0735 Roommate Dispute/ 7800 block Riverdale Rd parties were advised to contact the rental office to end their lease

0930 Disorderly/ 6400 block 85th Ave parent cursed a child at the bus stop outside of New Carrollton. Staff advised to notify school security to file a complaint

1030 Premise Check/ 6000 block Mentana St area was clear, no suspicious activity observed. This includes the walk path and park

1112 Premise Check/ 7700 block Riverdale Rd store was operating normally, no issues reported by staff

1145 Premise Check/ 8400 block Annapolis Rd foot patrol, businesses were operating normally

1220 Disorderly (Station Call)/ 8500 block Annapolis Rd customer was loud acting aggressive toward the manager. Customer paid their bill and left without incident

1320 Assist/ New Carrollton Metro area for a suspect who bailed from a vehicle. Suspect was apprehended by PGPD 

1345 Premise Check/ 85th Ave Apts area was clear, no crowd in the park. Met with Code Enforcement in reference to vehicles parked in the multi-family dwellings

1435 Premise Check/ 8400 block Annapolis Rd business as usual in the shopping center

1510 Traffic Assignment/ 6100 block Lamont Drive assisted with school dismissal.

1545 Burglary/ 8400 block Ravenswood Rd unknown suspect entered the residence through an unsecured bathroom window. The suspect stole electronics, jewelry, and cash. Fleeing in an unknown direction. CID responded and conducted a knock and talk.

2026 hrs., 6000 Block of Mentana St and the Pathway between Vera Cope Park and Powhatan St, Officers conducted a foot patrol in the area.  Citizens have been complaining about,  suspicious behavior, possible sale of drugs, gambling, and loitering of unknown persons, check clear.

2135 hrs., Residential check/ 5500 block of Karen Elaine Dr, Citizens complaint of Suspicious Persons loitering in front of buildings and around the vehicles, check clear.

2220 hrs., Residential Check/ 8500 Block of Harland St, Citizens complaining of Suspicious Persons loitering in the area, being disorderly, and being loud late at night, check clear.

2250 hrs., 85^th Pl @ Ravenswood Rd/ Traffic Complaint/ caller stated they heard vehicles squealing their tires up and down the street. Officers canvass the area and did not observe any vehicles squealing their tires.

2320 hrs., Business Check/ New Carrollton City Pool, check clear.

0040 hrs., Business Check/ Lowes, check clear

0148 hrs., 6000 block Mentana St/ Suspicious Person/ Caller stated they observed a suspicious male walking around in the area. Officers arrived on scene and observed the male standing in front of the above address. Officers made contact with the male, who advised officers he was staying at a friend’s house waiting on the friend to walk to 7-11. The friend came outside and advised officers that the male was staying with him. The male was identified, check negative, photographed, advised and sent on his way.
