 0531 HOURS- THEFT FROM AUTO- 6100 BLOCK WESTBROOK DRIVE- OFFICERS RESPONDED AND MADE CONTACT WITH THE CALLER WHO STATED THE TAILGATES OF HIS TRUCK WERE STOLEN OVERNIGHT. REPORT WRITTEN

0621 HOURS- ACCIDENT- 8300 BLOCK ANNAPOLIS ROAD- AN OFFICER MADE CONTACT WITH THE CALLER WHO STATED A MALE STRUCK HER VEHICLE WHILE PARKING AND THEN WENT INTO THE DIALYSIS FACILITY. THERE WAS ABSOLUTELY NO EVIDENCE OF AN ACCIDENT OR DAMAGE. THE DRIVER OF THE ALLEGED STRIKING VEHICLE COULD NOT BE LOCATED, THEREFORE THE INSURANCE INFORMATION ON THE VEHICLE WAS PROVIDED TO THE CALLER, SHE WAS ADVISED. 

0727 HOURS- THEFT FROM AUTO- 5700 BLOCK HARLAND AVE- OFFICERS RESPONDED AND MADE CONTACT WITH THE CALLER WHO STATED HER SIDEVIEW MIRRORS WERE STOLEN OVERNIGHT. REPORT WRITTEN

0847 HOURS- STATION CALL (M.P.S.)- NCPD H.Q.- AN OFFICER MADE CONTACT WITH A COMPLAINANT WHO STATED HE WAS INJURED AT THE LOWE’S YESTERDAY. THE COMPLAINT SUFFERED A CUT TO HIS FINGER AND ALREADY REPORTED IT THROUGH LOWES. THE COMPLAINANT WAS ADVISED AND REFERRED TO LOWES CORPORATE OFFICES. 

0936 HOURS- FAMILY DISPUTE- 8600 BLOCK 85TH AVE - OFFICERS RESPONDED AND MADE CONTACT WITH THE CALLER WHO STATED SHE WANTED HER GRANDSON REMOVED OUT OF THE RESIDENCE, BOTH PARTIES WERE ADVISED AND REFERRED TO MOBILE CRISIS.

1003 HOURS- DISORDERLY- 7600 BLOCK FOUNTAINBLEAU DRIVE- OFFICERS RESPONDED TO THE LOCATION FOR AN UNKNOWN FEMALE SLEEPING ON AN A/C UNIT. UPON ARRIVAL, OFFICERS DID NOT OBSERVE ANYTHING OF THAT NATURE.

1006 HOURS- “HIT & RUN”- 8500 BLOCK OLIVER STREET- OFFICERS RESPONDED AND SPOKE WITH THE CALLER OVER THE PHONE WHOM WAS NOT IN SCENE STAYING HIS NEIGHBOR WITNESSED HIS VEHICLE GET STRUCK YESTERDAY. A HIT & RUN COULD NOT BE VERIFIED, THE CALLER WAS ADVISED.

1130 HOURS- PREMISE CHECK- 8400 BLOCK ANNAPOLIS ROAD - OFFICERS CONDUCTED A PREMISE CHECK AT THE LOCATION IN SEARCH FOR ANY SUSPICIOUS PERSONS, VEHICLES, AND/OR ACTIVITIES; NONE OF WHICH WERE OBSERVED AT THIS TIME. 

1220 HOURS- PREMISE CHECK- 5300-5400 BLOCK OF 85TH AVENUE - OFFICERS ON PATROL CONDUCTED A PREMISE CHECK OF THE AREA FOR SUSPICIOUS PERSONS, VEHICLES OR ACTIVITIES, NONE OF WHICH WERE OBSERVED. 

1315 HOURS- PREMISE CHECK- 7600 BLOCK OF FONTAINEBLEAU DR- OFFICERS ON PATROL CHECKED THE AREA FOR SUSPICIOUS PERSONS, VEHICLES OR ACTIVITIES, NONE OF WHICH WERE OBSERVED.    

1430 HOURS- PREMISE CHECK- 5500 BLOCK OF KAREN ELAINE DRIVE - OFFICERS CONDUCTED A PREMISE CHECK AT THE LOCATION IN SEARCH FOR ANY SUSPICIOUS PERSONS, VEHICLES, AND/OR ACTIVITIES; NONE OF WHICH WERE OBSERVED AT THIS TIME.

