0600 Commercial Alarm/ 8300 block Annapolis Rd - alarm from the front motion. The building checked secure. Unknown reason for activation. No report

0715 Premise Check/ 8500 block Annapolis Rd - it was business as usual. 

0820 Traffic Control/ Westbrook Dr. @ Lamont Dr. - no violation observed. 

0900 Premise Check/ 5500 block Karen Elaine Dr. & surrounding streets - the area was clear 

0920 Premise Check/ 8400 block Annapolis Rd - it was business as usual. 

0945 Loud Music/ 7700 block Arehart Dr. - caller advised loud music from an unknown unit. Officers checked the building and the music was lowered prior to arrival. No report

1045 Premise Check/ 85th Ave Apts. - the area was clear.

1115 Premise Check/ 6400 block Inlet St - the area was clear. 

1123 Unknown Trouble/ 8300 block Annapolis Rd - caller dialed 911 and disconnected. On call back, the caller only answered yes. Once on the scene, the caller was attempting to report a vehicle stolen. It was learned the owner had retrieved the vehicle. No report

1208 Stolen Auto/ 8400 block Annapolis Rd - caller stated his vehicle was stolen from the parking lot. Officers made contact with Charley's Crane Service who impounded the vehicle. No report

1353 Premise Check/ 85th Ave - the area was clear.

1432 Suspicious Person/ 8100 block Gavin St - 3rd party caller advised a male was living in the residence without permission. Officers attempted to make contact with the occupants of the residence. There was no answer at the door. No report

1502 Accident/ 8400 block Annapolis Rd - two vehicles had a minor crash. Parties exchanged information with the assistance of officers. No report

1540 Premise Check/ 6400 block Inlet St - there were several news media outlets in the area. 

1615 Premise Check/ 7700 block Riverdale Rd - it was business as usual. 

1650 Premise Check/ 6100 block 84th Ave - the area was clear. 

1750 Disorderly/ 8400 block Annapolis Rd - caller advised a male talking to customers. Upon arrival, the caller advised the male left on foot. The area was canvassed with negative results. No report

1835 hrs., 6100 block Lamont Dr./ Suspicious vehicles, Officers searched the area and did not locate the vehicles.  The one vehicle located was a female who lived at the house on the corner and the vehicle was being parked.  No report.

1900 hrs., Premise Check/ Shops at New Carrollton, check clear.

1925 hrs., Premise Check/ CVS Pharmacy, check clear.

2005 hrs., Premise Check/ Beckett Field (Hanko Building), check clear.

2030 hrs., Premise Check/ City of New Carrollton Public Library, Officers located a black plastic bag by the entry door.  Officers checked the bag and it contained books for a donation to the library, check clear.

2110 hrs., Premise Check/ 5300-5400 block 85th Ave, check clear.

2150 hrs., Premise Check/ Metro Points Hotel, check clear.

2215 hrs., Premise Check/ Heritage Square Apartments, check clear.

2240 hrs., 8300 block Annapolis Rd/ Commercial Alarm, alarm company stated the alarm was coming from the front upper motion detector.  Officers checked and all the doors were secure to the business.  Check clear, No report.

2250 hrs., 8300 block of Annapolis Rd/ Check of an open door.  Officers observed the doorway leading to the inside of the back of the building unsecure.  Officers checked and no other door was unsecured.  No Report.

2305 hrs., Premise Check/ 7-11, check clear.

2345 hrs., 8400 block of Annapolis Rd/ Suspicious vehicle occupied, officers discovered the vehicle was a loaner vehicle and neither party inside had a valid driver's license.  While Officers were conducting an inventory search of the vehicle to prepare for impound several Starbucks gift cards, bags, and a credit card skimmer were located.   On call command was notified and all items pertaining to the crime were placed into property.  Report written

0140 hrs., School Check/ Charles Carroll Middle School, check clear.

0210 hrs., School Check/ Margaret Brent School, check clear.

0225 hrs., TD Bank/ Fight, caller advised they observed a male and a female in the vehicle involved in an altercation.  All parties were checked and there were no signs of a physical altercation happening.  All parties said they did not fight each other.  Officers took down the information and a report was written.  Report written

0313 hrs., 7-11/ Suspicious Person, Officers arrived to speak to the male but they found that he left prior to their arrival.  Officers conducted a search of the area with negative results.  No Report.

0330 hrs., Premise Check/ Plaza 30, check clear.

0400 hrs., 8400 block of Annapolis Rd/ Assist Motorist, Officers observed a vehicle on the roadway with the flashers on.  Officers approached the vehicle to see it had a flat tire from striking the curb.  Officers called for a tow and the tow company and the driver had the vehicle towed to his own location.  No Report.

0657 Hours - Stolen Auto - 7700 Block of Riverdale Road: An unknown suspect stole the victim's vehicle during the overnight hours fleeing in an unknown direction. The victim was provided case numbers and advised to contact her insurance company. Report Written 0807 Hours - Suspicious Person - 7700 Block of Riverdale Rd: An unknown caller advised a male in gray was asleep under the stairwell unresponsive. Officers responded and made contact with the subject who advised he was on the bus all night and needed a place to sleep. The male checked negative for warrants and was sent on his way. Officers spoke with the caller who stated his vehicle had been broken into. Officers gathered all information needed and generated a report.  Report Written 1028 Hours -Disorderly- 8500 Block of Annapolis Rd: Officers responded to the listed location for a disorderly male.
