0650 hrs., 5200 block 85th Ave/ Disorderly persons, caller stated there were three homeless males sleeping in the hallway.  Officers located two males sleeping in the hallway and began to speak to them about why they were there.  The males stated their mother lost the house and they were trying to find a place to sleep until they can find something else for them.  They were advised and sent on their way.  No Report.

0710 hrs., Premise check/ 5300-5400 block of 85th Ave, check clear.

0730 hrs., 5300 block 85th Ave/ Missing person and assault, caller stated her son was arguing with her and slapped her in the face before leaving the apartment.  Caller stated her son was a juvenile and left all day and night and just came home in the morning to shower and got upset when she tried to talk to him about it.  Caller stated he yelled at her then proceeded to leave the residence, she wanted to file a missing person report.  Report written

0800 hrs., 6000 block 85th Ave/ Residential alarm, alarm company stated the alarm was coming from the entry way door.  Officers checked all doors and windows and they were secure.  No Report.

1040 hrs., T-Mobile/ Dispute, caller stated they were trying to return a phone and the store was not letting her.  Once Officers arrived at the store the employees stated she dialed 911 instead of 611 for customer service to the business.  No Report.

1050 hrs., Premise check/ 8400 block of Annapolis Rd (Foot patrol), check clear.

1120 hrs., Premise check/ Heritage Square Apartments, check clear.

1149 hrs., 8300 block Oglethorpe St/ Suspicious person, caller stated she could see a male at her front door through her ring.  Officers checked the area several times with negative results.  Caller stated she felt her light may have been tampered with.  Officers checked it and attempted to fix the light for her but it would still not work correctly.  No Report.

1220 hrs., 8600 block Powhatan St/ Unknown report, caller stated he purchased a vehicle and when he went to register it was told the tag on it did not belong to the vehicle.  He was advised it was a civil matter and what action he needed to take.  No Report.

1300 hrs., Farmcrest Dr. / Community event for a child, all clear no incidents.

1345 hrs., School check/ Charles Carroll Middle School, check clear.

1415 hrs., Premise check/ Shops at New Carrollton (Foot Patrol), check clear.

1443 hrs., 6000 block 84th Ave/ Vehicle Accident, caller advised he struck a vehicle while backing up.  Officers were able to get in touch with the owner of the struck vehicle and no persons claimed injury on scene.  Information was exchanged between parties by officers.  No Report.

1508 hrs., 5500 block Karen Elaine Dr. / Theft, caller stated he believed his son stole a check and used it at the Casinos several weeks ago.  At this time, he does not have any information from the bank or return check to verify the information.  He was advised what action to take and what items he would need.  No Report.

1806 Accident/ Annapolis Rd at 85th Ave - the accident moved from the roadway into the shopping center. Officers responded and assisted the drivers with exchanging information. No report

1830 Theft/ 7700 block Riverdale Rd - the caller alleged a male attempted to steal his wallet. Officers responded and determine no theft had occurred. No report

1940 Premise Check/ 8400 block Annapolis Rd - it was business as usual. 

2030 Premise Check/ Robert Frost Elementary - citizens were playing soccer on the field. No issues were observed.

2100 Premise Check/ 8400 block of Annapolis Rd - it was business as usual.

2142 ACRS/ 7600 block of Annapolis Rd - two vehicles were stopped at the traffic light when they were struck from the rear. The driver was not licensed and was cited and the vehicle impounded. Report written

2301 Unknown Trouble/ 8500 block Annapolis Rd - the owner of the phone accidentally dialed 911. No report

0010 Fight/ Annapolis Rd at Gallatin St - communications requested officers to assist while PGPD was busy. Officers were canceled prior to arrival, by a unit working an assignment in the area. No report

0030 Robbery/ Annapolis Rd at Gallatin St - officers assisted PGPD with translation and it was discovered the complainant from the above call wanted a report. There was no robbery and it was explained by PGPD. No report

0054 Family Dispute/ 5300 block 85th Ave - the caller wanted her daughter escorted from the residence. The daughter was distraught and gathered her belongings and left the residence. No report

0149 Return Call/ 5300 block 85th Ave - the caller wanted information on obtaining a protective order on her daughter that lives with her. She was advised to visit the commissioner's office.
