0600 hrs., Annapolis Rd and Veterans Hwy/ Accident, assist Night Shift with the accident that occurred at the intersection involving several vehicles.  

0700 hrs., 7700 Block of Riverdale Rd/ School bus and student safety detail.  Officers are in the area to make sure students getting on the buses are safe, check clear.

0745 hrs., Business check/ Plaza 30, check clear.

0800 hrs., Residential check/ 5300-5400 Block of 85th Ave, check clear.

0806 hrs., 6100 Block of Lamont Dr. / Traffic stop, stop cleared without incident.

0825 hrs., Westbrook Dr. and Verona Dr./ Traffic stop, stop cleared without incident.

0838 hrs., Westbrook Dr. and 85th Ave/ Traffic stop, stop cleared without incident.

0854 hrs., 7500 Block of Annapolis Rd/ Traffic stop, stop cleared without incident.

0903 hrs., 8400 block Annapolis Rd/ Traffic stop, stop cleared without incident.

0920 hrs., Station call/ Missing juveniles from last night have been located by the Hyattsville Police Department and Officers were called.  The juveniles stated to the Hyattsville Officers that they were afraid to go home due to threats of punishment.  Hyattsville Officers took them to the interview room where Detectives from New Carrollton met them for an interview. REPORT WRITTEN

1000 hrs., Station call for a vehicle release, vehicle was released with no incident.

1020 hrs., Residential check/ 5500 Block of Karen Elaine Dr. / check clear.

1100 hrs., 7300 block Gavin St/ Family Dispute, caller stated she and her son were having an argument and she wants him evaluated for mental issues.  Officers advised her of what action she can take to have him evaluated.  She did not want us to contact anyone at this time she wanted to do it on her time.

1130 hrs., 7300 block Gavin St/ Return call, caller stated that her son left the house and she was afraid he may hurt himself.  Caller wanted Officers to look for him.  Officers arrived on scene and located the son sitting outside, he stated he was upset and embarrassed so he walked outside to cool down.  He gave no indication to Officers he was going to do harm to himself.  The caller was again advised what needed to be done.

1216 hrs., Annapolis Rd and Veterans Hwy/ Traffic stop, stop cleared without incident.

1230 hrs., 7600 block Riverdale Rd/ Follow up, assisted Detective with the release of the juveniles to their Father, clear without incident.

1249 hrs., 7500 Block of Annapolis Rd/ Traffic stop, stop cleared without incident.

1330 hrs., Business check/ Carrollton Enterprise, check clear.

1415 hrs., Business check/ Beckett Field, check clear.

1445 hrs., Residential check/ 5300-5400 Block of 85th Ave, check clear.

1501 hrs., Annapolis Rd  and Veterans Hwy/ Traffic stop, stop cleared without incident.

1518 hrs., 7500 Block of Annapolis Rd/ Traffic stop, stop cleared without incident.

1540 hrs., Residential check/ 5400-5500 Block of 85th Ave, check clear.

1655 hrs., 7300 block Gavin St/ Residential Alarm, alarm company stated it was coming from the front door.  Officers arrived to find the homeowner on scene and stated it was accidental.  

1715 hrs., 7700 block Arehart Dr. / Burglary, caller stated he left for work this morning and when he returned his door was locked but Officers found it forced open.  Caller stated several items were stolen from his residence.  Detectives from New Carrollton Police were notified.  The residence was processed and Officers explained to the caller what he would need to do to assist us with the investigation. REPORT WRITTEN

1935 Premise Check/ 8300 block Oglethorpe St / area was clear

2001 Premise Check/ 7400 block Riverdale Rd / area was clear

2130 Premise Check/ 8400 block Annapolis Rd / area was clear

2153 Suspicious Vehicle/ 6500 block Inlet St / vehicle was occupied parked at the dead end. REPORT WRITTEN

2305 School Alarm/ 6100 block Lamont Dr. / officer was on scene and advised custodial staff was leaving

2309 Hit & Run/ 8500 block Annapolis Rd / accident occurred in another sector. 

2340 Commercial Alarm/ 8400 block Annapolis Rd / accidental by delivery driver 

2355 Premise Check/ 7700 block Riverdale Rd / store closing for the evening 

0216 Suspicious Vehicle/ 5500 block Karen Elaine Dr. / vehicle in the parking lot with its lights on. Officers observed the vehicle occupied and subjects smoking marijuana. The subjects were checked for warrants with negative results. A small amount of marijuana was recovered. REPORT WRITTEN

0316 Check Welfare/ 8600 Block Annapolis Rd / EMS was flagged down by a citizen who wanted to hurt themselves. Officers checked the citizen for weapons and EMS transported the subject 

0430 Premise Check/ 85th Ave Apts. / area was clear

  0630 hrs., Premise check/ Shoppers Food (Foot Patrol), check clear.   0645 hrs., Premise check/ Lowe's, check clear.   0700 hrs., 8000 block Powhattan St/ Suspicious persons, caller stated there was a person sleeping inside of a vehicle parked in front of their residence.  Officers located the vehicle and the persons inside sleeping.  Officers checked the individuals and the vehicle and observed nothing illegal at this time.  The individuals were advised and sent on their way.  Report written   0745 hrs., Premise check/ 7-11, check clear.   0821 hrs., 7600 block Fountainbleau Dr/ 911 Hang-up, communications stated there was a call from this address but prior to getting any information the phone hung up.  On callback communications stated there was no answer, only a prerecorded message.  Officers checked the rental office and it was locked and secure with no one inside.  No Report.   0847 hrs., 86...
