0940 Hrs., Station Call/Robert Frost Elementary School, School principal called to report a Disorderly student who assaulted a staff member. The juvenile was under control upon officer’s arrival, and the student did not require medical attention. The parent was contacted and arrived on scene to take custody. REPORT WRITTEN
1040 Hrs., Accident / Riverdale Road & Mahoney Drive, two vehicles involved in an accident, minor property damages only, no injuries reported and information was exchanged. No report.  
1200 Hrs., Premise Check 8400 block Annapolis Road / all clear
1315 Hrs., Accident / 7900 block of Annapolis Road, two vehicles involved in an accident, property damages only, no injuries reported. Both parties exchanged information and were advised to contact their insurance carriers. No report  
1327 Hrs., Disabled Vehicle / 7800 block of Riverdale Road, Vehicle disabled in the roadway due to no gas, the vehicle was subsequently removed from the roadway. No report. 
1330 hrs., MPS 8400 block Annapolis Road / Caller stated he was assaulted in the class by a fellow student who was not on scene, the caller stated he knows the alleged suspect, however; he refused to provide a name and description of the suspect and stated he no longer required further police services. The caller did not show any signs of injury and refused medical attention. REPORT WRITTEN
1445 Hrs., Family Dispute / 5300 block 85th Avenue / Caller stated her daughter wanted to invite several friends over to celebrate her newborn baby, however: the mother did not want the daughter to invite "males" over. The mother stated she did not want any further police services and only wanted officers to talk to her. No report.  
1528 Hrs., Disorderly 8400 block Annapolis Road, An employee of New Grand International Market, called to report an disorderly customer arguing with the manager. While in route, police communications canceled officers and advised the caller no required officers on the scene because the customer left. No report.
1546 Hrs., Lost person / Madison street and 87th Avenue, Caller reported he was traveling to see a friend and was lost in the area. The caller was located and transported to his destination, (Westbrook Drive & Lamont Drive). No report.  
1600 Hrs., Suspicious person 8200 block Annapolis Road / the Store manager reported two males loitering in front of the business. The suspects were gone prior to arrival; a canvass of the area was conducted with negative results.   
1650 Hrs., Premise Check 5800 block Runford Drive, a citizen complained of people drinking and littering at this location. Officers checked the area and observed no issues. All clear no report.
1700 Hrs., Lost Property 7800 block Riverdale Road The caller was contacted via telephone, who stated he was currently in Greenbelt, MD and he lost his green card in their jurisdiction. He was advised to contact Greenbelt, PD. No report.  
1722 Hrs., Disorderly/ 7700 block Riverdale Road / Caller stated she arrived home and her teenage son attempted to cook dinner, however; he was unsuccessful and burned the food which filled their residence with smoke. No property damage, no fire, and everything found to be under control. The caller wanted officers to advise her son on fire safety. No report.   
1801 HOURS- PARKING COMPLAINT- 6100 BLOCK LAMONT DR. -  OFFICERS RESPONDED TO THE LOCATION FOR A SUSPICIOUS UNOCCUPIED VEHICLE PARKED ON THE STREET AT THE LOCATION.  THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPORTED STOLEN, WAS CURRENTLY REGISTERED AND LEGALLY PARKED.  NO ACTION TAKEN.

1842 HOURS-  MANDATORY PREMISE CHECK- 5400 BLOCK 85TH AVE.- REPEATED COMPLAINTS OF MALES DRINKING, SMOKING C.D.S., AND GAMBLING IN THE AREA.  OFFICERS RESPONDED, CANVASED THE COMPLEX, BUT DID NOT OBSERVE ANY SUSPICIOUS OR ILLEGAL ACTIVITIES AT THAT TIME.

ALL CLEAR.

1932 HOURS- ACCIDENT- 5400 BLOCK 85TH AVE.-   UNIT 1 DROVE OVER THE SIDEWALK, STRUCK UNIT 2 (PARKED), THEN UNIT 1 STRUCK UNIT 3 (PARKED) CAUSING UNIT 3 TO STRIKE UNIT 4 (PARKED).  NONE OF THE VEHICLES WERE DISABLED; THERE WERE NO INJURIES REPORTED ON SCENE.  DRIVER OF UNIT 1 WAS UNLICENSED AND SUBSEQUENTLY ISSUED TRAFFIC CITATIONS.  A.C.R.S. 2015 HOURS- SUSPICIOUS PERSON- 86TH AVE./PRESTON ST.-  CITIZEN COMPLAINT OF TWO MALES GOING DOOR-TO-DOOR SOLICITING THE SALE OF MEAT FROM A REFRIGERATED VAN.  OFFICERS RESPONDED, CANVASED THE AREA WITH NEGATIVE RESULTS; SUSPECTS G.O.A.

