HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY!!!


0550 Hours – Vehicle Accident / DUI Arrest – 6600 Block of Lamont Drive: Officers responded to the scene for a vehicle collision hitting multiple parked vehicles. Officers were able to recognize the signs of the driver being intoxicated. The Driver was charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol. Tino’s Towing Company was contacted and the vehicle was impounded. Report written


0842 Hours – Suicide Attempt – 6100 Block of Lamont Dr: Officers responded to the area for a male subject who was suicidal. The male subject sent messages to the family about his attempt. Upon arrival, officers and the mother spoke with the male subject. After further speaking with the male subject, he became aggressive, taking a combative stance multiple times, causing him to be detained. The male subject was transported to Laurel Medical Center for an emergency psychiatric evaluation. Report written


1006 Hours – Disorderly – 8400 Block of Annapolis Rd: The caller advised of a male subject panhandling. The male subject was advised and sent on his way. No report


1220 Hours – Disorderly – 5400 Block of 85th Ave: The caller advised of a male subject having an episode and throwing things from the balcony. The officer made contact with the male who was destroying his own property. No report



1258 Hours – Armed Person – 5300 Block of 85th Ave: The caller stated that a male subject was bothering him and that he would shoot the male subject. No further information on the individual. Officers canvassed the area yielding negative results. The caller was uncooperative over the phone and stated he left the area. No Report


1400 Hours – Premise Check – 8400 Block of Annapolis Rd: Officers checked the area for suspicious activity, but nothing was found. No Report


1500 Hours – Premise Check – 8500 Block of Legation Rd: Officers checked the area for suspicious activity, but nothing was found. No Report

1850 Hours -Suspicious Person- 5400 Block of 85th Ave: Officers responded to this location for a report of a group of people standing in front of the building. Officers made contact with the group and found they were residents having a cookout a safe distance away from the building. No report


1904 Hours -Premise Check-8400 Block of Annapolis Rd: Officers conducted a check of this location for any issues. No report


1916 Hours -Vandalism- 7800 Block of Riverdale Rd: Officers responded to this location for a report of vandalism to an auto. Officers gathered all necessary information and provided the caller with case numbers. Report written 


2030 Hours -Suspicious Person- 6400 Block of Inlet St: Officers responded to this location for a report of three males going through bags in a U-Haul outside of a residence. It was found that the males were attempting to leave the neighborhood and were trying to locate the address to where they were going. No report
