0650 hrs., Assist PGFD/ 5500 Blk Karen Elaine Dr., PGFD responded to a subject stuck inside of an apartment building, unable to get out. Prior to arrival, the subject was able to free themselves.

0705 hrs., Business Check/ Metro Points Hotel, all clear.

0820 hrs., School Check/ Charles Carroll Middle, all clear.

0858 hrs., Vandalism/ 5900 blk Harland Ave., the victim stated that unknown juveniles broke her bedroom window by unknown means then fled on foot. An area canvass was conducted with nothing found.

0939 hrs., Business check/ 7-eleven, all clear.

1000 hrs., MPS/ 5300 Blk 85th Ave., the complainant stated that he discovered his unknown suspect attempted to gain entry into his residence. Officers investigating determined that no burglary, he had a malfunctioning locking system. Property maintenance was notified.

1045 hrs., Premise Check/ Gavin St. & Quentin St., citizen complaints of suspicious activity at the location. An area check was conducted with nothing found.

1105 hrs., Found Child (Arrest)/ Shoppers Food Warehouse, a citizen found a 5 yr old wandering in the parking lot. A search of the area was conducted and the mother was located. Mother was cited, CPS, and Lt. Butler was notified.

1140 hrs., Fight/ 5500 Blk Karen Elaine Dr., the complainant stated that he observed a fight, officers responded, check the area with nothing found.

1150 hrs., Commercial Alarm/ Metro PCS, Employee activated his remote alarm. Officers responded and determined that it was accidental.

1152 hrs., Theft/ Lowe's Home improvement, the complainant stated of a past theft and wanted case numbers for their internal report.

1152 hrs., Vandalism/ Charles Carroll, the complainant stated that unknown suspect spray painted an exterior wall.

1330 hrs., Business Check/ Foodway, all clear.

1340 hrs., Field Observation/ Plaza 30 Shopping Ctr., citizen complaints of suspicious activity at the location. A foot patrol was conducted with nothing found, officers stopped a subject after observing him drinking in public. He was identified, warrant check with negative results, advised, and then released.


1422 hrs., Roommate Dispute/ 7800 Blk Riverdale Rd., the complainant stated that her roommate was allowing other family members to stay without permission. Both parties were referred to property management.

1501 hrs., Business Check/ TD Bank, all clear.

1510 hrs., Unknown Trouble/ 5300 85th Av., the complainant wanted police service however, refused to provide an actual apartment number. Officers responded and check the building but was unable to locate complainant or signs of any suspicious activity.

1530 hrs., Field Observation/ Riverdale Rd & Annapolis Rd, officers observed the subject panhandling in the roadway. She was stopped, identified, advised, and released.


1535 hrs., Field Observation, Annapolis Rd & Capitol Beltway, officers observed the subject panhandling in the roadway. She was stopped, identified, advised, and released.


1548 hrs., Disorderly/ Subway, the complainant stated that an unhappy customer threw a cup of soda at him then fled on foot. Officers check the area with nothing found.


1630 hrs., Accident/ 8500 Blk Annapolis Rd., unit-1 rear end two vehicle and became disabled. Unit-1 driver was cited and her vehicle was impounded.

1805 HOURS- E.P.S.- 5300 BLK 85TH AVE.- OFFICERS ON PATROL WERE FLAGGED DOWN IN REFERENCE TO TWO MALES DRINKING IN PUBLIC AT THE LOCATION. THE MALES WERE STOPPED, IDENTIFIED, CHECKED NEGATIVE FOR WARRANTS, PHOTOGRAPHED, AND DISCOVERED TO BE UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF P.C.P. BOTH MALES WERE TRANSPORTED TO P.G.H. FOR E.P.S..

1839 HOURS- 911 HANG-UP- 8300 BLK OLIVER ST.- JUVENILE FEMALE WAS PLAYING WITH THE RESIDENCE PHONE AND ACCIDENTALLY DIALED EMERGENCY SERVICES. ALL RESIDENTS WERE MET, CHECKED OK AND WERE ADVISED.

1850 HOURS- LOST PROPERTY- 85TH AVE./LONGFELLOW ST.- CALLER REPORTED SHE TRACKED A LOST CELLULAR PHONE TO THE AREA. THE CALLER MADE CONTACT WITH A RESIDENT, WHO RETURNED THE CALLERS PROPERTY WITHOUT INCIDENT.

1925 HOURS- MANDATORY PREMISE CHECK- 5440 85TH AVE.- COMPLAINTS OF MALES LOITERING, TRESPASSING, SMOKING C.D.S. AND DRINKING. AREA WAS CANVASED, NO VIOLATIONS WERE OBSERVED.


2010 HOURS- MANDATORY PREMISE CHECK- 7300 GAVIN STREET- REPORTS OF SUSPICIOUS MALES INVOLVED IN ILLEGAL ACTIVITY. AREA WAS CANVASED, NO SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY OBSERVED.

2043 HOURS- ACCIDENT- 8300 BLK FREMONT ST.- CALLER STATED HE WAS IN AN ACCIDENT ON 4/8/16 AND WAS HAVING DIFFICULTY COMMUNICATING WITH THE OTHER PERSON INVOLVED. HE WAS ADVISED TO CONTACT HIS INSURANCE COMPANY FOR A RESOLUTION.

2110 HOURS- PREMISE CHECK- 8500 ANNAPOLIS RD.- FOOT PATROL OF THE METRO POINTS. ALL CLEAR.

2220 HOURS- PREMISE CHECK- 7710 RIVERDALE RD.- ALL CLEAR.

2240 HOURS- CHECK WELFARE- 7700 BLK RIVERDALE RD.- OFFICERS ON PATROL OBSERVED AN INTOXICATED MALE SLEEPING IN THE PARKING LOT. OFFICERS MADE CONTACT WITH THE MALE, HE WAS IDENTIFIED, CHECKED NEGATIVE, PHOTOGRAPHED, ADVISED AND SENT ON HIS WAY.

2321 HOURS- C.D.S. COMPLAINT- 5500 Blk KAREN ELAINE DR. - CALLER COMPLAINED HIS DOWNSTAIRS NEIGHBOR WAS SMOKING CIGARS AND THE SMOKE WAS MAKING ITS WAY INTO HIS APARTMENT. THE CALLER WAS ADVISED THAT THE ISSUE WAS A CIVIL MATTER AND TO CONTACT HIS LANDLORD.

0657 Hours - Stolen Auto - 7700 Block of Riverdale Road: An unknown suspect stole the victim's vehicle during the overnight hours fleeing in an unknown direction. The victim was provided case numbers and advised to contact her insurance company. Report Written 0807 Hours - Suspicious Person - 7700 Block of Riverdale Rd: An unknown caller advised a male in gray was asleep under the stairwell unresponsive. Officers responded and made contact with the subject who advised he was on the bus all night and needed a place to sleep. The male checked negative for warrants and was sent on his way.
