0626 hrs., Accident - 8600 block of Annapolis Road, Officer was canceled while in route, because the accident occurred in the 9000 block of Annapolis Road, in front of Red Lobster, handle by PGPD no report. 

0800 hrs., Premise Check - 5328-5334 85th avenue, Officers checked the area of the torched buildings, everything clear, private security on the scene. No report.

1030 hrs., Suspicious unoccupied vehicle – 7400 block Farmcrest Drive - Officers patrolling the area and LPR scanner revealed a car with suspended registration plates parked on the public roadway. A parking citation and a 48 hr removal notice issued.

1043 hrs., Suspicious unoccupied vehicle- 6400 block of Inlet Street, Officers patrolling area and LPR scanner notified a vehicle with suspended registration, parked on the public roadway. Parking citation and 48 hr removal notice issued. 

1055 hrs., Tag Pick Up Order - 7400 block of Leahy Street, Officer patrolling area, the LPR system alerted the Officer of a gray 2011 Honda Accord bearing Maryland registration for a tag pick up order effective 10/05/2018. The registration plates recovered and a parking citation and 48hr removal notice issued. REPORT WRITTEN 

1455 Hrs., Accident - Veterans Parkway & Ellen Road, Accident involving a semi-truck and car, however; the incident occurred in “G” sector pass RT. 50, handle by PGPD no report. 

1634 hrs., Theft – 8400 block Annapolis Road, Caller reported a customer attempted to steal candy, however; the suspect left before officers arrived. No theft verified, and the caller refused further police services. No report. 

1823 Hours - Warrant Service – 8400 block Annapolis Road - Officers responded to the location for a disorderly male that Officers are familiar with. After conducting a warrant check, it was discovered that he possessed an open warrant through Prince George's County for trespassing. The male was then placed under arrest and transported to Hyattsville DOC without further incident. REPORT WRITTEN

1832 Hours - Accident - E/B 8600 Block of Annapolis Rd. - Officers observed two vehicles stopped due to an accident. Unit 1 rear-ended Unit 2. There were no injuries and both vehicles suffered cosmetic damages, an information exchange was conducted. No Report. 

1836 Hours - Assault - N.C.P.D. Headquarters -  An Officer responded to the location to meet with the complainant who stated she was a teacher at Thomas Jefferson Middle School and had been assaulted by one of her students. The complainant was advised to contact P.G.P.D. for assistance due to the school being outside of our jurisdiction. No report. 

1940 Hours - Premise Check - 8300 Block of Annapolis Road - All clear.

2035 Hours - Accident - Annapolis Road & Harkins Road - While on patrol an Officer observed an accident take place at the intersection. Unit 1 made a left turn from Annapolis Rd on to Harkins Rd causing Unit 2 to strike the front passenger side of the vehicle. Both vehicles suffered disabling damages and were subsequently impounded by Charlie's Towing. The driver and passenger of Unit 2 were transported to PGH for possible injuries. REPORT WRITTEN

2136 Hours - Disorderly – 6600 block Auburn Ave - Officers responded to the location and made contact with the caller who stated he was receiving unwanted text  messages and calls from an unknown number. The caller was advised to contact his cell phone provider and consider changing his telephone number or blocking the phone number he's receiving the calls and texts from. No report. 

2232 Hours - Assist P.G.P.D. (Accident) - 6010 Princess Garden Pkwy - Officers observed an accident at the location  involving a possible intoxicated driver, Officers requested for P.G.P.D. units to respond due to the accident occurring in their jurisdiction. Ultimately handled by P.G.P.D. No report.

2340 Hours - Premise Check- 5300-5400 Block of 85th Ave - All clear.
