0740 hrs., Business Check/ Plaza 30, check clear.

0815 hrs., School Check/ Charles Carroll Middle School, check clear.

0900-1230 hrs., Community Fair at Charles Carroll Middle School/ Officers assisted with the fair and passing out information.

0926 hrs., 7400 block Longbranch Dr./ Vehicle Accident, vehicle struck a boat on a trailer around 0330 hrs.  Driver of the vehicle that caused the accident came back to the scene this morning to make notification to the owners that he struck their boat last night.  REPORT WRITTEN

1215 hrs., Princess Garden Pkwy and Good Luck Rd/ Assist Greenbelt Police Department with a Domestic in the parking lot.  The male was discovered to have a warrant out for armed robbery.  He was taken into custody by officers.

1300 hrs., 6000 block Mentana St/ Dispute, male half was upset when the female came in an attempted to pick up their child while intoxicated.  She threatened to cause damage to his mother’s vehicle with a stick, he did not want any assistance stated there was no damage.  He was advised.

1335 hrs., Business Check/ City of New Carrollton Pool, check clear.

1350 hrs., Residential check/ 5300-5400 Block of 85th Ave, Citizens complaint of Suspicious Persons loitering in front of buildings and around the vehicles, check clear. 

1420 hrs., Residential check/ 5500 Block of Karen Elaine Dr., Citizens complaint of Suspicious Persons loitering in front of buildings and around the vehicles, check clear.

1445 hrs., Business Check/ Metro Points Hotel (Foot Patrol), check clear.

1511 hrs., 5500 block Karen Elaine Dr./ Male was walking in the building with no shirt on.  Officers located him he was unaware of what day or year it was. He stated he smoked PCP recently but did not know when.  Fire board responded and transported him to the hospital due to him stating he needed help and wanted to go.

1540 hrs., Business Check/ CVS Pharmacy, check clear.

1634 hrs., 5700 block 85th Ave/ Suspicious person, caller stated a male was just sitting on the porch for over an hour.  Officers observed him still on the porch and approached him.  He stated he was visiting a friend at the house but he left.  Officers attempted but could not get in touch with the homeowner at the time.  When speaking to neighbors they did not recognize him, but were unsure if he was to be there or not.  Officers checked the male and sent him on his way. REPORT WRITTEN

1715 hrs., Residential check/ 5300-5400 Block of 85th Ave, Citizens complaint of Suspicious Persons loitering in front of buildings and around the vehicles, check clear. 

1810 Fraud/ 5700 block Harland St. - unknown suspect contacted the victim in reference to her computer. The suspect gained access with the victim's consent and locked the computer. The suspect then called and asked for money to unlock the computer. REPORT WRITTEN

1910 Trespassing Complaint/ 5500 block Karen Elaine Dr. - complainant advised a male was sitting on the patio without permission. The male advised his aunt lives at the LOI. After being patted down for weapons and a warrant check. The male was advised to leave and not return to the LOI. If he returned he would be trespassing and subject to immediate arrest. REPORT WRITTEN

1940 Disorderly/ 7700 block Riverdale Rd. - complainant advised a female friend threatened to have someone beat him up. The complainant thought the person was in the parking lot. The parking lot was checked with negative results.

2038 Disorderly/ 8400 block Annapolis Rd -male was in the store talking loudly to himself and acting strangely. Store employees advised the male may be on some substance. Officers arrived and detained and checked for warrants with negative results. The subject advised he's a former Meth user. The subject was escorted from the property without incident. REPORT WRITTEN

2240 Premise Check/ 7700 block Riverdale Rd- officers walked the store, no issues reported by staff

2300 CDS Complaint/ 6000 block 89th Ave- males standing on the street smoking marijuana. Officers arrived and observed a male next to a vehicle that was occupied. Officers noticed an open container. All subjects checked negative for warrants and two were cited for open container. REPORT WRITTEN

0040 Check Welfare/ Annapolis @ Riverdale Rd- male lying on the ground. Officers canvassed the area thoroughly with negative results

0053 Loud Music/ 7600 block Fontainebleau Dr. - there was no loud noise in the building

0055 Loud Music/ 6200 block Westbrook Dr. - residents shut the party down

0110 Premise Check/ 8400 block Annapolis Rd - normal activity, no complaints from staff

0125 Premise Check/ 85th Ave Apts. - area was clear, no suspicious activity observed

0239 Premise Check/ 6100 block Lamont Dr. - Grounds were clear

0250 Premise Check/ 6100 block 85th Ave -area was clear, no issues reported

0330 Premise Check/ 5700 block Legation Ct. - area was clear, no suspicious activity observed


0445 Commercial Alarm/ 7700 block Riverdale Rd- alarm alerted from the seasonal department. Doors and windows were secure. Unknown reason for activation

0657 Hours - Stolen Auto - 7700 Block of Riverdale Road: An unknown suspect stole the victim's vehicle during the overnight hours fleeing in an unknown direction. The victim was provided case numbers and advised to contact her insurance company.
