0703 Hrs. Commercial Burglary – 8300 block Annapolis Rd. - The caller stated as she arrived at work she discovered the front door glass window broken. Officers arrived and cleared the business for any possible suspects. The check was all clear, at this time officers discovered damage to the cash register. NCPD Criminal Investigation Division was contacted and notified of the incident along with NC3.

0732 Hrs. Disorderly/Sounds of Shots 8300 block Longfellow St. - Further interview of the caller revealed that she may have been off her medication. Family members were contacted and en-route to the caller's residence to provide care for the caller.

0845 Hrs. Found Property - 6100 block Lamont Dr. - As officers took possession of the wallet the owner entered the school to ask if a wallet had been turned in. At this time the wallet was returned with all items accounted for.

0910 Hrs. Domestic Dispute - 8500 block Annapolis Rd. - Officers knocked at the door several times with no answer. It was later discovered the occupants had vacated the room before officers arrived.

2202 Suspicious Vehicle/ 8500 block Oliver St - a vehicle parked occupied with its lights on. The driver of the vehicle was on the phone and lived next door to the complainant. No report

2320 Premise Check/ 8300 block Annapolis Rd - the businesses were closed and the area was clear.

2352 Suspicious Person/ 8500 block Legation Rd - The male was cited for trespassing in the park and possession of marijuana under 10 grams. The male was photographed and sent on his way. Report written

0035 Missing Person/ 5300 block 85th Ave - the juvenile did not return home from school. While completing the report. Metro Transit Police contacted the mother and advised the juvenile was arrested for armed robbery at the New Carrollton Metro. No report

0041 Domestic Standby/ 5300 block 85th Ave - caller needed to obtain personal items. While handling the call her intoxicated boyfriend continued to cause a disturbance. The caller gathered her belongings and left without incident. No report

0230 Premise Check/ 8300 block Oglethorpe St and surrounding streets in the area were clear. While canvassing the area, at Westbrook Drive at Madison St officer observed a male on a bicycle. The male was able to elude officers who canvassed the area with negative results.

0315 Premise Check/ 85th Ave Apts. - the area was clear

0400 Premise Check/ Runford Dr. & Oland and surrounding streets in the area were clear.

0450 Premise Check/ 8400 block Annapolis Rd - businesses in the shopping center were clear. 

0510 Premise Check/ 8500 block Annapolis Rd- there were trucks in the parking lot preparing to deliver to IHOP.

0657 Hours - Stolen Auto - 7700 Block of Riverdale Road: An unknown suspect stole the victim's vehicle during the overnight hours fleeing in an unknown direction. The victim was provided case numbers and advised to contact her insurance company. Officers responded and made contact with the subject who advised he was on the bus all night and needed a place to sleep. The male checked negative for warrants and was sent on his way. 0645 Hours -Premise Check- 8400 Block of Annapolis Rd: Officers checked the area for suspicious activity, but nothing was found. 0722 Hours -Premise Check- 8500 Block of Annapolis Rd: Officers checked the area for suspicious activity, but nothing was found. 0813 Hours -Vandalism- 7900 Block of Legation Rd: Officers responded to the listed location for the vandalism of a vehicle. Officers spoke with the caller who stated his vehicle had been broken into.
