0715 Unknown Trouble/ 8300 block Annapolis Rd - caller dialed 911 requested assistance and disconnected. Officers responded, checked the area with negative results. No report

0900 Disorderly/ 5900 block Westbrook Dr. - caller advised he has a protective order against a resident.  Officers responded and the caller failed to arrive in the scene. No report

0950 Premise Check/ 8400 block Annapolis Rd - it was business as usual

1120 Premise Check/ 6100 block Lamont Dr. - the area was clear. 

1331 Animal Complaint/ 6100 block 84th Ave - caller advised he was chased by a dog. The caller was not injured. Animal control was notified. No report

1426 Check Welfare/ 5500 block Karen Elaine Dr. - the neighbor requested officers to check on a neighbor who she believes is being abused. As the neighbor is only seen at night. 

1440 Premise Check/ Legation Rd @ Topton St - the area was clear

1515 Area Check/ 7900 block Annapolis Rd - PGPD was dispatched to a theft from auto. The suspect fled to the Staples parking lot. NCPD officers canvassed the area showing a presence to deter criminal activity. 

1535 Area Check/ 6100 block Lamont Dr. - station call for pedestrian and vehicle traffic. It was dismissal from school.

1558 Accident/ 7800 block Riverdale Rd - a PGCPS bus sign was sideswiped by a box truck. PGPD responded and handled the investigation. No report

1616 Premise Check/ 8100 block Gavin St - there was no vehicle or foot traffic in the area. 

1626 Disorderly/ 5900 block Westbrook Dr. - caller thought her son was coming to the residence. Officers made contact with the son who was walking home in the area. He was reminded of the protective order. No report

1730 Disorderly/ 5500 block Karen Elaine Dr. - caller wanted information on how to properly evict someone. They were advised about the procedures. No report

1820 hrs., 8300 block Nicholson St/ Fraud, caller stated he checked his account and noticed several thousand dollars missing.  He went to the bank and they advised him to file a police report.  Report written

1900 hrs., Premise Check/ Metro Points Hotel, check clear.

1910 hrs., Metro Points Hotel Garage/ Suspicious Vehicle occupied, while on patrol officers located a vehicle parked in the garage while running.  Officers checked on the occupants of the vehicle and they were guests of the hotel.  No Report.

1945 hrs., Premise Check/ Shops at New Carrollton, check clear.

2005 hrs., Premise Check/ Plaza 30, check clear.

2040 hrs., 5300 block 85th Ave/ Domestic Dispute, The male half was gone prior to officer’s arrival, and the female half changed her story several times to officers.  She just kept saying she wanted him arrested.  Officers found no signs of any physical altercation and she was advised on what she needed to do.  Report written

2110 hrs., Premise Check/ New Carrollton Public Library, check clear.

2158 hrs., 6200 block of Westbrook Dr. / Traffic stop with arrest, Officers made a traffic stop on a vehicle.  Once the stop was completed and the Officer was walking away, the driver put the car in reverse and hit the gas accelerating in the direction of the officer.  The vehicle narrowly missed the Officer and the driver was stopped several miles down the roadway.  Officers stopped the vehicle, the driver exited and began to fight with officers.  Officers got the driver into custody and the vehicle was subsequently impounded.  Report written

2239 hrs., Quentin St and Lamont Dr. / Vehicle Accident, two vehicles were involved in a minor damage accident.  Both parties stated there were no injuries and information was exchanged by Officers.  No Report.

2240 hrs., 7-11/ Disorderly, caller advised there was a male in the business bothering customers.  The male was stopped and advised to stop asking customers for money, he was sent on his way.  No Report.

2240 hrs., 7200 block Longbranch Dr. / Noise Complaint, caller advised there was a big party with loud music.  Officers arrived and advised the homeowner to turn the music down, they complied with no issues and apologized.  No Report.

2248 hrs., 8300 block Nicholson St/ Residential Alarm, Officers cleared the house and found no signs of forced entry or any entry.  The homeowner stated he may not have shut the door like he thought.  No Report.

0015 hrs., 7600 block Fountainebleau Dr. / Lost Property, caller advised she just got home and lost her purse.  Officers spoke to the caller who stated she now believes she lost her purse at her mother’s residence in Tacoma Park.  No Report.

0140 hrs., Annapolis Rd at Veterans Hwy/ Traffic stop, stop cleared without incident.

0250 hrs., 5900 block Westbrook Dr. / Vehicle accident, owner of the vehicles struck called and advised someone struck his vehicles then fled on foot.  When Officers arrived the area was canvassed with nothing found, the vehicle had plates that belonged to another vehicle displayed.  Vehicle was impounded and tags removed.   Report written