2118 HOURS- ACCIDENT- 8400 BLOCK ANNAPOLIS RD.-   UNIT 1 DROVE ONTO A CONCRETE MEDIAN AND BECAME UNABLE TO BE REMOVED BY ITS OWN POWER; THE OWNER OF THE VEHICLE WAS UNABLE TO ARRANGE A PRIVATE TOW AND WAS SUBSEQUENTLY IMPOUNDED BY CHARLIE'S TOWING.  A.C.R.S. COMPLETED. REPORT WRITTEN

2136 HOURS- SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE- PRESTON ST. /87TH AVE.-  OFFICERS ON PATROL OBSERVED A SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE PARKED WITH A FAKE REGISTRATION PLATE.  THE VEHICLE WAS IMPOUNDED BY CHARLIE'S TOWING. THE FAKE REGISTRATION WERE CONFISCATED AND ENTERED INTO NCPD PROPERTY. REPORT WRITTEN

2152 HOURS- CHECK WELFARE- 8400 BLOCK ANNAPOLIS RD.-  OFFICERS RESPONDED TO THE AREA TO CHECK THE WELFARE OF A FEMALE WHO WAS WANDERING THE AREA.  OFFICERS LOCATED THE FEMALE IN P.G. COUNTY’S JURISDICTION; THE FEMALE WAS OK AND WAS PICKED UP BY A FAMILY MEMBER. 

2250 HOURS- ADDED INFO. – 5400 BLOCK 85TH AVE.-  THE OWNER OF UNIT 4 FROM THE PRIOR ACCIDENT WAS UNABLE TO MOVE HER VEHICLE INTO A PARKING SPACE.  OFFICERS DISCOVERED THE STEERING WHEEL LOCKED AS A RESULT OF THE COLLISION; THE OWNER WAS ADVISED ON HOW TO CORRECT THE ISSUE AND THE VEHICLE WAS MOVED.

2318 HOURS- PREMISE CHECK- DARCARS DODGE-  ALL CLEAR.

2330 HOURS- DOMESTIC- 5800 BLOCK LAMONT DR.-  OFFICERS RESPONDED TO THE RESIDENCE FOR A 3RD PARTY REPORT OF A DOMESTIC DISPUTE OVER PROPERTY.  OFFICERS MET THE CALLER, DETERMINED THE INCIDENT OCCURRED IN SEABROOK; THE CALLER REFUSED ALL POLICE SERVICES, WAS ADVISED AND REFERRED TO THE COMMISSIONERS OFFICE FOR SERVICES.

0045 HOURS- MUSIC COMPLAINT- 5400 BLOCK 85TH AVE.-  OFFICERS RESPONDED TO THE AREA FOR AN ANONYMOUS COMPLAINT OF LOUD MUSIC.  OFFICERS CANVASED THE AREA BUT WERE UNABLE TO LOCATE ANY DISTURBANCE.

0122 HOURS-  MANDATORY PREMISE CHECK- 5400 BLOCK 85TH AVE.-  REPEATED COMPLAINTS OF MALES DRINKING, SMOKING C.D.S., AND GAMBLING IN THE AREA.  OFFICERS RESPONDED, CANVASED THE COMPLEX, BUT DID NOT OBSERVE ANY SUSPICIOUS OR ILLEGAL ACTIVITIES AT THAT TIME.

0418 HOURS- ATTEMPT LOCATE- 5400 BLOCK 85TH AVE. -  OFFICERS RESPONDED TO THE LOCATION TO ATTEMPT TO LOCATE A MALE AND HIS JUVENILE SON; THE CALLER ELECTED TO REMAIN ANONYMOUS.  OFFICERS MET NEGATIVE RESULTS AS THERE WAS NO ANSWER AT THE APARTMENT DOOR.

0657 Hours - Stolen Auto - 7700 Block of Riverdale Road: An unknown suspect stole the victim's vehicle during the overnight hours fleeing in an unknown direction. The victim was provided case numbers and advised to contact her insurance company. Officers responded and made contact with the subject who advised he was on the bus all night and needed a place to sleep. The male checked negative for warrants and was sent on his way.
