0730 HOURS - TRAFFIC ENFORCEMENT- 8400 BLOCK OF ANNAPOLIS RD.-OFFICERS ISSUED MARYLAND TRAFFIC CITATIONS AND WARNINGS TO THE OFFENDING DRIVERS FOR THE VARIOUS OBSERVED/DISCOVERED TRAFFIC VIOLATIONS; NO IMPOUNDS OR ARRESTS WERE CONDUCTED DURING THIS ENFORCEMENT ACTION. CODED- 576 (NO REPORT).

1010 HOURS- CIVIL DISPUTE- 5300 BLOCK 85TH AVE -  THE CALLER JUST WANTED POLICE PRESENT WHILE SHE RETURNED THE CHILDREN TO HER MOTHER WHO LIVES IN THE SAME APARTMENT COMPLEX. THE CHILDREN WERE SAFELY RETURNED TO THEIR PARENT WITHOUT INCIDENT. ALL PARTIES WERE ADVISED. CODED- 300 (NO REPORT).

1106 HOURS- ALARM- 8300 BLOCK LEGATION RD.-   OFFICERS MADE CONTACT WITH THE RESIDENT OF THE LOCATION WHO STATED SHE ACTIVATED THE ALARM SYSTEM ACCIDENTALLY AND DID NOT REQUIRE POLICE SERVICES. CODED- 378R (ACCIDENTAL BY HOMEOWNER).

1234 HOURS- ASSIST P.G.P.D.- 7700 BLOCK ANNAPOLIS RD.-  OFFICERS RESPONDED TO THE AREA TO ASSIST P.G.P.D. OFFICERS WITH A CANVAS FOR TWO ATTEMPTED CARJACKING SUSPECTS.  THE ATTEMPTED CARJACKING WAS NOT VERIFIED AS NO VICTIM OR SUSPECT INFORMATION WAS AVAILABLE. NO ACTION TAKEN, HANDLED BY P.G.P.D.

1318 HOURS- ACCIDENT- 8300 BLOCK ANNAPOLIS RD.-   OFFICERS WERE DISCONTINUED AND POLICE SERVICES WERE REFUSED BY THE TWO PARTIES WHO BOTH LEFT THE SCENE AFTER EXCHANGING PERSONAL INFORMATION. CODED- 300 NO ACCIDENT VERIFIED.

1415 HOURS - PREMISE CHECK - 5300/5400 85TH AVE.-   OFFICERS COMPLETED THE AREA PATROL WITHOUT OBSERVING ANY SUSPICIOUS OR ILLEGAL ACTIVITY. CODED- 318 (NO REPORT).

1505 HOURS- TRESPASSING- 8400 BLOCK ANNAPOLIS RD.-   LOSS PREVENTION STOPPED THE FEMALE IN QUESTION, SEARCHED HER WITH NEGATIVE RESULTS, AND DISCOVERED THE FEMALE DID NOT POSSESS ANY T/A MERCHANDISE. NO ACTION WAS TAKEN BY N.C.P.D. PERSONNEL ON SCENE. CODED- 300 NO THEFT VERIFIED

1635 HOURS- TRAFFIC ENFORCEMENT- 8000-8600 ANNAPOLIS RD.- OFFICERS ISSUED MARYLAND TRAFFIC CITATIONS AND WARNINGS TO THE OFFENDING DRIVERS FOR THE VARIOUS OBSERVED/DISCOVERED TRAFFIC VIOLATIONS; NO IMPOUNDS OR ARRESTS WERE CONDUCTED DURING THIS ENFORCEMENT ACTION.CODED- 576 (CITATIONS ISSUED).

1643 HOURS- MISSING PERSON- 6100 BLOCK LAMONT DR.-  CALLER WAS NOT ON SCENE. UPON CALL-BACK BY POLICE COMMUNICATIONS, THE CALLER REFUSED ALL POLICE SERVICES AS THEY HAD LOCATED THEIR CHILD, WHO RODE THE WRONG BUS HOME.  CODE- 300 NO REPORT.

1655 HOURS- ANIMAL CRUELTY- 7600 BLOCK VICAR PL.-   OFFICERS MADE CONTACT WITH THE RESIDENT AND HIS WIFE, WHO DO NOT OWN ANY PETS, BUT DRIVE A VEHICLE SIMILAR TO THE SUSPECT VEHICLE IN THE ANIMAL CRUELTY CASE.  ALL INFORMATION WAS GATHERED FROM THE RESIDENT, WHO WAS COOPERATIVE, AND HE WAS PROVIDED CASE NUMBERS FOR THIS INCIDENT.  CODE- 500 MPS. 1734 HOURS- SUSPICIOUS PERSON- 7700 BLOCK RIVERDALE RD.-   OFFICERS MADE CONTACT WITH THE T/A MANAGER, WHO STATED SHE HAD NEVER SEEN THE MALE BEFORE, THE MALE WAS NOT ASKED BY MANAGEMENT TO LEAVE THE LOCATION, AND THE MALE WALKED WEST ON ANNAPOLIS ROAD PRIOR TO OFFICERS ARRIVAL.  A CANVASS OF THE AREA WAS CONDUCTED WITH NEGATIVE RESULTS.  CODE- 300 G.O.A. (NO REPORT).

1741 hours - Domestic Standby - 8500 block Annapolis Road: The caller wants to retrieve her property from the room. Officers escorted her to the room and discovered that the room was empty. The caller was advised (300 no report).

1749 hours - Fraud -  5300 block 85th Avenue: The caller stated that his attorney took money out of his bank account without his permission. Officers met with the caller and discovered that the attorney's office is in Greenbelt, Maryland where the incident occurred. The caller was advised to contact Greenbelt PD. 300 (no report)   

1844 hours - Premise check – 8400 block Annapolis Road: All clear.

1921 hours - Family Dispute – 7300 block Longbranch Drive: The caller stated she did not require police action; however, wanted advice on how to handle the situation.  Officers provided The Mobile Family Crisis contact information and to seek further assistance through the Department of Juvenile Services if needed. 300 (no report)

2027 hours - Premise Check - 5200 & 5400 block of 85th Avenue: All clear.

2118 hours - Residential Alarm - 8300 block Carrollton Parkway: Officers made contact with the homeowner who stated that it was accidental and did not require police services. 378R (no report)

2156 hours - Property damage – 7600 block Riverdale Road: Officers met with the caller and advised him the incident occurred outside the city jurisdiction was provided the contact information to the non-emergency number for Prince George’s County Police Department. 300 (no report)

2234 hours - Premise check - 7700 & 7800 block of Riverdale Road: All clear. 

2332 hours - Roommate Dispute – 7700 block Riverdale Road: Officers responded to the location. Both parties advised. (300 no report)

0032 hours - Return call – 7700 block Riverdale Road: Officers met with the caller and his roommate again; officers found out that his roommate has not established a residency at that location and due to homeowners request the roommate was asked to leave the apartment without further incident. 0149 hours - Premise check - 5500 block of Karen Elaine Drive: All clear.

0227 hours - Premise check - 6000 block of Mentana Street: All clear.

0341 hours - Premise check – 8400 block Annapolis Road: All clear.