1548 HOURS- DISORDERLY- 8500 BLOCK ANNAPOLIS ROAD - OFFICERS RESPONDED TO THE LOCATION FOR AN UNWANTED GUEST IN THE LOBBY. UPON ARRIVAL THE INDIVIDUAL WAS GONE, THE CALLER WAS ADVISED.

1620 HOURS- PREMISE CHECK- 6100- 6500 BLOCK OF LAMONT DRIVE- OFFICERS ON PATROL CHECKED THE AREA FOR SUSPICIOUS PERSONS, VEHICLES OR ACTIVITIES, NONE OF WHICH WERE OBSERVED.   

1725 HOURS- PREMISE CHECK-8300-8400 BLOCK OF ANNAPOLIS ROAD - OFFICERS ON PATROL CHECKED THE AREA FOR SUSPICIOUS PERSONS, VEHICLES OR ACTIVITIES, NONE OF WHICH WERE OBSERVED. 


1803 hours- MPS- 6600 block Rycroft Avenue: Officers apprehended the Juveniles and observed they had pies in their possession. The Caller advised there was no property damage or tampering at their residence. The Juveniles advised they were playing a prank on random house’s throwing pies at whoever opened the door. The Juveniles were released to their parents. REPORT WRITTEN

 

1920 hours-  Disorderly- 8500 block Nicholson Street: The Caller advised someone allowed their dog to relieve themselves in their front yard and did not clean it up. Officers canvassed the area looking for the suspected individual, which revealed negative results. (No report)

 

1923 hours- Theft from Auto- 7700 block Riverdale Road: The caller advised someone broke into his vehicle on August 27, 2020, and stole tools from his vehicle. The caller stated he never called Police services to make a report. The caller left the premises, returned today and he only wanted the case numbers. The caller was advised. No report

 

2025 hours-(RCOP)- 8700 block 85th Avenue/ 5700 block Lamont Drive: Officers canvassed the area to observe any banners illegally displaying "Black Lives Matter" against New Carrollton Policy.

 

2105 hours- Premise Check- 8500 block Annapolis Road: Officers canvassed the area, all was clear.

 

2138 hours- Residential Alarm- 5800 block Nystrom Street: Communications advised an alarm is coming from this location. Communications were notified by the homeowner that they were not present at the house. Officers checked all windows and exterior doors which were all secure. Officers made contact with a family member inside the residence who stated they forgot the passcode to deactivate the alarm. (No report).

 

2232 hours- Premise Check- 8100 block Annapolis Road: Officers canvassed the area, all was clear.

 

2317 hours- Premise Check- 7800 block Riverdale Road: Officers canvassed the area, all was clear.

 

0049 hours- Vehicle Accident- 5900 block 89th Ave: The driver lost control during the weather conditions and had struck 2 parked vehicles. The striking vehicle had disabling damages and there were no injuries reported. The vehicle was impounded by Tino's Towing. REPORT WRITTEN

 

0134 hours- Disorderly- 6200 block Westbrook Drive: The caller advised a former tenant continues to come to the house and leave trash on the property. The caller inquired about their options to keep them safe. The caller was advised. (No report)

 

0145 hours- Occupied Vehicle- 6600 block Chestnut Avenue: Communications advised there were 2 occupants sitting inside a vehicle in front of the house. Officer's canvassed the area and found no vehicle with any occupants inside. (No report)

 

0224 hours- Premise Check- 5400 block 85th Avenue; Officers canvassed the area, all was clear.

 

0319 hours- Premise Check- 8100 block Annapolis Road: Officers canvassed the area, all was clear.

 

0404 hours- Disorderly- 8500 block Annapolis Road: Officer working part time advised some guests were inside the lobby arguing with front desk employees. A manager from the hotel came and assisted with any problem the guests were experiencing. (No report)

 

0531 hours- MPS- 8300 block Oliver Street: Communications advised Howard County Police requested New Carrollton Police to check if the registered owner of a disabled vehicle in Ellicott City was home. Officers made several attempts to make contact with the homeowner, with no results.

 

0607 hours- Fight- 7700 block Topton Street: Communications advised 20-30 people were fighting outside. Officers arrived and observed nobody outside or leaving the area. (No report)

0657 Hours - Stolen Auto - 7700 Block of Riverdale Road: An unknown suspect stole the victim's vehicle during the overnight hours fleeing in an unknown direction. The victim was provided case numbers and advised to contact her insurance company.
