0606 hrs., Lowe's/ Commercial alarm, alarm was coming from the rear entry door.  Officers checked all the doors.  We located a front door not secured, but it did not allow any access into the business itself.  All secure.

0650 hrs., Business Check/ 7-11, check clear.

0720 hrs., Business Check/ Plaza 30, check clear.

0805 hrs., Residential check/ 5300-5400 Block of 85th Ave, Citizens complaint of Suspicious Persons loitering in front of buildings and around the vehicles, check clear. 

0835 hrs., 7600 block Riverdale Rd/ Unknown trouble, someone at the residence called the emergency number at 911 but did not speak.  They could hear the sound of kids’ voices but no sounds of a struggle.  Officers arrived and the children were singing and dancing to a Disney show with no problem at the location.

0905 hrs., Residential check/ 5500 Block of Karen Elaine Dr., Citizens complaint of Suspicious Persons loitering in front of buildings and around the vehicles, check clear.

0930 hrs., School Check/ Charles Carroll Middle School, check clear.

1000 hrs., Westbrook Dr. and Legation Ct/ Citizens complained of suspicious people hanging out at the end of the roadway and causing disturbances.  Check clear.

1042 hrs., 8400 block Annapolis Rd/ Parking complaint, caller stated there was a Dunbar Armored truck parked next to the stop sign.  Due to the fact they need to be close to the business to retrieve the money and there is always a driver with the truck. It was cleared with no action taken.

1125 hrs., Business Check/ Carrollton Enterprise, check clear.

1200-1300 hrs., 85th Ave at 87th Ave/ Traffic detail, a citizen complained of vehicles running the stop sign at that intersection.  Officers conducted traffic stops ad observed other vehicles travelling the roadway.  Three vehicles were stopped for violations.

1245 hrs., Riverdale Rd and Annapolis Rd/ Traffic complaint, Caller was upset because another driver was swearing at them and sped around them onto Riverdale Rd.  The vehicle could not be located when Officers canvassed the area, the caller was advised.

1253 hrs., 5500 block Karen Elaine Dr./ Overdose, female took 2 instead of 1 diet pill and she felt strange and dizzy.  Fire board was called to check her out and she refused to be transported to the hospital.  

1308 hrs., 6000 block Mentana St/ Panic alarm from the key fob.  Officers arrived on scene to two large dogs in the window.  The owner showed up and stated he had cleared the alarm but we did not get the message.  Accidental by homeowner.

1320 hrs., Business Check/ 8300 Block of Annapolis Rd (Foot Patrol,) check clear.

1405 hrs., 8400 block Annapolis Rd/ Dispute- caller stated someone took something out of their vehicle.  Officers canvassed the area and no one approached to give us any information.  Unable to get in contact with the caller, cleared with no victim.

1430 hrs., Business Check/ Beckett Field, check clear.

1455 hrs., School Check/ Carrollton Elementary School, check clear.

1533 hrs., School Check/ Margaret Brent School, check clear.

1615 hrs., School Check/ Charles Carroll Middle School, met with the New Carrollton Cheer Club and spoke to the coach about several community based programs.

1630 hrs., 7700 block Riverdale Rd/ Unknown Trouble, Officers arrived and made several attempts to make contact with negative results.  There were no signs of struggle or that anyone was home at the time.  

1700 hrs., Business Check/ Metro Points Hotel, check clear.  

1749 EPS/ 8300 block Annapolis Rd - a male on a visit with his group home staff had a breakdown. The male caused a disturbance in the restaurant, causing staff to hit the panic alarm. The male was taken into custody without incident and transported to PGH for emergency petition. REPORT WRITTEN

2035 Domestic/ 5500 block Karen Elaine Dr. - no domestic, the complainant advised incident took place 2hrs earlier. Complainant also advised the male never made contact with her

2135 Disorderly/ 8100 block Carrollton Pkwy - several subjects in the street smoking and drinking. 

2200 Suspicious Occupied Vehicle/ 6100 block Lamont Dr. - male was sitting in the parking lot talking to his girlfriend. He lived on Verona Dr. with his parents and didn't want to disrespect the clergy visiting his parents

2235 Premise Check/ 8100 block Annapolis Rd - the business was closed and lot was clear

2337 Premise Check/ 6000 block Mentana St. - the area was clear, no suspicious activity observed

2240 Premise Check/ 5700 block Legation Ct. - the area was clear, no suspicious activity observed

2305 Premise Check/ 6100 block 85th Ave - the area was clear, no suspicious activity observed

2309 Suspicious Occupied Vehicle/ 8300 block Quintana St - male and female were sitting in the car talking and watching the football game. The male lives on 84th Ave and there was no parking in front of his residence. REPORT WRITTEN

0020 Suspicious Person/ 8400 block Annapolis Rd. - officer observed two males sitting in front of the store smoking. The males when asked stated they were only smoking and not making any purchases. The males checked negative for warrants advised of loitering and sent on their way. REPORT WRITTEN

0100 Premise Check/ 85th Ave Apts. - the area was clear, no suspicious activity observed

0200 Premise Check/ Heritage Square & Fountain Club Apts. - the area was clear, no suspicious activity observed

0450 Disorderly/ 8400 block Annapolis Rd. - female customer refused to leave the store. Upon arrival, the female subject left the store
