1215 hrs., Meineke/
Disorderly person / caller stated a patron was upset at work that had not been
done to their satisfaction. Male refused to leave until he talked to the
mechanics, but the caller stated it was not their policy. Officers
arrived and advised the male if he had an issue he needed to talk to Management
or Corporate and it was a civil matter. He was advised and sent on his
way.
1245 hrs., Business check/ Metro Points Hotel (Foot Patrol), check
clear.
1320 hrs., Finns Lane
7-11/ Assist Prince George's County Police with a Suspicious Person.
Units were all busy with a possible burglary and one unit stopped a male
possibly matching the description so our Officers assisted for safety.
1350 hrs., School check/ Charles Carroll Middle School, check
clear.
1439 hrs., 8300 Block of
Annapolis Rd/ Traffic stop, stop cleared without incident.
1449 hrs., 5300 block 85th
Ave/ Missing Person, caller wanted to report her brother missing for the last
two days. Officers arrived on scene and there was no answer at the
door. Contact was made with the caller who stated that she was not home and
she thought she could just do it over the phone and would call back later.
1528 hrs., 8000 block
Quentin St/ Disorderly, caller stated the Landlord and his wife are harassing
her about moving out. The caller stated the wife will text her all day
long stating she needs to move out. The Landlord states he does what he
needs to do in notifying the caller but she states he does not. All
parties were advised.
1554 hrs., 5300 block 85th
Ave/ Apartment fire, Officers assisted the fire department with evacuating the
building, crowd control, and blocking off of the roadways. The top floor
of the apartment was engulfed in flames upon Officers arrival. Due to the
extensive damage to the building Officers wrote the initial report, it will be
investigated by Prince George's County Fire Marshal's Office. NC1, 2, 3,
and 4 were all on scene and notified of the incident. Assistance from
other Officers in the department was utilized and appreciated.
1800 Assist/ 5300 block 85th Ave assisted day work with building fire
1900 Disorderly/ 5500 block Karen Elaine Dr. / caller
wanted a housemate removed.
1950 ACRS/ 8400 block Annapolis Rd unit 1 struck unit 2 in the rear. REPORT
WRITTEN
2045 Check Welfare/ 6100 block 86th Ave / male
fell outside his residence. EMS assisted the back inside
2103 DUI Arrest/ 5300 block 85th Ave male was observed by
officer driving on the wrong side of the road. The suspect was taken into
custody and transported to Dept. of Corrections for presentation of charges. REPORT
WRITTEN
2147 Suspicious Person/ 6400 block 85th Ave male walking in the
wood line. Officers checked the area with negative results
