0645 hrs., Business check/ 7-11, check clear.

0730 hrs., Business check/ Carrollton Enterprise, check clear.

0805 hrs., Residential check/ 5500 Block of Karen Elaine Dr. - check clear.

0830 hrs., Residential check/ 5300-5400 Block of 85th Ave, check clear.

0907 hrs.,  Commercial Alarm/ 8300 block Annapolis Rd, alarm company stated the alarm was coming from the front door.  Officers arrived to find that employees accidentally set the alarm off attempting to open the store.

0950 hrs., Ellen Rd & Hampton Oaks Dr./ Officers assisted Prince George's County Police with a possible injury accident.  Officers arrived to locate a vehicle in the pond.  The vehicle was checked and there were no persons inside.  Prince George's County Police took over the investigation.

1009 hrs., 911 hang-up call/ 8200 block Annapolis Rd, when Officers were in route it was changed to a possible shoplifting.  When Officers arrived on scene the male had fled the area but employees felt he may have mental health issues.  Officers searched the area with negative results.

1050 hrs., Business check/ Plaza 30, check clear.

1130 hrs., Residential check/ Heritage Square Apartments, check clear.

1205 hrs., Business check/ New Carrollton Public Library, check clear.

1230 hrs., Residential check/ 5800 Block of Runford Dr. / check clear.

1250 hrs., School check/ Robert Frost Elementary School, check clear.

1315 hrs., School check/ Charles Carroll Middle School, check clear.

1422 hrs., Business check/ Metro Points Hotel, check clear.

1549 hrs., Business check/ Forman Mills, check clear.

1623 hrs., Fight Call/ 7800 Block of Annapolis Rd, officers assisted county officers with a fight call. Both subjects were advised by Prince George's County Police to seek assistance through the commissioner’s office. 

1725 hrs., Business check/ 8100 block Annapolis Rd, check clear.

1920 CDS Complaint/ 5500 block Karen Elaine Dr. / caller advised someone smoking CDS in the basement laundry room. 

2028 Theft/ 8400 block Ravenswood Rd / someone stole $50 from the complainant. The complainant was advised to seek assistance with the commissioners 

2047 Threat Complaint/ 7500 block Riverdale Rd / caller received messages from Facebook threatening to fight them. 

2230 Disorderly/ 8500 block Annapolis Rd / guest was smoking marijuana in the room. Officers attempted to make contact with negative results. The hotel maintenance opened the door and officers confronted the guest. He checked negative for warrants. REPORT WRITTEN

0050 Premise Check/ 8100 block Annapolis Rd / area was clear

0059 Residential Alarm/ 5900 block 87th Ave / Alarm from the front door. The house checked secure all doors and windows were secure

0130 Suspicious Vehicle/ 5500 block Karen Elaine Dr. / caller advised a vehicle with flashing lights in the area. As the officer’s arrived, the vehicle was observed at 7700 block Arehart Dr. A check of the registration revealed 5500 block Karen Elaine Dr. Officers responded and notified the owner. 

0200 Warrant Service/ NCPD- male wanted to turn himself in for an open warrant from 2012. The male was transported to DOC Hyattsville for service.  REPORT WRITTEN

 0315 Premise Check/ 85th Ave Apts. / area was clear

0400 Premise Check/ 6100 block Lamont Drive / area was clear

0657 Hours - Stolen Auto - 7700 Block of Riverdale Road: An unknown suspect stole the victim's vehicle during the overnight hours fleeing in an unknown direction. The victim was provided case numbers and advised to contact her insurance company. Report Written 0807 Hours - Suspicious Person - 7700 Block of Riverdale Rd: An unknown caller advised a male in gray was asleep under the stairwell unresponsive. Officers responded and made contact with the subject who advised he was on the bus all night and needed a place to sleep. The male checked negative for warrants and was sent on his way.
