Officers responded, canvased the area, located the suspect, who after a short foot pursuit, was apprehended and positively identified. The suspect refused medical treatment by PGPD, and was transported to dist. 1 D.O.C. for charging. No injuries to the suspect or responding officers as a result of this incident. Report written-

Both parties were provided with the mobile crises hot line number for counseling and advised of temporary peace orders through the district court.

1521 hrs., Theft 8401 Annapolis Road (Forman Mills) Loss Prevention apprehended a shoplifter for stealing a pair of boots, the suspect was checked for warrants which yielded negative results. The manager decided to not pursue any criminal charges; the suspect was barred, advised and then sent on his way.
1609 hrs., Residential check/ 7501 Riverdale Rd, Citizens complaint of Suspicious Persons loitering in front of buildings and around the vehicles, check clear.
1621 hrs., Vandalism 7400 Blk Longbranch Drive Caller reported a unknown suspect damaged her Christmas décor in her front yard, however, the caller stated she did not want to file a report because she would replace it, but wanted to notified police about the incident.
1647 hrs., Citizen Robbery 5300 Blk 85th Avenue, Victim stated she meet the suspect utilizing the mobile app call “Offer Up” to purchase a cell phone. The victim stated she and S-1 agreed to meet in front of her residence to complete the transaction. During the meeting, the suspect robbed the victim and fled in an unknown vehicle in an unknown direction making good of his escape. The victim stated no weapons were displayed and she was not injured.
1715 hrs., Lost Property 7600 Blk Riverdale road , caller stated he lost his wallet and could not remember the location where he left it, he was provided with case numbers and was advised.
1820 HOURS- PANIC ALARM- 5800 BLK 89TH AVE.- RESIDENT ACCIDENTALLY ACTIVATED HER HOME SECURITY SYSTEM PANIC ALARM. OFFICERS RESPONDED, VERIFIED THE HOMEOWNERS INFORMATION AND ADVISED HER OF THE ALARM.
1850 HOURS- MISSING- 5500 BLK KAREN ELAINE DR. - CALLER WAS INVOLVED IN A VERBAL DISPUTE WITH HER JUVENILE DAUGHTER, WHO LEFT THE SCENE WITHOUT PERMISSION. OFFICERS RESPONDED AND UPON INVESTIGATION, DISCOVERED THE JUVENILE AT A FAMILY MEMBERS RESIDENCE IN THE AREA. THE CALLER WAS ADVISED AND RETRIEVED HER DAUGHTER.
