0920 Premise Check/ 5500 block Karen Elaine Dr. / area was clear. 

1020 Hold Up Alarm/ 8300 block Annapolis Rd accidental by an employee in the office

1040 Lost Property/ 7700 block Riverdale Rd left prior to arrival. 

1200 Premise Check/ 7100 block Good Luck Rd assisting with school dismissal 

1310 Premise Check/ 6100 block Lamont Dr. / assisting with school dismissal

1328 Suspicious Person/ 8400 block Annapolis Rd store complained of a male loitering harassing customers. Officer’s arrived and stopped the male who checked negative for warrants and was sent on his way. REPORT WRITTEN

1405 Premise Check/ 5400 block 85th Ave area was clear

1416 Family Dispute/ 7400 block Leahy Rd / mother having a dispute with her son. 

1423 Hold Up Alarm/ 8300 block Annapolis Rd activate from the office. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the MOD who was unaware the alarm was activated. The store was business as usual.

1450 Theft/ 8400 block Annapolis Rd the owner of the oil disposal company has a video of the suspect stealing oil. The caller stated the male is stealing from several locations. REPORT WRITTEN

1520 Suspicious Vehicle/ 8400 block Annapolis Rd while finishing the above call for service, a citizen advised of a vehicle with a child inside unattended revving the engine. Officer’s searched the parking lot with negative results.

1640 Premise Check/ 7600 block Fontainebleau Dr. /met with property management. No issues were reported 

1740 hrs., 85th Ave and Westbrook Dr. / Child Custody, the parties were arguing in the vehicle and off duty unit asked for assistance.  Both parties settled it and went their separate ways and were advised what they needed to do.

1829 hrs., 6100 block 85th Pl/ Vehicle accident, minor damage to both vehicles and neither party claimed injury on scene.  Officers exchanged information between parties on scene.

1843 hrs., Annapolis Rd at the Entrance to the Beltway/ Vehicle accident, minor damage to both vehicles and neither party claimed injury on scene.  Officers exchanged information between parties on scene.

1915 hrs., Residential check/ 5300-5400 Block of 85th Ave, check clear.

1940 hrs., Residential check/ 5500 Block of Karen Elaine Dr. / check clear.

2000 hrs., Business check/ City of New Carrollton Pool, check clear.

2006 hrs., 7700 block Arehart Dr. / Unknown trouble, could hear kids on the phone but no response from them when asked what was wrong.  Resident called back said it was accidental by the children playing on the phone.  Officers were cancelled prior to arrival.

2035 hrs., Business check/ Carrollton Enterprise, check clear.

2110 hrs., Business check/ 7-11, check clear.

2135 hrs., Business check/ Plaza 30, check clear.

2145 hrs., 8300 Block of Sprague Pl/ Traffic stop, stop cleared without incident.

2151 hrs., 5400 block 85th Ave/ Sexual Assault call, caller stated she was approached by a female in her building who stated that she believed two men were following her in order to commit a sexual crime.  Caller stated she did not know the female and the female got into a silver car and left the area.  Caller refused to give her information to get possible information.  Officers canvassed the area with negative results.

2205 hrs., 7300 Block of Annapolis Rd/ Traffic stop, stop cleared without incident.

2215 hrs., Business check/ St Christopher’s church / check clear.

2248 hrs., 8100 block Annapolis Rd/ Traffic stop, stop cleared without incident.

2315 hrs., 7500 Block of Annapolis Rd/ Traffic stop, stop cleared without incident.

2344 hrs., 7500 Block of Riverdale Rd/ Traffic stop, stop cleared without incident.

2355 hrs., Business check/ Shoppers, check clear.

0003 hrs., 5800 block Mentana St/ Family Dispute, caller stated he was having an argument with his grandfather and his grandfather was going to kill him.  Officers arrived on scene to find the caller was intoxicated and on CDS walking in the yard.  Officers detained him until it was determined that the male made false accusations due to being intoxicated.  Officers ran the males information through NCIC and it came back with two open warrants, through Prince George's County Sheriff's Department. REPORT WRITTEN

0100 hrs., Business check/ 7-11, check clear.

0142 hrs., 8300 block Sprague Pl/ Unknown trouble, open line and the call taker could hear arguing about a phone and people stating it’s time to go to bed.  Officers arrived on scene to speak to the grandparents, who stated they advised their grandson it was time to get off of his phone and he was unhappy about that.  When the grandmother grabbed the phone from him it accidentally dialed 911 and they apologized.  All parties were advised.

0155 hrs., School check/ Charles Carroll Middle School, check clear.

0210 hrs., Business check/ Darcars Dodge, check clear.

0251 hrs., 8400 block Annapolis Rd/ Suspicious persons, caller stated three males were standing out front and when customers would come they would hide around the corner.  Finally when there were no customers they began to pull something up over their faces and that is when they ran in the back room and called 911.  Officers arrived and located the males, who had circled the building and headed down Annapolis Rd.  Officers stopped them and discovered they were juveniles; they were identified and ran for missing with negative results.  Juveniles were released to guardians from the scene. REPORT WRITTEN
