0715 hrs. Crossing Guard Assignment- Lamont Dr. & Good Luck Rd.- Officers assisted students and citizens across the busy intersection.

0810 Hrs. Traffic Enforcement 85th Place & 87th Place. - Officers conducted traffic enforcement for speeding vehicles in the area.

0844 hrs. Accident Annapolis Rd & Veterans Pkwy. - Officer responded to a two-vehicle accident. The drivers of the vehicles conducted an information exchange prior to officers' arrival.

1840 Welfare Check/ 5300 block 85th Ave/ Caller advised there were children staying at home by themselves due to their mother being in the hospital. Officers responded to the scene and spoke with the mother who advised that she been home and was not in the hospital. The kids looked healthy and advised they were fine. No Report

1905 Theft/ 7700 block Riverdale Rd / Officers responded to the scene and spoke to the caller who advised 2 males stole items from the store and as they were leaving the store he tried to stop them and they threatened to shoot him if he got any closer to them. Report Written

2042 Death/ 7300 block Longbranch Dr. / Due to the caller not having a key to the residence, Fireboard forced entry. Officers observed the male in question deceased in his bathroom. Officers secured the scene. Prince George's County Homicide Detectives were notified; they arrived on scene along with the Medical Examiner and Forensics team to commence their investigative duties. The deceased was released to the Medical Examiner's office pending the investigation for the cause of death. NCPD 3 was notified of the incident. Report Written

0228 Stolen Auto/ 5500 block Karen Elaine Dr. / The caller advised officers the tag info and what type of vehicle it was. The caller was advised to contact Prince George's County Police Department because the suspect who stole her car crashed it into a pole and PG County Officers did a report for it. No Report

The victim was provided case numbers and advised to contact her insurance company.
