police to talk to his 13 y/o son.

Property/ 5300 block 85th Ave #101 caller left her
purse on the roof of her vehicle. Inside was her naturalization card, bankcards
and other documents. REPORT WRITTEN

front entry/exit doors. Key holder Asst. Mgr. arrived. The areas were checked
with negative results.
0020 Stolen Auto/ 6400 Fairborn Terr. - vehicle was not
stolen. The complainant was advised the vehicle was repossessed
0108 Assist/Gairlock Pl PGPD responded to a
DUI accident and needed assistance.
0151 Domestic/ 8600 block Annapolis Rd - male and female
were having a verbal altercation. Parties were arguing over the female half
sleeping in the car since the windows don't roll up. Neither displayed injuries
and parties agreed to be amicable. REPORT WRITEEN
0210 Commercial Alarm/ 7700 block Riverdale Rd- alarm was activated
by a cat inside the building.
