0636 hours Traffic complaint 8300 block Quentin Street, the caller reported a blue Honda civic parked in front of his driveway blocking it. Officers arrived on the scene and noticed a dog in the back seat. The caller reported the car has been parked here since midnight. Officers were able to rescue the puppy and contacted New Carrollton Animal control, who responded & took custody of the animal. Tino's towing responded and impounded the car for safekeeping. The temporary Texas tag was not registered and confiscated. Parking citation issued. Report written

 

0806 hours Suspicious Occupied Vehicle, 6500 block Inlet Street, A resident called to report a vehicle with two occupants parked in front of their home. However, the vehicle left without incident before the officer's arrival. No report.  

 

0834 hours Trespassing Complaint 8500 block Annapolis Road, Hotel management reported a man sleeping in their dining area and was trespassing. The gentleman was checked for warrants with negative results; he was issued a Trespassing Bar notice, advised then sent on his way. Report written

 

1000 Hours- Premise Check- 8400 block Annapolis Rd. Officers checked the area for suspicious activity; the area checked clear.

 

1108 Hours- Premise Check- 5800 block Lamont Ter. Officers checked the area for suspicious activity; the area checked clear.

1400 hours Assist 8100 block of Legation Road, Prince George's County Police requested NC officers to help search for a critical missing from Montgomery County; the missing was subsequently located in the 8200 blk of Annapolis Road. Handle by PGPD, no report.  

 

1528 Hours- Premise Check- 7700 block Riverdale Rd. Officers checked the area for suspicious activity; the area checked clear.

 

1615 Hours Noise Complaint 5500 block Karen Elaine Drive, an anonymous caller, reported kids playing and yelling in the hallway, causing a disturbance. They were advised to lower the noise level no report. 

1902 hrs. Premise Check 8400 block Annapolis Rd. check clear.

 

2017 hrs. Stolen Vehicle 5400 block 85th Ave. Officers responded to the listed location for a stolen vehicle. Officers entered the vehicle into NCIC through Prince George's County Police Telecommunications. Report Written

 

2044 hrs. Pedestrian Struck 8400 block Annapolis Rd. Officers responded to the listed location for Pedestrian struck. Once scene officers located a male subject who had been struck by a vehicle while on his bicycle. The bicyclist was transported to a local hospital for minor injuries, the driver of the vehicle stayed on scene and render aid to the injured. Report Written

 

2149 hrs. Suspicious Auto 5500 block Karen Elaine Dr. Officers responded to the listed location for a vehicle parked in a handicapped parking space without a property placard. Officers checked the vehicle and located the placard on the dashboard. No Report

2319 hrs. Suspicious Person 5400 block 85TH Ave. Officers responded to the listed location for a male subject sitting in the building of the listed location. Once on scene officers made contact with the male subject who stated he was locked out of his sister's residence and was waiting for her to return home. No Report
