0930 hrs., 8000 Block Annapolis Rd/ Commercial Alarm, alarm company stated the alarm was coming from the side door.  Officers arrived to speak to an employee of the church who was doing paperwork.  He stated he was unable to shut the alarm off, due to malfunction, and was contacting the alarm company for maintenance.  No Report.

 

0945 hrs., 6600 Block Auburn Ave/ Domestic standby, caller stated she needed some items from inside the residence.  When officers asked what kind of items she stated empty containers and hair products.  She was advised to call the Sheriff's Department for assistance due to court order paperwork.  No Report.

 

0955 hrs., 7600 Block Fountainebleau Dr. / Disorderly, caller was maintenance who stated that there was water heater leaking in an upstairs apartment but when they went to check the bottom apartment the males refused to let them in to check.  Maintenance called to have officers assist with the entry into the apartment.  They were advised what action they could take.  No Report.

 

1014 hrs., Riverdale Rd at Fountainebleau Dr / Accident, while on patrol officers heard a collision in this area.  Officers arrived to see two vehicles involved in a collision up on the curbs.  Both refused medical treatment on scene and one vehicle was impounded for safekeeping.  Report written

 

1130 hrs., Premise check/ Beckett Field and Hanko building, check clear.

 

1204 hrs., 7500 Block Riverdale Rd/ Disorderly, caller stated she was having an argument with a male.  Officers arrived to talk to both parties and the male half stated that he was attempting to get a key and a parking pass back from the female.  The caller stated she is willing to give it back to him when she is finished moving out her belongings.  Field Ops was completed.

1415 hrs., Premise check/ 5500 Block of Karen Elaine Dr, check clear.

 

1433 hrs., CVS Pharmacy/ Theft, caller was the manager who stated a male came in and concealed several items of lotion.  Prior to the male leaving, the manager was able to retrieve the items back from the male.  Officers checked the area with negative results.  No Report.

 

1500 hrs., Premise check/ Plaza 30, check clear.

 

1540 hrs., Premise check/ Shops at New Carrollton, check clear.

 

1605 hrs., Parking lot in front of Shoppers/ Check on welfare, caller flagged officers down for a male lying on the ground.  Officers located the male who was passed out but breathing.  Officers observed the male was extremely intoxicated and possible medical issues.  Fireboard arrived and treated the male, they advised he was good to go home, he lives across the street in Heritage Square.  Handled by fireboard medical issue, No Report.

 

1636 hrs., 6000 Block 84th Ave/ Disorderly, caller stated the male staying with him was intoxicated and he wanted him to leave.  The male agreed to leave the residence and wait for a ride.  No Report.

1804 HRS. Welfare Check. 6000 Block of Westbrook Dr. – Officers responded to the listed location for a male subject who was under the influence of alcohol with his pants down. Once on scene officers located the male subject on 85th Ave with his pants on, the male subject was intoxicated and refused medical assistance. The male subject was transported to a safe location upon his request without further incident. No Report

1850 HRS. CUTTING. 8500 Block Annapolis Rd. – Officers responded to the listed location for a cutting. Once on scene officers made contact with the store owner who stated two of his employees were in a physical fight. The store manager then advised one of the employees to stab the other causing injury to that employee. Fire and Ems arrived on the scene and treated the victim and transported him to a local hospital for further treatment. The suspect fled the scene in an unknown direction and by unknown means.  Prince George’s County Police CID along with the New Carrollton CID arrived on the scene and conducted their investigation. NC3 was contacted and also notified of the incident. Report Written

Once on scene officer made contact with the couple at the listed location. Both parties stated they were having issues but had already separated at home to avoid conflict with one another. Both parties refused police services and stated all was ok and handled. No Report

2356 HRS. BREAKING & ENTERING. 7600 Block Riverdale Rd. – Officers responded to the listed location and met with the caller who stated his cable box had been stolen. Officers entered the residence that showed no signs of forced entry. Officers then located the “stolen” cable box next to the TV connected and functioning. The caller then stated someone must have put the box back. Officers advised the caller and returned back to patrol. No Report

0034 HRS. WELFARE CHECK. 8500 Block Annapolis Rd. – Officers responded to the listed location for a possible domestic fight on the 5th floor of the hotel. Once on scene officers located the room with the sounds of fighting. Officers then made contact with the occupants of the room, who advised they were on the phone in an argument with someone else. Officers asked for both parties to lower their voices so others may not be disturbed. No Report

0657 Hours - Stolen Auto - 7700 Block of Riverdale Road: An unknown suspect stole the victim's vehicle during the overnight hours fleeing in an unknown direction. The victim was provided case numbers and advised to contact her insurance company.
