0745 Premise Check/ 85th Ave Apts. - area was clear

1100 Premise Check/ Plaza 30 - no issues observed, business as usual

1215 Premise Check/ Beckett Field -all clear

1330 Accident/ 7600 block Fontainebleau Dr. - parties exchanged information 

1415 Suspicious Person/ 8300 block Annapolis Rd -two males walking around the store. Contact was made juveniles were trying to charge their phones. 

1445 Jump-in Stolen Auto/ 8600 block Fremont St. - the victim was leaving and noticed they didn’t have their wallet and ran back into the house. S-1 seized the opportunity and stole the vehicle fleeing in an unknown direction. REPORT WRITTEN

1550 Premise Check/ 8300 block Annapolis Rd - business was closing for the evening

1723 Domestic/ 7700 block Riverdale Rd - no domestic, girlfriend wanted to sell a car the boyfriend purchased for her.

1803 Hrs., Mahoney Dr. and Riverdale Rd/ Hit and Run, Officers arrived and could not locate the caller.  Once contact was made with the caller they stated they were not on scene and they were advised to contact us back when they return to the scene.

1840 hrs., 7700 block Riverdale Rd/ Neighbor Dispute, caller stated the neighbor below her scared her tonight but has had previous interaction with them as well.  When speaking further to the caller the neighbor was just standing outside and she ran away because she was scared.  Offices spoke to the downstairs neighbor who stated he did not know what the caller was speaking about.  REPORT WRITTEN

1910 hrs., Residential check/ 5300-5400 Block of 85th Ave., Citizens complaint of Suspicious Persons loitering in front of buildings and around the vehicles, check clear. 

1955 hrs., Annapolis Rd and 85th Ave/ Vehicle accident, one vehicle was overturned.  Several lanes were shut down and traffic was rerouted around the accident.  NC 3 was notified for the traffic camera.  Both vehicles were towed and there were no injuries to any party. REPORT WRITTEN

2115 hrs., 5900 block 85th Ave/ Vehicle accident, minor damage and no injuries.  Officers exchanged information between parties.

2150 hrs., Residential check/ 5500 Block of Karen Elaine Dr., Citizens complaint of Suspicious Persons loitering in front of buildings and around the vehicles, check clear. 

2215 hrs., School check/ Carrollton Elementary School, check clear.

2248 hrs., 5800 block Lamont Dr./ Residential Alarm, from the entrance way.  When Officers arrived on scene they discovered a side door unsecured, Officers made entry and checked the residence.  Nothing appeared disturbed and the door showed no signs of forced entry it appears to have been left open and the wind blew it the rest of the way.  Officers left a message for the homeowner on their cell phone to contact us if there was a problem or they noticed any signs of entry.

2320 hrs., School check/ Robert Frost Elementary, check clear.

0010 hrs., Business Check/ 7-11, check clear.

0035 hrs., 5400 block 85th Ave/ Hit and Run, when officers arrived on scene it was determined the accident took place in Prince George's County jurisdiction.  County Officer was dispatched to the scene to take the report.

0105 hrs., Business check/ Plaza 30, check clear.

0145 hrs., Business check/ Shell Gas station, check clear.

0205 hrs., Business check/ Darcar's, check clear.

0226 hrs., Annapolis Rd and Veteran's Pkwy/ Property Damage, caller stated a white truck went up over the curb and struck a light switch pole.  Officers canvased the area with negative results and State Highway was contacted about the pole being knocked over. REPORT WRITTEN

0310 hrs., 6200 block 87th Ave/ Loud party, caller stated there was a party at this location that was extremely loud.  The owner was advised to turn down the music.

0315 hrs., 6200 block 86th Ave/ Sound of shots approximately 8-9 shots heard.  The area was searched nothing was found or heard.

0327 hrs., 85th Ave and Powhattan St/ Traffic stop, vehicle was stopped and the driver was found to be intoxicated.  Driver was taken for testing and released on citations.

0420 hrs., School check/ Charles Carroll Middle School, check clear.

0440 hrs., Business check/ 7-11, check clear.

0500 hrs., Business check/ Plaza 30, check clear.


0520 hrs., 6000 Block of Westbrook Dr./ Tree down, officers removed the tree from the roadway safely.

0657 Hours - Stolen Auto - 7700 Block of Riverdale Road: An unknown suspect stole the victim's vehicle during the overnight hours fleeing in an unknown direction. The victim was provided case numbers and advised to contact her insurance company. Report Written 0807 Hours - Suspicious Person - 7700 Block of Riverdale Rd: An unknown caller advised a male in gray was asleep under the stairwell unresponsive. Officers responded and made contact with the subject who advised he was on the bus all night and needed a place to sleep. The male checked negative for warrants and was sent on his way. 0645 Hours -Premise Check- 8400 Block of Annapolis Rd: Officers checked the area for suspicious activity, but nothing was found. 0722 Hours -Premise Check- 8500 Block of Annapolis Rd: Officers checked the area for suspicious activity, but nothing was found. 0813 Hours -Vandalism- 7900 Block of Legation Rd: Officers responded to the listed location for the vandalism of a vehicle. Officers spoke with the caller who stated his vehicle had been broken into. Officers gathered all information needed and generated a report.  Report Written 1028 Hours -Disorderly- 8500 Block of Annapolis Rd: Officers responded to the listed location for a disorderly male.
