0635 hrs., 7-11/ Business check, all clear.

0700 hrs., 7700 Block of Riverdale Rd/ Check the area for traffic, making sure the children safely get onto the school buses.  Area was checked and no incidents to report. 

0803 hrs., 8500 block Annapolis Rd./ Traffic Stop cleared without incident.

0823 hrs., 7600 block Riverdale Rd./ Traffic Stop cleared without incident.

0830 hrs., 7600 block Annapolis Rd./ Traffic Stop, vehicle impounded for pick-up order on tags. REPORT WRITTEN

0915 hrs., 8300 block Annapolis Rd./ Business Check, all clear.

0950 hrs., 7800 block Annapolis Rd./ Traffic Stop, cleared without incident.

1007 hrs., 6400 block 85th Pl./ Traffic Complaint, the complainant called in regards to a vehicle conducting an illegal U-turn on the roadway, no vehicles were found conducting any traffic infractions.

1030 hrs., 8300-8400 block 85th Ave./ Premise Check, all clear.

1100 hrs., 8100 block Annapolis Rd./ Traffic Stop, vehicle impounded for pick-up order on tags. REPORT WRITTEN

1141 hrs., 5700 block 83rd Pl./ Check Welfare, On-Star received an emergency call from a vehicle in the area.  Officers met with the owner of the vehicle, he was attempting to contact On-Star to get his vehicle restarted.  The owner did not need any assistance at this time.

1221 hrs., 7500 block Annapolis Rd./ Traffic Stop, vehicle impounded due to pick-up order on tags. REPORT WRITTEN

1258 hrs., Annapolis Rd @ Veterans Pkwy./ Sig. 7 stop, Male was stopped for panhandling in the median, he was checked, issued citations, and sent on his way. REPORT WRITTEN

1315 hrs., 8400 block Annapolis Rd. / Business Check, all clear.

1400 hrs., 5900 block 87th Ave./ Dispute, female called because her aunt was attempting to take her grandfather's vehicle without permission while he was in the hospital. The Aunt could not prove she lived at the residence nor have permission to have the vehicle.  The Aunt left on her own accord.  REPORT WRITTEN

1447 hrs., 6600 block Chestnut Ave./ Premise Check, all clear.

1510 hrs., 6000 block 85th Pl./ Officers assisted New Carrollton Detectives with gathering information regarding an investigation.

1520 hrs., 8400 block Annapolis Rd./ E.P.S, officers were called for a male who took a pizza out of Papa Johns without paying and threw it in the parking lot. Upon officer’s arrival, it was apparent that the male was under the influence of CDS, possibly PCP. The male was placed into custody and transported to Prince George's Hospital Center for treatment; warrants will be applied for the male in question. REPORT WRITTEN

1630 hrs., 5500 Block of Karen Elaine Dr. / Residential check, check was clear.

1650 hrs., Carrollton Enterprise/ Business check, check clear.

1735 hrs., 5900 block 87th Ave./ Protective Order Service, the aunt in the previous incident returned to the home and locked herself inside.  The caller returned home from obtaining the protective order, but was unable to gain entry due to all of the locks being secured and the Aunt had the keys with her.  Officers arrived and located the Aunt in the bedroom with the door locked and dressers up against it.  Caller broke the door and Officers were able to talk the female out of the room.  At this time she was served the order and escorted out of the residence.  REPORT WRITTEN

2030 Disabled Motorist/ 8500 block Annapolis Rd / vehicle drove on the median. A tow truck responded and rendered assistance 

2140 Premise Check/ 7700 block Riverdale Rd / area as clear

2200 Disorderly/ 8400 block Ravenswood Rd / caller advised his landlord had surveillance equipment in the house

2206 Accident/ 8500 block Annapolis Rd/ a PGPD unit observed two vehicles in lane one. Parties exchanged information with the assistance of officers 

2208 Disabled Vehicle/ 8500 block Annapolis Rd / vehicle stuck on the median. A tow truck was passing stopped and rendered assistance 

2330 Premise Check/ 7700 block Riverdale Rd / area was clear

0020 Premise Check/ 85th Ave Apts. / area was clear

0100 Premise Check/ 8300 block Annapolis Rd / area was clear

0300 Premise Check/ 6600 block Adrian St / area was clear

0430 Premise Check/ 6100 block Lamont Dr. / area was clear

0657 Hours - Stolen Auto - 7700 Block of Riverdale Road: An unknown suspect stole the victim's vehicle during the overnight hours fleeing in an unknown direction. The victim was provided case numbers and advised to contact her insurance company. Report Written 0807 Hours - Suspicious Person - 7700 Block of Riverdale Rd: An unknown caller advised a male in gray was asleep under the stairwell unresponsive. Officers responded and made contact with the subject who advised he was on the bus all night and needed a place to sleep. The male checked negative for warrants and was sent on his way.
