0750 Hours- Theft from Auto- 5500 block Karen Elaine Dr- Officers responded out and took a theft report for a stolen wallet. Report written

 

0824 Hours- Stolen Vehicle- 7800 block Riverdale Rd- Officers responded out and discovered the caller's vehicle was impounded for not having a parking pass.

 

0852 Hours- Vandalism- 7600 block Riverdale Rd- officers responded out for damaged car cover. the caller had already replaced the car cover officers were unable to verify a crime. 

 

0942 Hours- Traffic Enforcement- Powhatan St @ Westbrook Dr- Officers conducted traffic stops for moving violations. 

 

1007 Hours- Traffic Enforcement- Fountainebleu Dr @ Karen Elaine Dr- Officers conducted traffic stops for moving violations. 

 

1023 Hours- Sig 5- 7500 block Riverdale Rd- Officers observed an illegally parked vehicle, the vehicle was issued a parking citation.

 

1126 Hours- Premise check- 7700 block Riverdale Rd- Officers canvased the area for suspicious activity, the area checked clear.

 

1214 Hours- Music Comp- Carrollton Pkwy @ 85th Pl- Officers checked the area. no loud music could be heard.

 

1315 Hours-Traffic Enforcement- 5800 Block Lamont Dr- Officers conducted traffic stops for moving violations.  

 

1322 Hours- Music Comp- 8600 block Powhatan St- Officers checked the area. no loud music could be heard.

 

1443 Hours- Missing Person- 5900 block Mentana St- Officers responded out for a missing person. Officers completed a missing person report and notified NCPD 3 and a person's detective. Report written

 

1528 Hours- Citizen Robbery- 8400 block Annapolis Rd- Officers responded out to the loading dock of the grand food mart for a strong-arm robbery. The suspect struck the victim in the face with a closed fist and took his phone and fled on foot towards the New Carrollton Metro. NCPD3 and RST detectives were notified. Report written

 

1558 Hours- Sig 9- 5200 block 85Th Ave- A citizen flagged an officer down after a vehicle accident occurred. Officers assisted the drivers with an information exchange. 

 

1611 Hours- Music Comp- Carrollton Pkwy @ 85th Pl- Officers checked the area, no loud music could be heard.

 

1744 Hours- Sig 6- 8300 block Annapolis Rd- Officers checked the area to locate a subject trying to pick up women in his gray Honda sedan. Officers canvased the surrounding area. Officers were unable to locate the subject. 

 

1807 Hrs. Premise Check 7700 block Riverdale Rd. Check Clear.

 

1848 Hrs. Loud Music 8600 block Powhatan St. Officers made contact with the homeowners about the loud music. The music was then turned down without incident. No Report

 

2012 Hrs. Traffic Complaint. 7200 block Goodluck Rd. Officers responded to the listed location for a vehicle that had been parked against the flow of traffic for a long period of time. Officers arrived on scene and observed the parking violation issued a citation. No Report

 

2100 Hrs Threats Complaint 5500 block Karen Elaine Dr. Officers responded to the listed location for a threats complaint. Once on scene officers met with the caller who stated her ex-boyfriend showed up at her residence and made threats towards her and her new boyfriend. Both the caller and her boyfriend were advised to seek further assistance through the District Court Commissioner. No Report

2313 Hrs. Suspicious Vehicle 8200 block Legation Rd. Officers responded to the listed location for a vehicle that had been parked outside the listed location for a long period of time. Officers did observe parking violations from the vehicle and issued parking citations. No Report

0119 Hrs. Family Dispute 6400 block 86th Ave. Officers responded to the listed location for a family dispute. Once on scene officers made contact with the caller who stated her daughter wanted to leave the house. Officers then spoke with both parties and resolved the issue. No Report

0403 Hrs. Stolen Vehicle 6200 block 86th Ave. Officers responded to the listed location for a stolen vehicle. Once on scene contact was made with the caller who stated he believed that the vehicle may have been repossessed due to lack of payment. The caller advised he would try to contact the financial institution during business hours to verify if the vehicle was impounded. No Report

  0630 hrs., Premise check/ Shoppers Food (Foot Patrol), check clear.   0645 hrs., Premise check/ Lowe's, check clear.   0700 hrs., 8000 block Powhattan St/ Suspicious persons, caller stated there was a person sleeping inside of a vehicle parked in front of their residence.  Officers located the vehicle and the persons inside sleeping.  Officers checked the individuals and the vehicle and observed nothing illegal at this time.  The individuals were advised and sent on their way.  Report written   0745 hrs., Premise check/ 7-11, check clear.   0821 hrs., 7600 block Fountainbleau Dr/ 911 Hang-up, communications stated there was a call from this address but prior to getting any information the phone hung up.  On callback communications stated there was no answer, only a prerecorded message.  Officers checked the rental office and it was locked and secure with no one inside.  No Report.   0847 hrs., 86...
