0630 hrs., Business check/ 7-11, check clear.

0705 hrs., Business check/ Shoppers (Foot Patrol), check clear.

0750 hrs., 6100 block 85th Ave/ Parking complaint, caller states the neighbor has illegally registered vehicles on the roadway and driveway.  The caller also claims they are selling vehicles from that location.  Code Enforcement and MVA were both notified of the vehicles but the ones on the street are all legally registered.

0830 hrs., School check/ Charles Carroll Middle School, check clear.

0900 hrs., School check/ Carrollton Elementary School, check clear.

0920 hrs., 5900 block 89th Ave/ Alarm call, the alarm was activated and coming from the living room motion.  Officers checked all doors and windows, which were all secured.  Unknown cause for the activation.

0940 hrs., Residential check/ 5300-5400 Block of 85th Ave, Citizens complaint of Suspicious Persons loitering in the building hallways, laundry rooms, front of buildings and around the vehicles, check clear.

1010 hrs., 8400 block Annapolis Rd/ Stolen/Recovered tags arrest, Officers observed a vehicle running unoccupied and unsecured.  While investigating an attempt to locate the owner of the vehicle, Officers discovered the vehicle registration tags were stolen.  The owner finally showed up on scene and was issued a criminal citation and the vehicle was impounded. REPORT WRITTEN

1130 hrs., School Check/ Margaret Brent Special School, check clear.

1150 hrs., Lamont Dr. at Powhatan St/ Disabled Vehicle, Officers assisted with the tire changing on a citizens vehicle due to their tire being flat.  Tire was changed with no problems.

1230 hrs., Business check/ Plaza 30, check clear.

1250 hrs., Residential check/ 5300-5400 Block of 85th Ave, Citizens complaint of Suspicious Persons loitering in the building hallways, laundry rooms, front of buildings and around the vehicles, check clear.

1305 hrs., Foodway/ Lost wallet, caller stated he lost his wallet somewhere and at some time.  He had no information to assist Officers.  He was advised on what action he needed to take.

1320 hrs., Residential check/ 5500 Block of Karen Elaine Dr. /Citizens complaint of Suspicious Persons loitering in the building hallways, laundry rooms, front of buildings and around the vehicles, check clear.

1400 hrs., Business check/ Carrollton Enterprise, check clear.

1445 hrs., 6100 Block of 87th Ave/ Suspicious Person, caller stated there was a male with a clipboard knocking at her door.  Officers stopped the male down the street and he stated he was selling services (home improvement projects).  He was advised he needed a permit that he did not have, he was picked up by his manager and they left the area.

1510 hrs., Residential check/ 6200 Block of Lamont Dr. / area check while the kids were exiting the school and heading to their residents, check clear.

1550 hrs., Residential check/ Ravenswood, Stanwood, Quentin, and Jodie areas.  Landover Hills had a vehicle stealing packages from porches so Officers checked our residential area, check clear.

1620 hrs., Business check/ Carrollton Enterprise, check clear.

1645 hrs., Business check/ New Carrollton City Pool, check clear.

1705 hrs., Business check/ 7-11, check clear.

1920 Disorderly/ 8500 block Oliver St / lady knocking on the door looking for a man. Upon arrival, the subject was looking for an old friend. She was advised she was at the wrong location and sent to the proper location 

2000 Premise Check/ 85th Ave Apts. / area was clear, no suspicious activity observed 

2120 Armed Person/ 6400 block Jodie St / complainant lied about guest pointing a gun and assaulting him. Officers observed occupants sitting in the living room eating and watching T.V. No assault or firearm was verified

2205 Armed Person/ 5800 block Mentana St / teenage son banging on the walls with a stick. There was no stick; the son was calm and apologized to his parents

2338 Premise Check/ 7700 block Riverdale Rd / store closing for the evening. 

0020 Premise Check/ Heritage Square Apts. / area was clear

0115 Premise Check/ 8500 block Annapolis Rd / no issues reported 

0230 Premise Check/ 8100 block Annapolis Rd / area was clear

0330 Premise Check/ 8400 block Annapolis Rd / no issues reported, business as usual 

0419 Hit & Run/ Annapolis Rd @ Veterans Pkwy  / unit 1 crossed into westbound lanes and struck unit 2 rendering it disabled. Unit 1 was located at Garrison Rd @ West Lanham Dr. and was impounded for safekeeping.  REPORT WRITTEN

0657 Hours - Stolen Auto - 7700 Block of Riverdale Road: An unknown suspect stole the victim's vehicle during the overnight hours fleeing in an unknown direction. The victim was provided case numbers and advised to contact her insurance company. Report Written 0807 Hours - Suspicious Person - 7700 Block of Riverdale Rd: An unknown caller advised a male in gray was asleep under the stairwell unresponsive. Officers responded and made contact with the subject who advised he was on the bus all night and needed a place to sleep. The male checked negative for warrants and was sent on his way. 0622  Hours -Premise Check-  8400 Block of Annapolis Rd: Officers checked the area for suspicious activity, but nothing was found. 0712  Hours -Premise Check-  8500 Block of Annapolis Rd: Officers checked the area for suspicious activity, but nothing was found. 0822 Hours -Accident- 8300 Block of Annapolis Rd: Officers responded to the listed location for a two-vehicle accident. Upon arrival, officers spoke with both drivers, who claimed no injuries while on the scene. Both vehicle was disabled in the roadway and impounded for safekeeping.
