0625 hrs., Business check/ 7-11, check clear.

0710 hrs., 8400 block Annapolis Rd / Commercial alarm, alarm coming from the emergency exit.  Officers arrived on scene to speak to the manager on duty who stated it was accidental by him.

0736 hrs., Annapolis Rd at Veterans Hwy/ Accident, minor vehicle accident with minor property damage and no injuries.  Information was exchanged between parties by officers.

0840 hrs., Residential check/ 5500 Block of Karen Elaine Dr., Citizens complaint of Suspicious Persons loitering in front of buildings and around the vehicles, check clear. 

0920 hrs., School check/ Carrollton Elementary School, check clear.

0940 hrs., School check/ Lamont Elementary School, check clear.

1013 hrs., 5800 block Lamont Dr./ Theft, caller stated someone stole her phone.  Once officers arrived they spoke to a female who stated she misplaced her phone and when she called it someone picked up and said if she gave them twenty dollars they would give it back.  The caller pinged the phone to an area behind 7-11 on Annapolis Rd but was told to meet them around Mentana St in a van.  Officers looked for the van with negative results.  Caller was advised what action she could take with the phone.  

1030 hrs., Business check/ City of New Carrollton Pool, check clear.

1120 hrs., Station for an ERO sign off.

1153 hrs., 7900 block Annapolis Rd/ Vehicle accident, minor damage to both vehicle with no injury.  Information was exchanged between parties by officers on scene.

1235 hrs., 7900 block Legation Rd/ Suspicious vehicle unoccupied, caller stated there was a vehicle parked on this block that he did not recognize.  When he went to look he noticed possible police equipment inside.  Officers ran the information and it did not come back stolen.  We located the owner and advised him to lock up the equipment (which was from a security company he worked for.)

1240 hrs., 7500 block Riverdale Rd/ Assault, caller stated she lost her key a couple days ago and neighbors left them in the lobby for her to retrieve.  When she went to get them, they were missing.  She went to the office and watched video to determine who may have taken them.  She recognized the person and when she went to ask for her keys back, the male living there became upset and began being belligerent with her and her husband.  The husband states the male then pushed him away from his door and shut the door.  Officers attempted to contact the male but he was extremely uncooperative.  Officers obtained the information to provide to the caller and advised them to seek the assistance of the Commissioner.

1320 hrs., Business Check/ Beckett Field, check clear.  

1350 hrs., Business Check/ Carrollton Enterprise (Foot Patrol), check clear.

1415 hrs., Business Check/ Plaza 30, check clear.

1454 hrs., 5900 block 85th Ave/ Residential Alarm, Officers were cancelled by the alarm company while on scene.

1510 hrs., Station call, 6300 block Westbrook Dr./ Vandalism, males vandalized the front glass door and window with a pellet gun.  REPORT WRITTEN

1530 hrs., Lamont Dr. at Lamont Terrace/ Traffic stop, vehicle was stopped for a traffic violation and during the investigation was discovered the driver did not have a valid license.  Vehicle was impounded and several citations were issued to the driver. REPORT WRITTEN

1630 hrs., Residential check/ 5300-5400 Block of 85th Ave, Citizens complaint of Suspicious Persons loitering in front of buildings and around the vehicles, check clear. 

1700 hrs., Business check/ 7-11, check clear. 

1820 Domestic/ 5700 block 85th Ave husband was on the scene causing a problem. He was served with a protective order. PGSO arrived and retrieved the return of service. REPORT WRITTEN

2030 Premise Check/ 85th Ave Apts area was clear

2200 Premise Check/ 8300 block Annapolis Rd area was clear

2300 Premise Check/ Public Works area was clear

2320 Family Dispute/ 5500 block Karen Elaine Dr./ granddaughter was mad her grandmother who filed for her eviction. 

0007 Premise Check/ 8400 block Annapolis Rd business as usual

0015 911 Open Line/ 7400 block Riverdale Rd/ the building is under construction. Officers walked around the building and did not recognize any issues

0110 Premise Check/ 7700 block Riverdale Rd /business closed, parking lot clear

0234 Premise Check/ 5500 block Karen Elaine Drive /area was clear, no suspicious activity observed

0310 Commercial Alarm/ 8400 block Annapolis Rd /inside motion front and rear, all doors and windows were secure. 

0355 Commercial Alarm/ 8400 block Annapolis Rd /inside motion front and rear, all doors and windows were secure


0410 Premise Check/ 8400 block Annapolis Rd / business as usual

0657 Hours - Stolen Auto - 7700 Block of Riverdale Road: An unknown suspect stole the victim's vehicle during the overnight hours fleeing in an unknown direction. The victim was provided case numbers and advised to contact her insurance company. Officers responded and made contact with the subject who advised he was on the bus all night and needed a place to sleep. The male checked negative for warrants and was sent on his way.
