father to leave the residence because he didn't fix the door he came over to
fix. The male elected to leave. No report
1110 Hours- Threats Complaint- 6016 Princess
Garden Pkwy. Male advised his granddaughter's father keeps calling him.
Officers spoke to the male who was just looking for help dealing with his

Dr. The caller stated that her neighbor hit her bush when he was mowing his grass.
The elderly neighbor advised the part of his yard is downhill and it was an

1420 Hours-
Disorderly- 8500 block Annapolis Rd. The caller advised there was a male
walking around the hotel trying doors, and he was not a guest. Officers made
contact with the male who stated he was looking for a friend. Officers checked
the male for warrants. The male was wanted from this county. Search incident to
arrest revealed the male was also in possession of CDS. The male was
transported to Upper Marlboro CDC without incident. Report written

Suspicious Person- 87th Ave. The caller stated there was a male in
the area that may work for Pepco but he looked suspicious. The caller only gave
the street name. Officers were able to locate the male who in fact worked for
Pepco. No report
1600 Hours - Accident
- 5700 block of 84th Ave. Officers responded to an accident where Unit 2 was
backing out of her driveway when she was struck by Unit1. The driver of Unit 1
did not have a driver's license. Report written
1730 Hours - Check Welfare- 6000 block Mentana
St. The caller wanted officers to check the welfare of a baby because the
child's father uses drugs. However, the baby was with her mother at another
location. No Report
1804 hours - Shooting – 7600 block Riverdale
Road: Officers responded to the location for a shooting. Caller stated that a
suspect shot a female in front of the location. Officers responded to the
location and found a female with a single shot wound at her lower left
abdomen with an in and out wound. The female was transported to Howard
university hospital for non-life threatening injury. The suspect fled on
foot in an unknown direction, a canvass of the area conducted yielded
negative results. New Carrollton detectives responded to the scene and NC3

Drive: The caller stated that a juvenile threw a rock and broke his window
glass and he had that juvenile stopped at the location. Officers responded
to the location and the juvenile mother agreed to pay the caller for his
window. Officers gathered all the information for the report and advised all

Riverdale Road: The caller stated that someone tried to steal the laundry
detergent. Officers responded to the location and discovered that the loss
prevention retrieved all their property back and the suspect fled the scene in
an unknown direction. The loss prevention advised that they only need the case
numbers for their record since they already recovered all their property.

ANNAPOLIS RD - OFFICERS CHECKED THE AREA FOR SUSPICIOUS PERSONS, VEHICLES OR
ACTIVITIES, NONE OF WHICH WERE OBSERVED. No report
0017 hours - Theft – 5300 block 85th Avenue:
The caller stated that someone stole her ring camera in front of her house
(attached by a 3mm tape). Officers responded to the location, gathered all the
information for the report and advised the caller. Report generated
0314 hours - Suspicious unoccupied vehicle –
6400 block Lamont Drive: The caller stated that a vehicle is blocking his
driveway. Officers responded to the location, issued a vehicle parking
violation and Tino's impounded the vehicle. Report generated
0328 hours - Breaking and Entering/Arrest – 5500
block Karen Elaine Drive: Officers responded to the location for breaking and
entering in progress. The suspect was arrested, transported to Doctors
community hospital and then to Doc Upper Marlboro. NC2 was advised.
