block Riverdale Rd - Officers made contact with the caller, who advised someone
knocked on his door. The caller opened and was assaulted by a male. The caller
then said the male entered the apartment looking for someone. It was later
discovered that the caller knew the male, who was the husband of a female
staying with him. The female was in the bedroom, during the incident. The
incident occurred 30 minutes prior to officers arrival. The male had left the
area already. The caller had no visible signs of an assault, but was evaluated
by the Prince George’s County Fire Department. Both the caller and female were

HIMSELF TO THE HOSPITAL, BUT THE PAIN WAS UNBEARABLE. FIREBOARD WAS REQUESTED,
ONCE THEY ARRIVED THEY TRANSPORTED THE MALE TO THE HOSPITAL PER HIS
REQUEST.

CALLER WHO STATED HE HEARD HIS WIFE'S VEHICLE ALARM GOING OFF. THEY DISCOVERED
THE DRIVER SIDE WINDOW HAD BEEN SHATTERED AND THE ONLY THING THAT WAS MISSING FROM
INSIDE THE VEHICLE WAS THE HANDICAP PLACARD HANGING FROM THE REAR VIEW WINDOW
SIMILAR TO THE ABOVE INCIDENT. OFFICERS OBSERVED TWO ADDITIONAL VEHICLES
DISPLAYING THE SAME DAMAGES, PARKED SIDE BY SIDE IN THE HANDICAP PARKING SPACES
NEXT TO THE CALLER'S VEHICLE. CONTACT WAS MADE TO THE OWNER'S OF THOSE VEHICLES
WHO ALSO CONFIRMED THAT THEIR HANDICAP PLACARDS WERE MISSING. ALL THE
INFORMATION NEEDED WAS OBTAINED, PHOTOGRAPHS WERE TAKEN, AND ALL PARTIES
WERE ADVISED.

HANDICAP PARKING SPOT WHEN HE DISCOVERED THE PASSENGER SIDE WINDOW HAD BEEN
SHATTERED. UPON ARRIVAL, THE CALLER STATED HIS HANDICAP PLACARD WAS GONE. WHEN
ASKED WHY HE MOVED HIS VEHICLE BEFORE CALLING TO REPORT IT, THE CALLER STATED
THE 911 EMERGENCY CALL TAKER ADVISED HIM HE COULD LEAVE THE SCENE AND MAKE A
REPORT OVER THE PHONE. OFFICERS DID NOT OBSERVE ANY SIGNS OF GLASS OR DEBRIS
NEAR OR AROUND THE PARKING SPACE HE STATED HE WAS PARKED IN. THE CALLER WAS
PROVIDED REFERENCE NUMBERS AND ADVISED TO CONTACT HIS INSURANCE
COMPANY.
