0725 hours - Premise check - 7700 block Riverdale Road: All clear. 

 

0804 hours - Stolen tags - 5300 block 85th Avenue: The caller stated that someone stole her tag from her vehicle. Officers responded to the location and discovered that her temporary tags were expired in June of 2021. The caller was advised. No report 

 

0913 hrs. Premise Check 8500 block Annapolis Rd. Check Clear.

 

1004 hours - Disorderly - 7800 block Riverdale Road: The caller stated that there is a male sleeping in the hallway. Officers responded to the location but the male was GOA. No report 

 

1025 hours - Vandalism - 5500 block Karen Elaine Drive: The caller stated that his ex-tenant damaged the mailbox. Officers responded to the location and advised the caller. No report

 

1103 hours - Property damage - 5400 block 85th Avenue: The stated that her vehicle was damage unknown when and where. Officers responded to the location and advised the caller. No report 

 

1107 hours - Disorderly - 8300 block Annapolis Road: The caller stated that there is a male in the parking lot bothering customers. Officers responded to the location and sent the male on his way. No report 

 

1215 hours - Premise Check - 5500 block of Karen Elaine Drive: Officers on patrol conducted a premise check of the area for suspicious persons or activities, none of which were observed. No report 

 

1340 hours - Stolen auto - 8100 block Annapolis Road: The caller stated that a vehicle was stolen from a lot. Report generated

 

1426 hours - Domestic - 6016 Princess Garden Pkwy: A female came to the location and reported domestic, Family crisis center was contacted. Report generated

 

1505 hours - Disorderly - 7600 block Riverdale Road: The caller stated that their kid boyfriend is refusing to leave. Officers responded to the location and sent the male on his way. No report 

 

1553 hours - Stolen auto - 8000 block Annapolis Road: The caller stated that his vehicle was stolen. Officers responded to the location and discovered that the incident occurred out of jurisdiction. No report 

 

1645 hours - Death - 5500 block Karen Elaine Drive: Officers responded to the location for a death call. (Handled by evening shift)

 

1652 hours - Residential alarm - 7300 block Gavin Street: While officers were responding, communications advised that they received a proper code. No report 

 

1645- Death Report - 5500 block Karen Elaine Dr. Officers were dispatched to the location for a death from natural causes. Originally started handled by day shift, but relieved by nights. Report written

 

1953- Domestic Standby - 7500 block Riverdale Road. Caller stated that mother had kicked them out of the house earlier that day and they needed to get inside to get some clothing. Owner of the house was not on scene. Advised caller on what to do. No report. 

 

2011- Accident with injury - Annapolis Road and Veterans Parkway. Pedestrian was struck and taken to a local hospital to be treated for injuries. NC4 notified of the incident. Report written

 

2105- Premise Check - 7400 block of Annapolis Road. Check clear. No report. 

 

2233 - Suspicious Auto - Westbrook Drive and Lamont Drive. Observed two individuals parked in a running vehicle. Made contact with the individuals who stated they were talking before the boyfriend dropped the girlfriend off at her parent's house. Individuals were advised and sent on their way. No report. 

 

2256 - Property Alarm - 8400 block Annapolis Road. Alarm went off and the building was checked and found to be secure. No report. 

 

2308 - Traffic Complaint - 8000 block Powhatan Street. Caller advised that a vehicle was driving up and down the street without its headlights on and revving its engine loudly. Officers checked the surrounding area and were met with negative results. 

 

0025 - Premise Check - 8200 block Annapolis Road. Check clear. No report. 

 

0110 - Loud Music Complaint - 8300 block Larchwood Street. Caller stated that someone was playing loud music from their vehicle for the past hour. Officers drove through the area and were met with negative results. No report. 

 

0153 - Check Welfare/Suspicious Auto - 8400 block Annapolis Road. Caller stated that he was with a New Carrollton Police Officer who advised him that he couldn't park in the parking lot overnight but he had only been in the parking lot for ten minutes. Caller stated that he wanted to speak to a supervisor. Supervisor came out and informed the caller he could not park in the parking lot after close of business hours or else his vehicle could be towed. Caller was sent on his way. No report.

  0630 hrs., Premise check/ Shoppers Food (Foot Patrol), check clear.   0645 hrs., Premise check/ Lowe's, check clear.   0700 hrs., 8000 block Powhattan St/ Suspicious persons, caller stated there was a person sleeping inside of a vehicle parked in front of their residence.  Officers located the vehicle and the persons inside sleeping.  Officers checked the individuals and the vehicle and observed nothing illegal at this time.  The individuals were advised and sent on their way.  Report written   0745 hrs., Premise check/ 7-11, check clear.   0821 hrs., 7600 block Fountainbleau Dr/ 911 Hang-up, communications stated there was a call from this address but prior to getting any information the phone hung up.  On callback communications stated there was no answer, only a prerecorded message.  Officers checked the rental office and it was locked and secure with no one inside.  No Report.   0847 hrs., 86...
