0705 hrs., 5700 block 85th Ave/ Car Alarm, caller stated the car alarm on a vehicle parked out front had been going off since 0100 hrs.  Officers located the vehicle but did not hear the alarm going off.  Officers sat in the area for a while and still did not hear anything.  There was no caller information.

0745 hrs., Residential check/ 5300-5400 Block of 85th Ave, Citizens complaint of Suspicious Persons loitering in the building hallways, laundry rooms, front of buildings and around the vehicles, check clear.

0820 hrs., Business check/ 7-11, check clear.

0900 hrs., Business check/ Plaza 30, check clear.

0915 hrs., 5700 block 85th Ave/ Return call for the car alarm.  Again Officers responded and did not hear anything in the area.  There again was no caller information given so we were unable to contact them for any further information.

1000 hrs., Shoppers/ Shoplifter, callers (Loss Prevention) just wanted assistance with the male shop lifter.  They stated he was elderly male who has not eaten in days and they would be alright with just trespassing him because they got all of their merchandise back.  Officers assisted the male in getting to the Metro station to get back home to Washington D.C.

1030 hrs., Business check/ Shoppers, check clear.

1105 hrs., Business check/ Carrollton Enterprise, check clear.

1121 hrs., 5300 block 85th Ave/ Domestic Dispute, caller stated she and her boyfriend were having an argument for over 24 hours and she just wanted to leave but he would not let her.  Male half stated they were fighting but he just wanted to work it out with her.  Neither party claimed injuries at this time. REPORT WRITTEN

1200 hrs., Residential check/ 5500 Block of Karen Elaine Dr. / Citizens complaint of Suspicious Persons loitering in the building hallways, laundry rooms, front of buildings and around the vehicles, check clear.

1250 hrs., Harkins Rd and Old Landover Rd/ Assist Prince George's County Police with a traffic stop, stop cleared without incident.

1319 hrs., CVS/ Theft, caller (manager) stated a male came into the business and she believes stole items.  Manager also stated to the call taker that he may have a weapon.  When Officers arrived the Manager stated she does not know if he had a weapon and she does not know if he even stole any items.  Officers canvassed the area with negative results and she was advised.

1331 hrs., Shoppers/ Disorderly, caller stated there was a male outside of the store selling items.  Officers stopped the male and ran a warrant check; the check came up with a warrant out of Virginia, due to the male having no identification and the description matches he was transported to Department of Corrections for processing and check of identification. REPORT WRITTEN

1417 hrs., Annapolis Rd and Finns Ln/ Suspicious person, caller stated there was a female wearing all blue walking down the middle of the road and in and out of traffic.  Officers canvassed the area with nothing found.

1445 hrs., Business check/ Plaza 30, check clear.

1503 hrs., 5500 block Karen Elaine Dr. / Family dispute, female called stating her nine year old son has been out of control not listening to her all weekend.  She was upset today and just did not know what to do with him.  She stated she has been waiting on the doctor to diagnose him but she has had no success.  Officers advised her to start with Children's Hospital to have him looked at for any possible illness that may have him acting this way.  She was given information for many other services and advised.  

1520 hrs., Residential check/ 5500 Block of Karen Elaine Dr. / Citizens complaint of Suspicious Persons loitering in the building hallways, laundry rooms, front of buildings and around the vehicles, check clear.

1605 hrs., Station call for a domestic standby/ Caller stated she needed her boyfriend served with a protective order.  Officers asked where she was and if she had the copy to serve him and she stated she did not the Sheriff's Department had the copy.  She was advised if we do not have the paperwork to serve him and she was not in the area she had to come here for us to attempt to figure out how to assist her.  She was advised to call back when she was in the area.

1635 hrs., 7500 block Riverdale Rd/ check on the welfare, caller stated a female was laying in the middle of the road possibly on a substance.  Officers checked the area and located her walking in the parking lot.  She was stopped and while speaking to her, Officers noticed a strong of alcoholic beverage on her breath.  While speaking to her she stated she did not want to harm herself or anyone else, she was just intoxicated.  The caller stated he would take the female back to their apartment and let her sleep.  

1725 hrs., CVS/ Attempt theft, caller (manager) stated three females tried to steal deodorant.  The manager stated no items were taken and the females left in a vehicle, Officers canvassed the area with nothing found.  

1800 Domestic/ 7500 block Riverdale Rd  no domestic, the caller was extremely intoxicated and was provided the number to crisis intervention

1806 ACRS/ 7600 block Riverdale Rd vehicle crashed down the embankment and was disabled. Charlie's Towing impounded the vehicle for safekeeping.

1825 Domestic/ 5500 block Karen Elaine Dr. / female called in reference to her children's father arguing over their daughter's hair not being done. Officers spoke with both parties and the female refused police services. They were provided the number to SANTE.

1956 Trespassing/ 8300 block Annapolis Rd two males who were previously trespassed returned. Officers made contact with subjects who did not trespass.

2125 Premise Check/ 8200 block Annapolis Rd business, as usual, no issues reported 

2215 Premise Check/ 5800 block Runford Dr. / area was clear

2242 Recovered Property/ 7400 block Annapolis Rd vehicle from a traffic stop had a SERO MSP pick up order. REPORT WRITTEN

2245 Animal Complaint/ 6100 block Lamont Dr. / citizen found a dog on the street with a leash. PG Animal Control would not respond due to closing for the evening. The dog was placed inside the dog park. ACO Superville was notified

0020 Disorderly/ 8400 block Annapolis Rd store employee noticed a male who was banned in the past. The male did not enter the store

0145 Premise Check/ 5500 block Karen Elaine Dr. area was clear

0209 Premise Check/ 85th Ave Apts. / area was clear, no suspicious activity observed 

0330 Premise Check/ 8400 block Annapolis Rd business as usual 

0407 Premise Check/ 8100 block Annapolis Rd business closed and the lot was clear

0657 Hours - Stolen Auto - 7700 Block of Riverdale Road: An unknown suspect stole the victim's vehicle during the overnight hours fleeing in an unknown direction. The victim was provided case numbers and advised to contact her insurance company.
