0720 Premise Check/ 8300 block Annapolis Rd -spoke with store personnel who advised everything was ok

0840 Premise Check/ 7700 block Riverdale Rd -spoke with store personnel who advised everything was ok 

1000 Premise Check/ 85th Ave Apts. - area was clear, no suspicious activity observed 

1034 Accident/ 8300 block Annapolis Rd -parties exchanged information with the assistance of officers

1100 Assist Animal Control/ 5700 block Longfellow St. - assisting with the capturing a dog loose dog in the area

1128 Premise Check/ 8400 block Annapolis Rd - area was clear, business as usual

1130 Traffic Assignment/ 6100 block 85 Pl -Traffic was light; 1 violator 

1140 Accident/ Annapolis Rd @Gallatin St - parties exchanged information with the assistance of officers

1215 Premise Check/ 8400 block Annapolis Rd -spoke with store personnel 

1330 Traffic Assignment/ 6100 block 85th Pl several violators were cited

1450 Premise Check/ 85th Ave Apts. - area was clear, no suspicious activity observed

1520 Traffic Assignment/ 6100 block Lamont Dr. - assisted with school dismissal

1535 Burglary/ 5700 block Harland St. - neighbor observed a vehicle parked in front of his residence. The occupants entered the residence, he thought it was suspicious. The house checked secure, all door and windows were in place. There were no signs of forced entry

1630 Shoplifting/ 8400 block Annapolis Rd - Loss Prevention observed and detained a male for shoplifting. The suspect checked negative for warrants and was issued a criminal citation. REPORT WRITTEN

1835 hrs., Business check/ 7-11, check clear.

1907 hrs., 6100 block 85th Pl/ Residential Alarm, accidental by homeowner.

1950 hrs., Business check/ 8300 block Annapolis Rd (Foot Patrol), check clear.

2013 hrs., 8400 block Cathedral St/ Domestic standby, when officers made contact with the caller he stated he wanted to go into his residence and get some belongings.  He and his family have been arguing and he wanted to move out permanently.  He advised officers he wanted to move out all his belongings, to include a bed and dressers.  He was advised he would have to make an appointment with the Prince George's county Sheriff's Department.

2036 hrs., 8500 block Powhatan St/ Land Lord Tenant, caller believed she was locked out of her residence again.  Officers checked and the door was unsecured and the caller was able to enter her residence.  She was advised of Land Lord Tenant court.

2050 hrs., Residential check/ 5300-5400 Block of 85th Ave., Citizens complaint of Suspicious Persons loitering in front of buildings and around the vehicles, check clear. 

2056 hrs., Lamont Elementary School/ A child spoke with officers about him getting in trouble at home.  Officers coordinated with the school and the jurisdiction the child lives in.  Officers were waiting for information from the school to be able to continue. REPORT WRITTEN

2107 hrs., 5400 block 85th Ave./ Officers were flagged down about a child outside alone.  While speaking with the citizen, the mother of the child showed up and stated the child snuck out the door when she was opening it.  The child was safe and the unattended child was simply an accident, the Officers found no neglect of the child.

2120 hrs., Annapolis Rd/ Officers assisted Prince George's County Police with a canvas of the area for a male who possibly tampered with the ATM.  Canvas ended with negative results.

2150 hrs., 8600 Block of Annapolis Rd/ Traffic stop, stop cleared without incident.

2200 hrs., Carrollton Elementary School/ Suspicious vehicle occupied, couple lived in the area and were just talking prior to going home.

2210 hrs., Residential check/ 6200 block Westbrook Dr. - officers conducted a foot patrol of the residence and discovered a window unsecured.  Officers re-secured it prior to leaving.

2237 hrs., 6100 Block of Lamont Dr. / Traffic stop, stop cleared without incident.

2245 hrs., Farmcrest Dr. / at Carrollton Pkwy/ Officers were flagged down by a citizen who stated that she observed a couple of males looking at her daughters vehicle over the weekend.  She wanted officers to check the area prior to her exiting her vehicle because she was worried they may be back in the area.  Officers checked with negative results.

2310 hrs., 8500 Block of Annapolis Rd/ Disabled vehicle, officers observed a vehicle on the side of the road and officers stopped to assist.  The driver stated the vehicle had stopped running and she called AAA for a tow.  Officers stood by while the tow truck was en-route (approximately 15 min.) 

0005 hrs., Business check/ Carrollton Enterprise, check cleared.

0045 hrs., 6300 block Westbrook Dr. / Suspicious Person, male was walking in the area where several windows had been vandalized.  As officers approached him he put his hood up, as if to conceal himself.  Officers stopped and identified the individual. REPORT WRITTEN

0105 hrs., Residential check/ 5500 Block of Karen Elaine Dr., Citizens complaint of Suspicious Persons loitering in front of buildings and around the vehicles, check clear. 

0130 hrs., Business check/ 7-11, check clear.

0150 hrs., Business check/ Metro Points Hotel, check clear.

0210 hrs., Business check/ Darcar's, check clear.

0235 hrs., 7500 Block of Annapolis Rd/ Assist Prince George's County Police with a traffic stop, cleared without incident.

0254 hrs., 7600 Block of Annapolis Rd/ Traffic stop, stop cleared without incident.

0325 hrs., Business check/ Shell Gas station, check clear.

0350 hrs., Business check/ Darcar's, check clear.

0415 hrs., Business check/ Plaza 30, check clear.

0505 hrs., Business check/ Starbucks, check clear.

0520 hrs., Business check/ 7-11, check clear.


0535 hrs., 5300 block 85th Ave/ Disorderly Person, tow truck company was attempting to tow a vehicle that was parked illegally.  The owner approached the driver and began to argue and refused to pay the fee for the vehicle to be dropped.  Officers arrived and the owner paid the driver the fee to get his vehicle back.

0657 Hours - Stolen Auto - 7700 Block of Riverdale Road: An unknown suspect stole the victim's vehicle during the overnight hours fleeing in an unknown direction. The victim was provided case numbers and advised to contact her insurance company. 0645 Hours -Premise Check- 8400 Block of Annapolis Rd: Officers checked the area for suspicious activity, but nothing was found. 0722 Hours -Premise Check- 8500 Block of Annapolis Rd: Officers checked the area for suspicious activity, but nothing was found. 0813 Hours -Vandalism- 7900 Block of Legation Rd: Officers responded to the listed location for the vandalism of a vehicle. Officers spoke with the caller who stated his vehicle had been broken into. Officers gathered all information needed and generated a report.  Report Written 1028 Hours -Disorderly- 8500 Block of Annapolis Rd: Officers responded to the listed location for a disorderly male.
