Once on the scene, officers made contact with code enforcement who stated a vehicle was in violation and needed to be towed. The owner was not on the scene, but friends and family came out to dispute the tow. All parties were advised and the vehicle was impounded without incident. No Report

0235 Hours -Suspicious Occupied Vehicle- 7500 Block of Riverdale Rd: Officers, while on patrol, observed a white Honda van sitting at the back of the location. Upon seeing officers drive past, the vehicle drove away. Officers checked vehicles in the area for any thefts with no results. Officers then attempted to gain more information about the vehicle. It was found that the suspects inside the vehicle stole tags from another vehicle and displayed them on the van. Due to the location and evasive driving of the van, it is suspected that the van was in the area to commit rim/tire theft. No Report

Upon clearing this call, officers observed two more vehicles in the parking lot that were vandalized similarly. These vehicles were all documented and case numbers were left on the vehicles.
