0610 hrs., 7-11/ Compliance Check, caller stated there were several males standing outside and in the store with no masks.  He stated he told the people working there and they said they do not care.  Officers checked and did not see a single person without a mask on.  No Report.

0650 hrs., 8300 block Legation St/ Dispute Call, Officers spoke to both parties and found no issues with either party or where the vehicle was stopped. No Report.

0715 hrs., Premise check/ 7-11, check clear.

0745 hrs., Premise Check/ Shops at New Carrollton, check clear.

0825 hrs., Premise Check/ City of New Carrollton Library, check clear.

0900 hrs., Premise Check/ 5500 block of Karen Elaine Dr, check clear.

0945 hrs., Premise Check/ 6600 block of Chestnut Ave, check clear.

1000 hrs., School Check/ Carrollton Elementary School, check clear.

1055 hrs., Shoppers Food Warehouse/ Attempt Theft, caller advised an elderly female was attempting to steal several hundreds of dollars of seafood.  Officers arrived and the female already left the area in an unknown direction of travel.  Area was searched and nothing was found.  No Report.

1120 hrs., Shoppers Food Warehouse/ Return Call, caller advised the female from the previous call came back to get her keys she left.  Caller advised they did not call us right away and did not attempt to obtain her information as well.  Officers arrived to the female once again gone from the area, caller was advised.  No Report.

1155 hrs., CVS Pharmacy/ Attempt theft, caller advised a female took lotion and placed it in her purse then walked out of the store without paying.  When officers arrived the manager could not verify if the item was missing or exactly what the item was.  Officers checked nothing was found.  Field Ops was completed.

1220 hrs., Metro Points Hotel/ Civil Matter, caller stated he was attempting to purchase something from a friend but when he gave him the money the friend had yet to return with the item.  The caller stated he knew the male, he has been friends with him for over three years.  Officers advised the caller since he had the information for the friend to go to the Commissioners officer.  No Report.

1300 hrs., Premise Check/ 6600 block of Chestnut Ave, check clear.  

1340 hrs., Premise Check/ Plaza 30, check clear.

1415 hrs.,  Premise Check/ 6600 block of Chestnut Ave, check clear.  

1450 hrs., Premise Check/ 5300-5400 block of 85th Ave, check clear.

1520 hrs., Premise Check/ 6600 block of Chestnut Ave, check clear.  

1543 hrs., 5400 block 85th Ave/ Disorderly, Caller stated they were hard of hearing and her roommate was banging on pots and yelling.  Caller stated her roommate was intoxicated and she wanted him out of the residence.  The Roommate was not on scene at this time but the caller was advised on what they need to do.  No Report.

1553 hrs., MetroPoints Hotel/ Suspicious person, caller advised there was a male possibly sleeping on the business side of the complex.  Officers checked the area with nothing found, the male was gone prior to arrival.  No Report.

1600 hrs., 8100 block of Annapolis Rd/ Vehicle Accident with injury, Off duty Prince George's County Officer came upon a vehicle accident in the roadway.  One driver stated she was injured but was not transported to the hospital for her injuries.  The damage to one vehicle was disabling and had to be impounded.  Report written

1807 Parking Complaint/ 6100 block of 84th Ave - the caller advised of vehicles parked closed to a fire hydrant. 

1910 Premise Check/ 6600 block of Chestnut Ave - the area was clear.

2045 Premise Check/ 8400 block Annapolis Rd - it was business as usual. 

2105 Premise Check/ 6600 block of Chestnut Ave the area was clear. 

2202 Sound of Gunshots/ 7400 block Leahy Rd - the caller advised they heard 5-10 gunshots in the area. Officers canvassed Potomac Ct and Jodie Ct with negative results. Officers checked vehicles and residences and there was no damage observed. No report

2230 Parking Violation/ 7900 block of Mahoney Dr. - while a patrolling the officer observed a vehicle in violation parked within 15 feet of a fire hydrant. A parking violation was issued.

2300 Premise Check/ 5500 block of Karen Elaine Dr and surrounding streets - the area was clear. 

2330 Premise Check/ 7700 block of Riverdale Rd - the complex was clear.

0015 Premise Check/ 8500 block Annapolis Rd -it was business as usual.

0100 Premise Check/ 6600 block Chestnut Ave -the area was clear.

0230 Domestic Arrest/ 8500 block Annapolis Rd - Officers detained the male who advised he was in an altercation with his girlfriend. Officers made contact with the girlfriend who was suffering from a physical assault. The boyfriend had bit the girlfriend lip off while they were fighting. The girlfriend was transported to PGH by EMS. The children were released to a family member. The boyfriend was transported to PGH for treatment and subsequently to PG DOC U/M for the presentation of charges. Report written

0657 Hours - Stolen Auto - 7700 Block of Riverdale Road: An unknown suspect stole the victim's vehicle during the overnight hours fleeing in an unknown direction. The victim was provided case numbers and advised to contact her insurance company.
