0600 hrs., 85th Ave and Annapolis Rd/ Accident, Officers canvassed the area with nothing found.  This call was transferred by Maryland State Police and there was no information given.

0655 hrs., 8300 block Verona Dr. / Stolen vehicle, caller stated that they parked their vehicle last night and when they woke up this morning it was gone.  Officers checked for impound but it was not impounded at this time.  REPORT WRITTEN

0700 hrs., 8600 block Preston St/ Theft from Auto, caller stated someone broke the passenger side window and entered the vehicle.  At this time they stole the steering wheel airbag from the vehicle.  REPORT WRITTEN

0745 hrs., Business check/ Metro Points Hotel, check clear.

0825 hrs., Residential check/ 5300-5400 Block of 85th Ave, check clear.

0933 hrs., 8100 Block of Annapolis Rd/ Traffic stop, stop cleared without incident.

0941 hrs., 8100 Block of Annapolis Rd/ Traffic stop, stop cleared without incident.

0956 hrs., 8600 Block of Annapolis Rd/ Traffic stop, stop cleared without incident.

1010 hrs., Business check/ City of New Carrollton Pool, check clear.

1023 hrs., 7800 Block of Topton St/ Suspicious vehicles, Officers located two vehicles parked at the end of the street with two of the same tags on.  Once Officers ran the tags and the VIN numbers it was discovered that the tags did not belong to either vehicle. Neither vehicle was registered.  Both vehicles were impounded for safekeeping for the owner to get proper registration. REPORT WRITTEN

1056 hrs., 6200 block 86th Ave/ Theft from Auto, same as the call listed above the passenger side window was broken out and the steering wheel airbag was stolen. REPORT WRITTEN

1107 hrs., 8300 block Annapolis Rd/ Unknown trouble, caller stated the door of Metro PCS is locked but the backdoor is open.  The store was to open at 10 and the lights and open sign were on.  Officers arrived on scene and were cancelled at the same time.  Officers spoke to the clerk who stated he fell asleep in the back and lost track of time.  There was no problem at this time.

1140 hrs., Business check/ Plaza 30, check clear.

1215 hrs., 5300 block 85th Ave/ Abuse of a child, caller stated the mother of his child's new husband caused to their daughter.  This incident occurred in Silver Hill, MD and Prince George's County Police were advised and handled the incident.  Officers stayed until County Police arrived.  

1332 hrs., 5900 block 87th Ave/ Theft from auto, caller advised their passenger side window was broken.  Officers arrived to discover the steering wheel airbag had been taken out of the vehicle as well. REPORT WRITTEN

1350 hrs., Harland St and Gairlock St/ Noise complaint, anonymous caller advised there was loud music coming from the area.

1420 hrs., Station call/ Stolen vehicle, caller was at the Police station to report their vehicle being stolen from Topton St.  Officers arrived to inform the caller the vehicle was impounded and what action he needed to take to get the vehicle back.  At this time he did not have the proper paperwork to get the vehicle release.

1440 hrs., School check/ Charles Carroll Middle School, check clear.

1500 hrs., Business check/ New Carrollton Public Library, check clear.

1530 hrs., Business check/ 7-11, check clear.

1545 hrs., 7700 Block of Annapolis Rd/ Traffic stop, stop cleared without incident.

1615 hrs., Business check/ Carrollton Enterprise, check clear.

1640 hrs., 6400 block 85th Pl/ Theft from auto, caller advised their passenger side window was broken.  Officers arrived to discover the steering wheel airbag had been taken out of the vehicle as well. REPORT WRITTEN

1955 Assault/ 8300 block Annapolis Rd / caller advised a male punched him in the face from the rear. The suspect fled in an unknown direction.

2005 Robbery/ 7700 block Riverdale Rd / the victim was walking in the parking lot. Where she was approached from behind and the suspect attempted to grab her purse. The victim fell down to the ground where he fled on foot. PGPD RST responded and NC 2 was notified. REPORT WRITTEN 

2240 Premise Check/ 8100 block Annapolis Rd / area was clear

2257 Premise Check/ 5500 Block Karen Elaine Drive / area was clear

2313 Loud Music/ 7600 block Fontainebleau Drive / loud music in the building. Officer made contact and the music was lowered.

2323 Loud Music/ 6000 block 84th Ave / resident playing loud music. Officer made contact and the music was lowered.

0012 Loud Music/ 5300 block 85th Ave resident complained of loud music. The music was lowered

0026 ACRS/ 7900 block Legation Rd / a driver struck a parked vehicle and was disabled from the accident. The vehicle was impounded by Charlie's Towing for safekeeping. REPORT WRITTEN

0048 Domestic/ 5500 block Karen Elaine Drive / male and female had a physical altercation outside of the city. The male followed the female to her residence. The male stated he wanted to see his child. The male was advised and sent on his way. The female was provided case numbers and advised to seek relief through the District Court Commissioner. REPORT WRITTEN

0130 Premise Check/ 85th Ave Apts. / area was clear

0215 Loud Music/ 7600 block Fontainebleau Drive / caller complained of loud music. Officers made contact and the music was lowered.

0415 Check Welfare/ 8500 block Powhatan St / caller requested officers check on his children. Officers responded and spoke with a resident. Who advised the parent was not on scene and neither were the children.
