A shoving match happened, as the victims were leaving the suspect struck the rear window with a bat. Neither victim suffered any injuries

1445 hrs., Residential check/ 7500 Blk Riverdale Rd, Citizens complaint of Suspicious Persons loitering in front of buildings and around the vehicles, check clear.
1502 hrs., 7200 Blk of Gavin St/ Suspicious vehicle, vehicle was heavily damaged parked at the end of 8100 Blk of Gavin St. We contacted the owner who replied with he could not have the vehicle towed due to no tow company is working on this holiday weekend so he had to leave it where it was. Due to it being unsecured, abandoned, and at the end of the road blocking traffic from turning around, we had the vehicle impounded.

1020 hrs., Metro Points Hotel/ Vandalism to a patrons plastic comb. She stated she noticed a scratch in the comb after the cleaning crew was done and she wanted an apology letter written from the person who caused the scratch. She was advised.
1056 hrs., 5700 Blk 84th Ave/ Theft from Auto, male called and stated someone broke the lock off of his work truck and stole several items from it.
1144 hrs., 5300 Blk 85th Ave/ 911 Hangup call, no apartment and the leasing office was closed. Area canvased no one flagged us down for assistance.

1327 hrs., Annapolis Rd at 85 th Ave/ Vehicle accident, minor damage with no injuries, information was exchanged by officers to both parties.
1355 hrs., Ihop/ Custody dispute, male half brought his new girlfriend who decided to tell the ex wife she was pregnant. This upset the ex wife, who was hoping to get back together with the male. The girlfriend stated the ex wife got upset and threatened her. All parties were advised to come alone, custody orders, and commissioners office.

1440 hrs., 7800 Blk Riverdale Rd Theft from Auto, drivers side door lock was broken and the radio was stolen from inside the vehicle dash. Also damage done to the ignition.
1546 hrs., Forman Mills/ Manager called stating that he was tired of a woman coming into the store and letting her children run around. We advised him he could tell her she was no longer welcome in the store but we can not make people control their children while shopping. He was advised.
1554 hrs., 8117 Gavin St/ Vehicle accident, an SUV went up over the steps of a residence on the exterior. Vehicle did not hit the residence only the steps and several bushes. Vehicle was impounded.

0440 HOURS- RESIDENTIAL ALARM- 6400 Blk FAIRBORN TERR.- ALARM FROM A MASTER BEDROOM WINDOW SENSOR. OFFICER RESPONDED AND DISCOVERED THE RESIDENCE SECURED WITH NO SIGNS OF FORCED ENTRY. UNKNOWN CAUSE FOR THE ALARM ACTIVATION. A KEYHOLDER WAS LOCATED AND THE PROPERTY WAS CLEARED BY OFFICERS.

0700 hrs., 5400 Blk 85th Ave / Domestic Assault, male and female got into a physical altercation and the male bit the female on the cheek. The male entered into the residence uninvited through a sliding glass door and woke the female up. The male began to argue with the female about her phone and the female attempted to leave. The male grabbed her and tried to pull her back at this time he caused injuries to her side and then he bit her on her cheek. Female then escaped out the front door screaming and neighbors came to assist. Neighbors then noticed the male had her vehicle and female did not give him permission, and she had the only key. A warrant was applied for and obtained for the male by officers. Capt. Everts and Det. Ciancio were both notified of the incident.

0944 hrs., Beckett Field/ Found Property, an anonymous caller contacted 911 about property he found laying in the field in the bushes. Officers discovered approximately 15-20 power tools and other various items. Items took the property and entered it in. Officers gathered all of the serial numbers and ran them through NCIC by communications and none came back as stolen. Capt. Everts was notified of the incident.

1449 hrs., 5400 Blk 85th Ave/ Fight, upon arrival officers spoke to a male who stated a male, which he knew, ran up and started to punch him in the face. He then stated he was visiting someone and when he came out there were 5 males on his vehicle. He then said it was not the male he knew it was someone else they had in their house. Officers then spoke to the other male who stated he was defending himself from the male caller when he ran up to him and started fighting with him. Since the story changed several times officers exchanged information between parties and they were both advised commissioners office.
