0645 hrs., Business check/ 7-11, check clear.

0715 hrs., Residential check/ 5500 block of Karen Elaine Dr. / check clear

0745 hrs., Residential check/ Heritage square apartments, check clear.

0810 hrs., School check/ Charles Carroll Middle School, check clear.

0830 hrs., School check/ Lamont Elementary School, check clear.

0915 hrs., 8400 block Carrollton Pkwy/ Assist Animal Warden with two aggressive dogs running loose.  After some time Officers and Warden tracked the owner down to 8400 block Cathedral St.  The dogs were taken in to the residence by the owner, the owner was issued citations by the Animal Warden.

1020 hrs., Business check/ City of New Carrollton Pool, check clear.

1045 hrs., School check/ Margaret Brent, check clear.

1112 hrs., 7600 Block of Annapolis Rd/ Traffic stop, stop cleared without incident.

1130 hrs., Business check/ New Carrollton Public Library (Foot Patrol), check clear.

1155 hrs., 7300 block Longbranch Dr. / Property damage, caller stated he believes someone in Bladensburg is putting salt on the roof of his ice cream truck.  Caller was advised this will have to be reported to Bladensburg Police.  He then stated that someone it putting water in his gas tank and his car is acting funny.  Officers advised he received bad gas and will have to file a civil suit with the gas station he got the gas from.

1215 hrs., School check/ Lamont Elementary School, check clear.

1245 hrs., Business check/ Metro Points Hotel, check clear.

1330 hrs., Residential check/ 5300-5400 Block of 85th Ave, check clear.

1345 hrs., Station call/ caller wanted to report an incident that occurred at Papa john’s a couple weeks ago.  She stated she and a coworker got into an argument and pushed each other.  She was advised of what action she needed to take.

1415 hrs., Foodway/  Vehicle accident, two vehicles involved in a minor vehicle accident.  No parties claimed injury on scene and information was exchanged by Officers between both parties.

1500 hrs., 6200 Block of Lamont Dr. / check the area to make sure the kids leaving school are safely out of the area and on the way home.

1532 hrs., 6600 block Good Luck Rd/ Family Dispute, caller advised he was upset his daughter wanted another nose piercing.  They argued about it and the caller stated the daughter was being disrespectful.  Both parties were talked to and both parties were advised.  Information was given to the caller for possible assistance with mental health.

1600 hrs., Business check/ New Carrollton Public Library (Foot Patrol), check clear.

1620 hrs., 5800 block Nystrom St/ Family dispute, Officers were called to the residence for a juvenile that was out of control.  When Officers arrived the juvenile was yelling and cussing, but after speaking to them they calmed down.  Officers were able to assist the child calmly onto the ambulance where fireboard transported them to Children’s Hospital where the family member would be able to get them the proper medical treatment. REPORT WRITTEN

1650 hrs., Shoppers/ Assist motorist lock out, caller stated she had the key but the key would not work.  Officers checked the key as well and discovered the mechanism is broken.  Officers made several attempts to gain entry but were unable to; she was advised to call insurance or a locksmith.

1945 Check Welfare/ Veterans Pkwy @ Ellin Rd / caller advised a driver was slumped over the steering wheel and drove off. Officers checked the area with negative results.

1910 Premise Check/ 5500 block Karen Elaine Drive / area was clear

1940 Disorderly/ 8400 block Annapolis Rd / female customer in the store yelling. The female was stopped, identified, checked for warrants with negative results. The store trespassed the female and she was sent on her way REPORT WRITTEN

2036 Premise Check/ 8400 block Annapolis Rd / no issues reported, business as usual  

2145 Check Welfare/ 5500 block Karen Elaine Dr. / a family friend called in reference to a male in the parking lot having a difficult time dealing with the passing of his mother. Contact was made with the male who advised he was ok. He was upset because a friend threatened him. 

2325 Premise Check/ 85th Ave Apts. / area was clear

2349 Premise Check/ 7700 block Riverdale Rd / store preparing to close for the evening 

0018 Check Welfare/ 7600 block Fontainebleau Dr. / son called to check on his mother whom he hasn’t talked to. Contact was made and she was ok

0050 Premise Check/ 8100 block Annapolis Rd / area was clear

0113 Domestic/ 5300 block 85th Ave / female alleged her boyfriend assaulted her. There were no injuries; she wanted a protective order served. REPORT WRITTEN

0210 Stolen Auto/ 6200 block Westbrook Dr. / the victim advised an unknown suspect stole his motorcycle from the property. The victim stated he last saw his motorcycle on 9/27 and it was ok. The theft was recorded in NCIC. REPORT WRITTEN

0320 Premise Check/ 8500 block Annapolis Rd / area was clear

0440 Premise Check/ 6100 bloc k 84th Ave / area was clear

0657 Hours - Stolen Auto - 7700 Block of Riverdale Road: An unknown suspect stole the victim's vehicle during the overnight hours fleeing in an unknown direction. The victim was provided case numbers and advised to contact her insurance company. Upon arrival, officers spoke with both drivers, who claimed no injuries while on the scene. Both vehicle was disabled in the roadway and impounded for safekeeping.
